So I’ve personally done this program twice. And I really liked the place it’s true the website does need to be updated because they don’t offer a lot of the services it says on the website. But it’s a place you can… really focus on your recovery and work on yourself without any distractions. The staff are also in recovery there selves so it’s not being taught or ran by people with no experience in addiction. If you’re going to go with the right intention of getting yourself together for yourself first then this is the place that I would recommend. They cook good homemade meals. Lots of meat and potatoes. The rooms are big and have their own air conditioner that you can control. My favorite part was how big the property is and if you wanted space there is plenty of space to clear your mind without being bothered.

It's a good place love the open atmosphere and the food was great 👍 But has any rehab or treatment center what you put in is what you're going to get out of it.

⭐ 1 Star My experience at Clay’s Crossing Rehabilitation Center in Maud, Oklahoma was extremely disappointing, and I feel people considering this facility deserve to know what I experienced. The biggest issue for me was… my experience with Mike, who I understood to be the person in charge. I found his behavior toward me to be extremely arrogant, disrespectful, rude, and lacking in compassion. This morning, around 8:00 a.m., I was told to leave the facility and was put out with all of my belongings, despite the fact that they knew I had nowhere to go. What made the situation even worse was that I was threatened with having the police called simply because I went to my room to collect my own clothes and personal belongings. I was ultimately dropped off at a police station. That is not how I expected someone seeking help and treatment to be treated. Another major issue was the difference between what I was led to believe the facility offered and what I actually found when I arrived. One of the reasons I specifically chose Clay’s Crossing was because of the programs and amenities advertised, including horseback therapy. I was expecting those services to actually be available, but there weren't even horses there. There were also other things advertised that, in my experience, were either unavailable or substantially different from what I expected based on their website. I also witnessed what appeared to be repeated budget-cutting and reductions involving staff and services, including the kitchen and other areas of the facility. Given the amount of money involved in residential treatment, I expected the focus to be on providing a quality environment and adequate support for the people there. I am not writing this because I expect everyone to have the exact same experience I did. I am writing it because I believe prospective clients and their families deserve to ask questions, verify what services are actually available, and make sure the reality of the facility matches what is advertised before committing to treatment. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Clay’s Crossing to do their homework, ask very specific questions about the programs and amenities currently available, and get clear answers about what happens if someone is discharged unexpectedly. I went there looking for help. Being put out early in the morning with my belongings, knowing I had nowhere to go, was an experience I will not forget.

I had a great time throughout my recovery process here. All of the staff are very helpful, and I have a very strong desire to stay clean after leaving treatment. I appreciate all that they did for me. Bowling was fun… and outside meetings were awesome.

This is a great place to go if you are looking for recovery. I have done the program and really liked it. If I was to refer anyone to a addiction rehab, it would be this place for sure. 5 stars absolutely.

I just called to try to get my friend some help. A man names Brian answered the phone when I asked a question all I heard was silence. The phone didn’t hang up just silence. I called back 2 times and they would t even… answer the phone. That says a lot about this facility. Why even have a recovery facility and treat ppl that way. I can only imagine what the patients that are there go through.

Horrible place for recovery. Great place to make new friends, connections for the outside world. Drugs/alcohol/ contraband being snuck in during weekend visitations with loved ones. When I arrived there I was on one… medication, was told by all of the other patients that they would hook me up and get me on Xanax etc… Also medication distribution is a joke there. They don’t watch you, everyone literally dumps the pills right out of the med cup into their hands and pretend to take them then they walk right outside and everyone starts trading medicine for what they would rather have that day. Also 9 times out of 10 they go back to the bunkhouses and crush up the pills to snort them. You’re not required to be part of group meetings or anything that might actually set you up for a path of success in recovery, you’re only required to be present so they can collect their $180/day off of you from insurance (typically SoonerCare). The food is very questionable as to if it would even pass health codes violations, the establishment is very dirty, the staff is a joke besides one individual named Brian which I believe is actually there to benefit the patients and to help guide them towards a better path but I truly believe out of all the staff members he is the only good one. All the other patients there agreed with that assumption when I was there and mentioned that. I should have left the moment I was dropped off and the county sheriffs showed up 5 minutes later and arrested 3 of the 7 staff members. Which they then told me to just go wander around and familiarize myself with the place that we would finish my intake later. (That was almost a week later after I got sick with COVID and decided to go home) now all the sudden they wanted to finish 3 hours worth of intake paperwork and processes. They also called my family back without me present after I already spoke to them and told them to just wait another day before they come get me maybe they can get me feeling better and change my mind. Meanwhile they told me just quarantine to my room they would let me know when my family is there to get me. Not that they called them back to tell them to wait another day so they can collect another $180.. Again this place is a joke for anyone who actually is seeking recovery. I would say this place is the exact opposite of what addicts who seriously want sobriety are looking for.

I can't say enough about this place.... It LITERALLY saved my life. I went to Clay Crossing with no desire to wake up every day. I would go as far as to pray it didn't happen. After driving Kerry Bruce crazy for a week… and her telling me "just get here" I finally got in the car and went.... the BEST decision I have ever made in my life!! Gave my life back over to GOD and finally let Him be in charge because my way was NOT working out! Kerry went into "momma bear" mode and welcomed me with open arms! Many people tried to get me to change my mind and go somewhere closer or cheaper, I just felt led to be at Clay Crossing! God knew where I needed to be and He made it possible for me to commit the 90 days! I thank the Lord I didn't leave at 30 or 60....or even 87.... If you make the decision to get help THIS is the place to go!!

I was at clay Crossing for 90 days in 2018. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back on track. Although the facilities are dated the program of recovery was outstanding. The staff was excellent and assured I had… every opportunity to work my program. While at Clay Crossing, I got both group and one one one counselling, was provided with the opportunity to be exposed to many different programs and meetings and had an amazing group of men to recover with. I continue to stay in touch with the staff and some of the guys I went through the treatment program with. When i got to Clay Crossing I was totally broken. Today I am 21 months sober and have a program of recovery that I work every day. I have restored relationships with my family and have had a very successful reentry into the workforce. I can't thank the staff at Clay Crossing enough for giving me the tools I needed to live life.
