About Crossroads Behavioral Health Services – Creston

Crossroads Behavioral Health Services operates from 210 Russell Street in Creston. The site sits in Union County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Greenfield. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

SAMHSA ListedSAMHSAListedThe facility appears in the federal treatment locator maintained by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. It is a record that the facility exists and reports its services, not an assessment of quality.
State Licensed RehabState AuthorityLicensedHolds a current licence from the state authority that regulates treatment providers. Licensing is a legal requirement to operate, not a mark of distinction.

Treatment Services at Crossroads Behavioral Health Services

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

I really appreciate how kind and courteous everyone is. It took a while to get an initial appointment to see a new psychiatrist and therapist when I first moved to the area, but there is such a nationwide shortage of… mental health workers, it's totally understandable. I now have a therapist I see twice a week, a psychiatrist I see once a month, an IHH caseworker, AND a peer support counselor all in one place! Plus, they offer telehealth, making it convenient for people like me who can't drive and have limited access to transportation.

Very helpful, the therapists here are professional and easy to talk to! They've helped me through a lot, if I have troubles in the future I'm definitely coming back

Worst place possible to seek help! You are better off just staying home in your room by yourself!!

Great experience while I was there. A year after my last appointment they started to send me bills for services that I didn't receive. I disputed them, and now they've sent me to collections. The incompetence and… audacity is full blown in their billing department.
