The Hope House changed my life forever. I’ve tried 4 other programs & I relapsed after everyone. What makes this place so great is its staff & the clinical groups they run. Its structure also helped me get into a… routine. Sobriety takes work & if you’re not ready to change this program will be tough. It’s life or death out there & this place will give you all the tools needed to change your life. Shout out to Anthwan, Mariane, Summer, Oz, Jennifer, Nolan, Alex, Dave, Harrison, Pat, & Carol!!!

I started hope house at 18 , I knew many people, I was 18 in the 90's just saying, my family donated, Mark is the best this program works, the only reason anyone would give a bad review is because nobody wants a change,… I highly recommend this program for anyone who wants it's and not court ordered unless you want change!

Awesome for hair & nails

The ladies here are really rude. I took my mom which is a senior citizen and as I’m holding my mom to walk inside one of them started yelling that they were busy and that they couldn’t take her. I told her that we… didn’t mind and that we could wait she yelled again no we’re busy. Then we walked out and I returned to let her know that that’s not the way to treat customers specially if we were willing to wait and pay for their best package She kept interrupting me while I talked. Very rude. My mom had been there before but mentioned that every time she goes she gets a really rough massage on her feet which causes her pain. I told her that pedicure should be relaxing not painful. Definitely not taking my mom back to this place and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Awesome program if you want it to be. It all depends on you. You're there to change yourself not to be changed!

This is honestly the best hair cut I’ve had in a while, noticeably the genuine attention to detail to every snippet of their process is beautifully considered by these Artists. My daughter and I both were pleased with… her new look and a better take on mine. They enjoy making people look beautiful and their best. I highly recommended this beauty shop and am extremely pleased mistook it for the larger one I thought was here (a few doors down, the vibe also is really great here). My favorite haircut in a long time, can’t wait to get another. Thanks ladies!

I wanted to donate to this organization. I called and the woman who answered was so rude. First she answered the phone by saying -what ! I asked if this was the hope house , in a non apologetic tone she said yes and… went silent. I said forget it I was going to donate to your organization i will find another organization to donate. .

This place and the staff are great. Its rehab, its not going to be fun any where you go, especially a medi cal FREE rehab. Anyone that complains about this place just isn't ready to do whatever it takes to get clean. I… used for 20+ years everyday and said I would never go to inpatient, I went to hope house and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Follow the rules and you'll be fine. I was discouraged to even go there with some reviews online, I tried so hard not to and to go some where else but I am so glad I came here and will be graduating their after care program to graduate "off the bench." Thank you to all staff, you guys are great! Especially Anthwan, he deserves a raise for sure!

Absolutely horrible staff on the phone. Called to inquire about making a therapy appointment since the therapist’s contact information was listed as this place and the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude and… hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation. He never explained this was a rehab center and not a counseling agency. Worst customer service experience and lack of professionalism. Do not recommend!!

Terrible, crazy place! I was there in March 2008, for about 10 weeks. While some of it is good and helpful, much is ridiculous. I went on to better programs. Doing well now and clean for 14+ years! Check out Phoenix… House for a much better program. TY! =^..^=

They refuse to make dr.'s appointments for you and they won't let you call anywhere until after business hours. If you take medications or are in bad health, this isn't the place for you.

Hope House is a structured program for people that are READY and open to change, not for people looking for a place to stay short term without having to do the hard work! Absorbing the education and tools provided… during this stay is crucial to recovery. The rules that are enforced are there for a reason but most clients (including those enabling family members) don't understand them. Fact is: rules need to be applied everywhere and Hope House is trying to keep a safe environment to be able to teach clients this life skill. Hope House offers an opportunity to heal, you can nitpick all you want, this generation is KNOWN for that, but you have to give credit where it's owned, this is an awesome program that's been around for over 40 years, the experience and passion to help people reach sobriety is there! Don't blame them for you throwing in the towel!
