Angel Hope House – Newark

Angel Hope House gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life when I needed it most. From the day I arrived, I was treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. The staff truly cared about my recovery and encouraged me… to believe in myself, even during the difficult moments. The structure, accountability, and support helped me grow not only in my sobriety but also as a person. What meant the most to me was being surrounded by women who understood my struggles and supported one another through the recovery process. I learned valuable life skills, gained much needed confidence, and developed healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. Angel Hope House provided a safe and positive environment where I could focus on healing and creating a better future for myself. I am incredibly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and opportunities I received there. The experience has had a lasting impact on my life, and I would highly recommend Angel Hope House to any woman looking for a supportive place to continue her recovery journey.

When I first got to Angel Hope House I didn’t fully realize how impactful the experience would be. I just knew that as the months passed by I felt present, inspired, and alive in a way I hadn’t before. It challenged me… to step outside my comfort zone and see the world and myself from a new perspective. What made the experience so special to me was that it made me feel hopeful, capable, and open to growth. It also changed the way I think, the way I approach challenges, and the way I value myself and others. I gained confidence in my abilities and learned lessons that continue to guide my decisions. Where I once felt uncertain, I now feel motivated and resilient. Most importantly, the experience reminded me that growth often comes from embracing new opportunities and trusting the process, even when it feels uncomfortable. It taught me gratitude for the moment itself and for the person I became because of it. Angel hope house + staff will always hold a special place in my heart. My forever home & because of them I’m a better person than I was before ❤️❤️

This place is amazing….

Life changing experience, for the better. Amazing staff, great counselors, and wonderful teachings. Angel Hope House gave me a peace of mind, hope, and courage to move on to the next chapter of my life. I also gained… structure, and financial stability during my stay which helped me make the right decisions for my exit. Over all this place is welcoming, and makes you feel very much at home.

Angel Hope House is a beautiful program with an amazing staff that will truly touch your life. If you are looking for a place to recover safely and take the time out of your life to do the work required, then I would… strongly recommend this treatment program. This program helped me understand the disease of addiction, helped me heal from past trauma, and taught me how to be a responsible and productive member of society. I would like to give a special shout out to Mrs. Phyllis Jennings- Brown for taking the time to get to know me on an individual and person level. I have been very misunderstood my entire life, and this woman took the time to understand me. She is a phenomenal woman and a role model in my life! God bless 🪽

I cannot give enough credit to this place. Angel hope house truly saved my life. It gave me a safe place to re enter society and the resources I needed to become an independent strong woman. I’ve been here for just 5… months and I never imagined living life the way I do today. I am leaving soon and I am fully prepared to live life on life’s terms. With all the tools I’ve gained in here , I will keep pushing forward and making my friends and family proud. Most importantly, make myself proud. I would recommend any woman who is looking to change their life and learn to love life again, come to angel hope house. The staff and counselors are incredible. All of us girls in the house are so loving and they are my family now. The house is very clean and lots of space. Also I have to say we eat VERY GOOD here. I will definitely miss this place and stay in contact with the girls and staff but I’m so ready to transition to living on my own. 10/10 !!!!!

Angel hope house really saved my life, the staff and other clients there treated me like family. I accomplished so much during the course of my 10 month stay there, I transformed into a woman and got the help that I… needed. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone in need.

I had a great experience there. My last day there was May 3rd 2018 and I really appreciate everything that they have done for me and helped me with. I still keep in contact with them and even sometimes visit. I love all… the staff there and if you’re really serious about getting help I strongly recommend Angel Hope House. Even tho I don’t stay there I still call if I need to talk to someone and they always find the time to talk and help. I have been to a few places but I didn’t feel like I received any help at all but at Angel hope I didn’t only receive help I also gained friends and family there. I really really really love them ❤️❤️❤️

if your looking to change your life with positive and loving people, this is the best place to be they helped me to the fullest and I've never felt better. the counselors are amazing was able to help me get to the root… of my issues. many people see the change in me but most importantly, I see the change in myself. I love this place and i love who ive become thank you so much for all the love and support!
