I absolutely love dr Russell. Always checks on me and how the meds are working but never has he once treated me as less of a person. Been going to him for a decade.

I don’t know what I would have done without Dr. Russell but I started seeing him two years ago and I’ve completely transformed myself into an adult! Instead of an addict. He has helped me with more than substance abuse… issues because of all the drug abuse I now have mental health issues and he helped me through it all and now I’m living the best days of my life! I would highly recommend him and his office staff are amazing and always there to help!

The staff and Drs. Are very helpful, the hospitality is above and beyond!! There definitely heaven sent..... Keep up the good work!!

So two things we all have in life that’s an opinion and a way to express it. Anyone that wants to think negatively of DR RUSSEL obviously still does not take credit for their actions. Dr Russell has always been caring… with a true full heart. You don’t find empathy in people much anymore much less a doctor. The office staff is so professional and a great group of people. I never have been the one to go to a Doctor due to the condescending behavior and entitlement. I rather fill my life with optimistic life loving people, that’s what you will find here.

Carolina Energetics is amazing, Dr. Russell actually cares about his patients, he takes the time to listen you. Sonja, Jennifer, and Michael are all amazing office staff they go above and beyond to make sure everything… is taken care of and you have what you need. Dr. Russell has helped me tremendously, he has really been a blessing in my life and I'm grateful to have found him. Thank you to all the staff at Carolina Energetics!

First off the only reason I’m giving them a two is because when I first started going there, I met a wonderful doctor named Dr. Tana Holloway. She was the first person to ever listen to me after 4 1/2 years of not… knowing what the heck was going on with my body, but not only that she cared about me as a person. After a while, though, I ended up having to change to Dr. Russell. And for whatever reason back in 2024 they decided heck we’re gonna let her go. So without notice they emailed me yes I said it they emailed me and told me that I was being discharged. The only thing that I could figure out is because they were trying to say that I owe them $640. But there was no way because I was told that when I made a double payment during tax time in February that I was all caught up with my Payments! Not only that, but Dr. Russell will not let you be a month behind. He will not see you or they will not see you unless you have cash in hand. It does not matter if it sends you in withdrawals. Here is my best advice to anyone seek you out a Doctor Who is a behavioral health specialist and ask them to put On the subluxa shot. I’m not even sure if I spelled that word right but after four times I’ve taken that shot almost 12 months clean. anyways, I had all the proof that I needed to show that I had made all those payments and that I was all caught up is set for my next visit. So either someone at the front desk is pocketing money or somebody doesn’t know how to do bookwork. Not only that, but Michael is the rudest and most heartless individual that works up there. If you ask him nicely to do something for you, he’ll say he’ll do it, but he won’t do it. The only thing I can figure out is that that’s a heartless man. Then I was supposed to receive my discharge papers. But I never received them so then I was told I needed to drive all the way back down there to get them. Why would I wanna go all the way back down there and see them. After them discharging me in 2024. I am now receiving bills when I had Medicaid and they should have been sending off My specimen samples to a lab every time I went so they could get extra money out of me for that. I never failed any kind of test that they gave me not one time. All you’re gonna see is good comments on here because they have control and they can go and they can delete things. And no, I’m not putting my name on here because I’m not that stupid. I was just gonna leave well enough alone until I started getting bills from you now.

After sobriety for 7 plus years, I found myself in a dark place in my life. I searched high and low for a Dr who truly cared. After trying one clinic, it seemed they didn't care about anything that I was going through… (triggers,etc.) After being at the clinic a year I began doing a lot of research because I was on the verge of another relapse. Then I came across Carolina Energetics, and decided to give them a call. From my first appointment and the past 8+ months there I have felt cared about, listened to, and feel like when I am going through something that could trigger a relapse Dr Russell and his team have always listened and cared. From the front desk ladies and their sweet personalities, to Michael with his bright and warming smile, to Dr Russell who is so knowledgeable and always making sure I understand every aspect of what I'm going through and ways to help cope during the hard moments in life, it feels more like I'm walking into to see long distance family I only get to see once a month. This entire team truly knows how to treat those of us in recovery. Going through adultery, and domestic violence could've sent me spiraling, but Dr Russell and his team helped me remember my worth through it. They encouraged me and helped me find the strength to fight for myself and my children. I truly don't think I would be where I am today 3.5 years sober again! Oh and let's not forget them reminding me that I am sober even on maintenance medication. I carried so much shame and guilt because I went 7 years without taking anything, so I went through a period of not looking at myself as I was sober. They also helped me conquer that hurdle as well. We do recover. Who you choose as the army to stand behind you matters. And I truly couldn't thank this entire office enough. I deeply love all of them in the most professional way. And I've also met the new Nurse Practitioner and she is just as sweet and kind and easy to talk to in passing. I don't think there is a better team out there. I hope someday, that I can be the person on the other side helping others like they do each day. When I am I will always remember them and be encouraged by what they have shown me as a patient. Thank you to the entire team at Carolina Energetics. You all are truly the best of the best.

