Klinika za psihijatriju Vrapče Detox and Rehab Services
Klinika za psihijatriju Vrapče is a public university psychiatric hospital in Zagreb with a dedicated Institute for Addiction Treatment and a separate Institute for Dual Disorders treating psychosis alongside substance dependence, sitting within a wider hospital offering inpatient care, day-hospital and outpatient clinics, and community-based and mobile rehabilitation teams.

How Much Does Treatment at Klinika za psihijatriju Vrapče Cost?
Given the hospital’s dedicated Institute for Addiction Treatment, its inpatient care broadly corresponds to the residential band of the local market, roughly €5,800 to €16,000 (£5,000–£14,000), while its outpatient centre sits closer to €700–€2,300 (£600–£2,000); these are area-wide estimates rather than the hospital’s own published rates. Being a public institution accessible through Croatia’s national health system, treatment may also be available at no direct cost to residents, with access generally depending on referral and residency.

Klinika za psihijatriju Vrapče Reviews
Patients, family members who have supported a loved one through treatment here, and clinicians who have referred into Klinika za psihijatriju Vrapče are all welcome to leave a review describing their experience.
Given the size of the hospital, it’s worth looking at which specialised institute or unit would actually be relevant to your situation, how the dual disorders unit handles co-occurring conditions, and what regulatory oversight from the Ministarstvo zdravstva (Ministry of Health) means in practice. A useful question is how a referral moves from initial assessment into a specific treatment unit.
I'm looking for help regarding a person addicted to alcohol. A terrible person is calling the central ordering, without any empathy or willingness to help. Let's take into account, at least from my knowledge, that… people have a hard time deciding to get help and you get a "slap" right at the start... disgusting!!!!
The hospital looks like something out of a horror movie, but Dr. Sisek from the geriatrics department was wonderful to my mother and helped a lot. I don't know about the others.
Doctor Branko Marić is a true legend, always there to talk to and advise patients. Keep it up.
This hospital taught me that it's best to be your own doctor. If you don't take care of yourself, it's unlikely anyone else will. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn how to become completely self-sufficient.
One word. Better to be sick than to be here. Believe me.
It's a very nice place, I recommend it.
Beautiful hospital and honest doctors
UZASSS!!! We brought a grandfather with mild dementia and there he got 100 other diseases, they abused him, they tied him up and he wasn't violent, they didn't give him water for a while, they kept him hungry and the… rest... They abused him, he has bruises all over his body, we came to rescue him, he was unconscious and got pneumonia because they didn't let him eat or drink for 7 days!!! He was almost done I feel sad for the abuse of people there
This is how they almost killed my grandfather, they only gave him pills to the point that when we came to visit, the man was literally like a plant, they didn't give him water or anything! He has bruises on his legs… from being tied up, it's terrible to see, after all that we came to get him out of there as soon as possible, but the ambulance came to get him because he got pneumonia because of them and he was unconscious. So now he's in a normal hospital for normal treatment to recover from them and to cure his pneumonia. File a lawsuit immediately!
Emperor Francis Joseph I and the commoner Ivan Mažuranić built this TEMPLE OF HUMANITY in 1878/1879 and named it "Institution for the Insane Stenjevec"
Most nurses and technicians are professional and polite, while the doctors are a disgrace to all doctors, they write discharge letters with false information, the doctors do not talk to patients adequately, if you are… in the intensive care unit and have problems and need therapy unrelated to mental health, you will not get it, the doctors do not respond, they do not read the patient's history and overall they are not good doctors
Definitely the worst hospital in the Republic of Croatia. Emergency admission, never a doctor who knows his job, always some philosophers who only make it difficult and do not try to help.
Shocked as a companion of a person who went for a check-up due to insomnia, I experienced such stress and rudeness in the hallway, which is huge, wide, where 2 people were sitting, 2 people including me, and those 2… people were standing against the wall. The doctor who my brother-in-law went to was coming. With the doctor came a rude nurse with black hair and a tattoo behind her ear, and in a loud, rude tone as she approached she said loudly and sickly, "Everyone sit down while I pass by"... That left me in shock... I started walking next to her and in a calm tone told her that it was a shame how she treated people and that why was she pretending to be God that everyone had to sit down when she passed by? To that she said, don't address me as you, but as you! Such a rude person has no place, especially in such an institution. She would get kicked out right away... Shameful low rude yuck from the employees, I will also emphasize that I can publicly name the people who work as employees and abuse patients at night by punching, mocking and taking out their frustrations on patients who need help. Also tying up, dating, beating up and stealing personal belongings.... Shameful
I love this place! Free food, free drugs, free sleeping place Ah and such wonderful doctors truly if you want a vacation I recommend 5/5 stars 😍😍😍
The accommodation is ok, the food is average for a hospital, the staff was more than ok towards me, positive impressions
For patients info-you can ask for meal replacements! As for medications, stick to the popular saying “less is more”! …just for the sake of a few, extremely nice nurses and medical technicians, it's 2ka.
I was there, I'm not thrilled.
This goes specifically to Dr. Đuran, who told my friend that she should "get used to her suicidal thoughts" as if it were something completely normal and then asked me (who had just had stitches removed from her hand)… "is that how you count your days here" so I honestly can't believe you're a representative of the emergency and urgent psychiatry department.
nice place to spend the night.
Awful especially at the check in. The staff doesn’t take a chance to listen. A very scary and dark place that never helped me get better. And other things that were not allowed to share. I can only say that the hell you… might be goingh thrugh right now. By going there you’ll be trhown into much worse. Pure darkness and evil.
Arrogance at the level and humiliation of patients
