Centro de Respostas Integradas de Castelo Branco Alcohol and Drug Services
Centro de Respostas Integradas de Castelo Branco offers outpatient assessment and treatment for addictive behaviours and dependencies, including illicit drugs and alcohol, through the Polo de Castelo Branco treatment team, with prevention and reintegration teams working across the district. The Castelo Branco youth consultation runs fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons at the IPDJ ‘Cuida-te +’ prevention office on Rua Dr. José Francisco Palmeiro and covers the whole district; the Fundão session, at the hospital’s outpatient clinic on Rua Adolfo Portela, is held one Monday a month for Fundão, Covilhã and Belmonte. Therapies and medications are not itemised publicly, and services are in Portuguese.
