Centro de Respostas Integradas da Península de Setúbal is the public outpatient addiction service of ICAD, I.P. for nine municipalities, with its head office and the Barreiro treatment team at Avenida do Bocage in Barreiro. The team offers medical, nursing and psychosocial support for illicit-drug and alcohol dependence free through the SNS, with specialist input for dual diagnosis.
Coordinator Armanda Góis leads the CRI, whose catchment is Alcochete, Barreiro, Moita, Montijo, Almada, Seixal, Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra. The Barreiro office, also known as the Polo do Arco Ribeirinho, serves Alcochete, Barreiro, Moita and Montijo; Almada and Seixal are covered from an office on Rua Terras das Cortes Reais in Almada, and Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra from Rua Teotonio Banha in Setúbal. Anyone may approach the treatment team directly to ask for an appointment, or be referred by any public or private entity, preferably by email with a brief clinical summary; urgent cases can be phoned through so a priority intake is scheduled. Treatment is outpatient only.

Centro de Respostas Integradas da Península de Setúbal Alcohol and Drug Services
Centro de Respostas Integradas da Península de Setúbal provides specialised outpatient treatment for addictive behaviours and dependencies through the Equipa de Tratamento do Barreiro, a multidisciplinary team offering medical, nursing and psychosocial support for illicit-drug and alcohol problems. Dual diagnosis receives specific intervention, with onward referral to the hospital psychiatry department when a psychiatric assessment is needed.
The team works with the Barreiro health authority and the CHBM Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, and acts as the local contact point for individuals experiencing homelessness through the NPISA Barreiro network. A prevention team runs community activities with the municipality, such as an April 2026 talk on Barreiro’s history and substance use. The CRI’s youth consultation is held in Setúbal rather than Barreiro, at Largo Jose Afonso on Wednesdays. Services are in Portuguese.

Centro de Respostas Integradas da Península de Setúbal is at Av. do Bocage, nº 34, in the Verderena area of Barreiro, Setúbal district, postcode 2830-002. The CRI head office and the Equipa de Tratamento do Barreiro share the building, which is also known as the Polo do Arco Ribeirinho; the Almada and Setúbal offices are at separate addresses.
Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, and Tuesday 14:00 to 17:00 only.
