Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems – Allentown

These people that work here I was told by Julie Comins that they make fun of who have mental health issues. I would not have these people as ICM workers.

I had my brother post reviews on these people earlier. DO NOT go to their Kennett facility.

I've been with Holcomb since May 23 2023. I have all services (ICM therapy and medication management) very good with matching me with the staff that's been helping me get my life on track. Scheduling is never an issue… for any service. I feel heard and understood. The only thing I wish they had was a trauma therapy so I could have my daughter receive amazing care like I do. Shout-out to Alyssa, my ICM, Dan, my therapist and Charlene my Dr!

I have been working with the company and the same ICM, Alyssa, for over a year for sure maybe almost 2. I don’t have any complaints. If I need her in a crisis I send a text or call the after hours number for help.… During our time together we work on the necessary things to help me better function in every day life with friends family, social situations…. And so many other ways where I may need the help. I am very greatful for the service that Holcomb Behavioral Health has been able to provide me with. I can’t expect them to do everything for me either so I do make lists of things for us to go over just so I don’t forget. Over all I’m super appreciative!

Bottom of the Barrel. Their main doctor seemed to panic because I smoked Marijuana amd Cut Off My Anxiety medication abruptly which caused horrible withdrawal. I was told to just deal with it and go to an emergency room… if needed. Unacceptable.

I will be sharing the details with evidence shortly. This place does not care if you are immunocompromised they refuse to do intensive in home case management remotely. They do not care if you are being abused and might… be evicted or abused. They wont help with landlord tenant conflict. They advise you to do stuff that doesnt even help. They refuse to tell me how to report them which is illegal. They refuse to do things within their scope and they dont even seem to comprehend basic text messages. The place is a mess they do not care if you are going to be illegally evicted. More to come with evidence I am off to figure out how to report them. Sadly most places here you have to report them to the highest people to get them to do their jobs and that is freaking sad!

If I could give zero I would. The intake process was great I thought finally my son is going to get the help he wants, and be herd. The case manager was horrible! She was dismissive, rude, thought very highly of herself… and kept reminding us she was the one that went to school, she was the one the degree. We had a meeting at my son's middle school where even the teacher shook her head my son characteristics of adhd....she said nope just anxiety. Going to look somewhere else where we can be truly herd not dismissed

They are horrendous. They don't work with single working parents. They expect one to come 30 min before the actual appointments. And if you are a little late, ypu won't be seen. It's crazy. Let's hope they won't be late… for their medical appointments cause Kharma might happen. Now I have to deal with an ADHD teen without meds. Thank you, Holcomb for being so understanding of a hardworking divorced mother, who doesn't live in a 2 parent household with 2 cars. Unreal.

We have been having a great experience here. My child has had 5 psychiatrists and Dr Burman surpasses them all. He was great with my child, and talks to and with his patients, not "at" them. He is also open to reducing… medications to only the level the patient truly needs. Furthermore, the medical assistant Ashley was of immense help to me with a medication error that was likely my own fault, she went above her duties to fulfill my request and was very efficient. I'm thinking we will continue to have a positive experience here, unlike the other behavioral health systems we have tried.