They have the best staff and I love my doctor he helps with my recovery so much never had a bad experience

My step son has been going here for a couple months now. The changes in that short amount of time have been drastic in a great way. I can tell he loves the doctor and actually feels heard and understood by a doctor for… once. In the little time that he has became a patient here he has completely turned his life around for the better with the help of Carolina Energetics. Thanks for giving me my son back!

This place has helped me a great deal stay sober and stable if you abused their help that’s on you but if you do right it will help you thankful for the everyone there they treat you like family ❤️

I have to say i was very nervous about going to a treatment center considering this is my first time. Although after my visit i am surprised to say this clinic exceeded my expectations all the way around. Staff at the… front desk were super nice , warm and welcoming. They answer every question you have with smiles on their faces. Then my appointment with Dr. Russell went amazing! Within minutes i could see that he is very compassionate about helping patients. He is amazing and very easy to talk to. Im amazed at how knowledgeable he is. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that is serious about getting sober.

There are no words to say what this Dr has done for me he saved my life when no one else believed me he did. I'm forever in depth to this man. He is a true Christian and they are hard to find.

For so long the rug was pulled out from me. No doctor would treat me like a human. This place actually treats you like a human and helps you be a functional member of society. These doctors will actually help you live… in your own flesh and work with your financial situation. They are the doctors that I will see because I have medical PTSD. No other doctors have treated me so well and allow me to recover. Most doctors will try and force feed you 5 medicines that do not work instead of giving you 1 medication that will work but these doctors care and have hearts. Thanks for helping me feel better and functional.

I have been going here for several years , they are very compassionate about what they do and how they treat their patients ,front desk is wonderful all of the doctors are incredible, they literally saved my life they… always take time to explain everything in detail, and go that extra mile -most definitely-one of a kind just come in it's life-changing! 🤍🤍🤍

I absolutely love my doctor Stephanie she is so funny and helps me with more than just my medication she gives me great information about all kinds of medications over the counter for my other health concerns that… another doctor couldn't help me with we have a great bond she's literally my favorite doctor never been this close to any other doc cause they always push you in and out so quick not her she cares we love her! The staff is great they're always there for me when I need them it's just all around a great doctors office so glad to be apart of it. 😁 love you guys!

Staff and doctors are very friendly. Doctors you can tell them anything and they will listen to you and understand you best place I've ever been to in My Life

This place is a straight up pill mill. Prescribing Adderall, suboxone, Wellbutrin, Seroquel and Xanax to one patient is criminal. You are destroying lives, and flooding the streets with pills. CASH only for narcotics???… Are you serious. Looking for other families /and or patients interested in taking class action. This place preys on addicts and prescribes them all of the narcotics they can afford while diagnosing everyone with depression, anxiety and bi-polar to excuse their illegal behavior.

They don't really care about you, they care about the cash that they get from each person that calls them. If you have insurance but don't have $180-$200 dollars, don't bother calling. That's what they should tell you… before they start telling you how wonderful they are and how they want to help people!

Everyone here is amazing and kind!! If you are committed to wanting a new way of life this is the best place to start Dr. Russell is amazing to talk too, very kind and knowledgeable. Just don't mistake his kindness and… softness for weakness. They know exactly what they are doing and know when your lying. Best decision I could have made for myself.

So I was going 2 Dr Russell for either a year or little over a year & really enjoyed going there,helped me out alot,always paid on time,never owed any $,had rescheduled 2-3 times 2wards the beginning of going there due… to rides or had appt. w/DSS for my kids,for the last 6-8mths of going there I was passing all my drug screens except 4pot as when I started going I was failing for other than pot, I'll agree that majority of the times I was 5min late but always called 2let them kno, but now out of no-where my last appt. Oct. 26th 2022 after seeing Russell once a month & was doing so past several mths straight I had called saying I was going 2b 3-4mins late like I always did they answered 2tell me I didn't hav an appt. 2day I was confused bc I knew I didn't miss my appt. I was even out of medicine but they told me that I was discharged LAST WEEK on the 19th & should have gotten a Discharged Packet in the mail on Oct.19th, obviously I didn't or else I would have never waisted my time or sum1s else time or gas $ coming 2began w/instead I would have called the day I should had gotten my Discharged Packet. So since I was a few minutes away I went anyways 2get a better understanding as 2WHY I'm being Discharged but they didn't kno why or would they get Dr. Russell 2hav him explain 2me regardless if he was or wasn't w/patient or take message 2hav him call me...so for this peculiar reason why being Discharged when doing good several mths & no explanation & 2still hav NO IDEA WHY or even bother 2care about their patients like they claim too, so I give them a rating *1* though they cared & wanted 2help ppl get & stay clean! It's even taking em several weeks just 2fax my medical records over 2this new Dr. I'm trying 2start going 2...ugh so ya I've relapse after doing so good...thanks Carolina Energetic!
