Lifeways – Ontario Photos and Images

No photographs have been provided for Lifeways – Ontario. Pictures tell you a great deal about a program, so request images of the entrance, treatment rooms and shared spaces before you commit.

Ask about parking, the nearest stop on Ontario transit, and what happens when you arrive. Providers who welcome questions about the physical setting tend to be straightforward about everything else too.

Lifeways – Ontario Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded provision at Lifeways – Ontario covers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and residential inpatient. These levels differ in structure and intensity, and which one suits someone is decided through assessment rather than chosen from a list.

Residential care means staying on site, which suits people who need distance from their usual surroundings. Approaches on record include addiction counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy and individual therapy. These are not applied uniformly, so ask specifically what the program you are considering uses.

Ignorant hypocrites. I am a mental patient that cannot take psych meds. I have DNA test results proving this fact. I het nothing but nasty side effects. Micro dosing Marijuana is the only thing that helps. I want… treatment for alcohol. Oregon is a medical Marijuana state. But they refuse me treatment because medical Marijuana is contraband. But if I was prescribed any other medication they would admit me. Its like the bullshit that you need an identification to buy tobacco, alcohol or get on a plane, douche-acrats say needing an ID to vote is NOT necessary. You are all HYPOCRITES.

I've never been to a more unprofessional "counseling" office. They are dismissive, judgemental and downright condescending. If these people have become that jaded in this line of work, they honestly need to rethink… their careers. They are supposed to be here to to help people, not make clients or family of clients feel as if they are a burden. I witnessed a younger man say hello and try to start a conversation with one of the workers and she responded with a hello and once she went through the door near the receptionists she started shaking her head side to side as well as the younger guy that was working near the back. This is not the first time I've witnessed this type of thing here. The previous time i was here, one of the receptionists started talking badly about a client as soon as the client left the building saying "that guy creeps me out every time he is in here, mind you this guy was nothing but nice and cordial with them the whole time, that is not all she said but I think you get the idea. There is a reason i canceled my appointments to come back here.

I felt like my concerns were not heard. They kept me for 3 extra days because of my blood pressure being high. I repeated to every clinician that it was high because I could not sleep. They had to put me on higher doses… of meds than I had ever been on previously for any hypertension concerns. My requests to keep the door open at night to avoid the slamming of the door every 15 minutes was neglected, the flashlight in my eyes, even removing of the blanket covering my eyes while trying to sleep.... It was inhumane. Most of the staff was nice, but when you there to try to get back on your feet, there are certain things that should be considered, and I have worked in healthcare for almost a decade, so it was disappointing to be treated like I was.

I have been going to Lifeways for five years now and they have helped me so much! Maggie is the nurse there but she also sees clients out in the community. She is absolutely wonderful! She has been so helpful to me and… extremely supportive. And she is the nicest woman. I just love her! She is always on time and she is always very friendly and she has taught me so many things and she has encouraged me in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very compassionate caring woman that helps with all kinds of things. And I want to thank her so much for being there for me all these years! And I will continue to see her for as long as possible. I’m so thankful I have her help! I honestly don’t know where I would be mentally without her. And I enjoy our time together so much. She really is a woman who knows a lot about helping people and supporting people and truly being there for people. I’m forever thankful for her!

The most disorganized, worthless clinic. They owe me $50 in gas money for wasting my time and fuel for an appointment they neglected to inform me was cancelled. Drove 2 hours one way for a scheduled appointment that was… a new one after they already messed up the first scheduled appointment by setting me up with the wrong person!!!! I will never be back and I hope I ward off others from this place. Horrible experience.

i’m not sure why this place has bad reviews. from my pov i have a wonderful therapist who i enjoy talking to. there are a few rotten eggs within the system, but all i had to do was call and asked to be switched to a… different person. this place has saved my life and i’m so grateful for it. 🩷

This is a fake clinic. The staff always lie to me. I went to this facility to treat my anxiety and depression but now I have more anxiety and depression because of their treatment.

Only had to deal with this place for a program, and I am glad it's over. If it was possible to give a zero rating, I definitely would. In November a program was completed with excess funds on the account. When I called… a few weeks after completion I was told that there was a $30 credit and a check would be issued within 2 weeks. A few more weeks went by and nothing. So I called again to check the status and was told that the credit was now $15 and a check would be sent within 2 weeks. So here we are 2 months after completion and still no check. I called again today to see what was going on since I have called previously and had to leave voicemails (and not received a call back), and I was told there is no check to send. I explained to the women I spoke to that I would like to actually talk to someone since I never get a call back, and I was transferred to a woman named Suzanne. I highly doubt I'll get a call back so I will have to take time out of my day as a student to call again until I can get my questions answered. How did the credit on the account go from $30 to $15 to $0 without any explanation? What did you guys do with my money? Why wasn't the check sent initially in November when I was told that it would be? I would like to know what's going on behind the scenes here, and why people are being lied to by employees here.

I have a disabled adult daughter and could not be happier with the services. At first it was questionable. However the more involved I got the more involved everyone got. We love the Peer center. She stays active and I… get a break.

Lifeways is such a wonderful and amazing place as well as an exceptional community partner. The entire place is packed full of unbelievably kind and compassionate people. Literally every single Lifeways employee is… extremely professional, ethical, well educated and masterful at what they do! I love Lifeways and I feel so fortunate to have them in my life and our community! The world could certainly use a lot more people and facilities like this. My only wish is that there were something I could do to truly support them or assist in some way. They take on such a heavy load trying to help people and everyone gives of themselves a great deal. I cannot imagine how challenging it must feel at times. If you ever encounter a Lifeways employee please let them know you truly appreciate their hard work and sacrifice for our community! ❤️ Thank You Lifeways!!

This place lies as my boyfriend goes to rehab there I was told that the men have no contact with a woman well they decided to get into our relationship because they thought I was using which I wasn't and since my… boyfriend was clean they decided to tell me that I am not no longer allowed to go up there and then when I go to an AA meeting to meet up with him cuz we're allowed to do that there is a girl rubbing up on him and they're talking now no contact they should be on the same page as us but should not do that because now after 3 years of being together he wants to leave me and he wants to hang out with the other girl now I believe that if you're going to tell the significant other something you should go buy that instead of not being on the same page as the other ones but now my three-year-old relationship is down the drain and I miss him and love him very much and I don't know what to do so if you all could help me as a community and tell me what to do that would be great because of it

This place is an absolute JOKE. It isn't even worth one star. I am trying to get help for a family member. Nobody will answer the phone. Nobody will return messages. I cannot believe they are even open. Some "help" they… are. Management needs to step it up because they are absolutely WORTHLESS. Do not waste your time.
