The Dr at the OP location is rude and he told me if I don’t like what he has to say to get seen some where else.

This is for the Orange Park location. I would give 0 stars to the MD if I could, the receptionist was amazing. The kindest woman, I don’t know how she still works under him. For this to be a MENTAL HEALTH clinic I am… BEGGING you to go somewhere else! I have jumped through hoops to get this appointment. This was finally my time to get the help and I drove exactly 56 minutes to this appointment. An appointment at 5 pm because he only sees new patients on Wednesday evenings ONLY. So he see new patients for one singular day of the week leaving ME with very limited availability. I brought my two kids with me because I didn’t have anyone to watch them. I had them all prepared with snacks and an iPad to keep them calm and behaved. I was informed AFTER I drove an hour to see him at FIVE AT NIGHT, To be told by the receptionist that she had to reschedule my appointment because he didn’t want my kids there. I was never told not to bring them and had I been told I would have made arrangements but that would have been last resort. I was doing what I had to do to make it to this appointment because I need the help for MENTAL HEALTH. I didn’t get previous reviews about this office because this was the only place my insurance covered but needless to say I will not step foot back into that office. I broke down and cried in the office begging to be seen because I have waited long and went through so much for the appointment. The receptionist even offered to keep my kids during the appointment and I could hear her advocating for me trying her best to help me and he still turned me away. This doctor is lucky that today wasn’t my last straw with my mental health because this could have really pushed someone over the edge. The sweet receptionist followed me all the way to my car promising she will help me find a new psychiatrist closer to me that my insurance covers and even said she’s going to call me tomorrow to check on me. She did not leave me alone until she knew I was okay enough to drive home. Long story short DO NOT go here.

Their new patient appointments are 2 hours but they schedule all appointments 1 hour apart. So they are telling people the dr is running behind. A lady came in while I was there today her appointment at 5. She got there… at 459. They say I was just about to call you... lies! The Dr. Is rude beyond measure. These people/patients are traveling far to be seen and they are playing with people's time. There's no way you are scheduled new patients at 3 4 and 5 when the appointments last 2 hours. Then tell the 4o'clock that he's 1 hour behind then tell the 5 he's 2 hours behind because the 3 o'clock is about to come out and he still has to see the 4 o'clock. Then when people crash out because you want to reschedule them after they have already waited 2 months for this appointment and they need their meds and cant be seen for another month yall act as if they are in the wrong. It's not right at all. I feel so bad sitting here watching the nonchalant behavior. Why do yall get into these fields?

Calls are not returned even when my doctor sent them the referral. They should pick up the phone and just make the appointment

The people who work in the building are nice enough, but I've never had anyone call me a liar. I won't be back, and since I am a liar, I won't be paying my bill. (since that is what started the whole thing).

My issue is actually with the Philips Hwy location but its address does not show anymore. Dr. Andy I believe is his name, was given forms by Disability Discharge, which is the program all disabled former students use… when they go to their therapist's office to get their student debt cancelled to confirm they have a disability. The form was a no brainer and I was willing to pay the 130 dollar fee, after weeks of dragging his feet saying he did not understand, needed instructions, and when I called the program they said the form has the instructions on it, after providing him the full forms so he could understand what it was about which a 3 year old could, he had Donna from Billing tell me they did not want to do it. This is discrimination they have no reason why not to do it and now I have to fire my good therapist and seek a new center to fill it out. I will make a complaint and sue, and investigate to see about a class action against Dr. Andy and his company.

Giving a one star is honestly being generous. I’ve never left a review before this is how serious this is. Please if you have anxiety don’t come here. For starters you have to wait over an hour for appointments and the… MD here makes you feel so little mentally it’s no fun. Every session I get prescribed a new medication and get spoken down to like I’m a little kid. When you answer questions in a way he doesn’t like he cuts you off and say things like “I didn’t ask you that” “I’m gonna repeat the questions again” which makes you feel like you’re stupid. Also he has a policy to wear masks in his office but wears his mask under his nose or chin. Smacks gum like he rather be anywhere else but the session. I beg you don’t waste your time here!!!

I am treated like an inferior, made to wait ridiculous amounts of time for terrible service by a rude man, who is unable to have a real conversation with anybody. Somebody needs to take this practice away from Dr. Amiel… and get new management in here, this is ridiculous! I’ve been waiting in the waiting room for over an hour

Horrible just Horrible Experience! Michael Amiel MD is the most horrible MD there could possibly be . He was extremely rude to me ! When i went in his office it feels like he was interigating me . Every time i told him… something he didn’t want to hear he would say “I didn’t ask you about that” or “ That’s not what i asked you. I Felt really sad leaving his office please if you are dealing with anxiety or Depresion DONT GO TO HIM ! I will personally pay for you to see another MD , that’s how bad he treated me ! Do No recommend at all !

Constant cancellations, don’t answer the phones, don’t return phone calls- terribly managed. Their provider cancelled, for the third time and they still tried to bill us as a no show. Absolutely appalling scheduling and… management. Only reason for the one star is because they actually have good providers, sadly trying to get an appointment that is kept is a nightmare.

Very unprofessional. No follow-ups to time sensitive matters. No response to messages and they rarely return phone calls timely or at all. Difficulties reaching a live person most of the time. Not a very friendly… environment.

The counselor that I see see very easy to talk too and is very helpful getting me the skills I need to help me.
