Clínica Horizonte – Sintra

I lasted two weeks and went back home. It's an extremely toxic lie. There wasn't a single trace of healthy therapy during those two weeks. Luckily, I was able to escape that toxic environment, full of contradictions, a… thousand senseless rules, and devoid of empathy. I threw away 3,500 euros for those two weeks of mistreatment and left worse off and more disappointed than when I arrived. Before putting yourself in the hands of completely incompetent people, find out exactly what it's all about. They foster an atmosphere of gossip and submission. The ones who do the work of maintaining the clinic are the patients themselves, both in the rigorous cleaning at seven in the morning (disguised as "therapeutic tasks") and in the evaluation of their own experience as addicts.

When I arrived at this center, it wasn't my first therapy, but this one was the right one. It completely changed my life. And when I say changed my life, I mean it on every level. Today, I can live without the obsession… with substance use, rediscover genuine interactions with my family and friends, be more serious and stable in my daily life and at work, take care of myself, play sports… and so much more. I can only thank the entire team at the Horizonte Clinic for teaching me how to live life to the fullest, like any other human being in society.

An excellent place for honest recovery, accompanied by excellent therapists.

Due to the need for treatment for a family member, I sought a Treatment Center that combined quality facilities with high-quality treatment. Influenced by the website, my choice fell on this center, which ultimately… does not meet either criterion. The facilities leave much to be desired, and the therapies are highly questionable. I do not recommend it.

It's not a piece of cake, but if we want to live healthily, I recommend it; they have a good team, we went in exhausted and came out alive, thank you….
