Centro de Respostas Integradas da Guarda is the public outpatient addiction service of ICAD, I.P. for the thirteen municipalities of Guarda district, working from Praça Luís de Camões in the historic centre of Guarda since it opened in 1995. The unit began as a Centro de Apoio a Toxicodependentes and marked thirty years in September 2025; it has been part of ICAD, I.P. since January 2024, when the national institute absorbed the regional addiction services. Coordinator Rui Correia, a clinical psychologist, leads the service. The catchment covers Almeida, Celorico da Beira, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Fornos de Algodres, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas, Mêda, Pinhel, Sabugal, Seia, Trancoso and Vila Nova de Foz Côa.
