I went to Pavillon 7 years ago and have been sober since. I had such an amazing experience here and it still holds a special place in my heart. I am grateful to the counselors and staff here. One of the best addiction… treatment facilities in North Carolina.

It's A hassle wanting treatment at places who doesn't accept my type of insurance. It's sad actually, that it's cheaper to stay on Drugs. This is a fluke

Pavillon didn’t just bring sobriety into my life, it planted the roots of spirituality and quality recovery that sustain me today. The staff’s expertise, the level of care, the natural surroundings, and the hope they… inspire are second to none. Pavillon gave me my life back, and I will be forever grateful.

My nephew went through the program 18months ago. He is still mired in his PTSD and addiction to alcohol. I was the contact person for him. I found communication to be difficult. Activities that might have helped him… were not available. I didn't feel that the counselors were engaged. I will say that he probably didn't really internalize what was offered. He just went to please us. I have two friends who went to Pavillion who are now sober for years. So I was hopeful. I will say the food was great and his health really improved temporarily. Not much follow up after he left.

Pavillon is an excellent treatment program. I am a treatment professional in Charlotte and have referred many people there over the last 30 years. They provide strong services and prepare their patients well for a life… of sobriety. I can wholeheartedly recommend Pavillon without reservation.

My son was a resident during the fall. He tells us positive stories about his experience there. The small group meetings were very helpful but the talk between the residents was even more so. He learned so much from not… only the counselors but from the other residents. He is using the tips and strategies that he was taught during therapy while on the outside! If anyone is considering taking the next step, Pavillon would be my recommendation!! Thanks for giving me the best Christmas gift, my son back!!

i am grateful for pavillon. i went in there with an unmanageable life, messy, and i had put a pause on my business. i left there with a clear idea of the direction i was planning to go in. i did not feel pressured at… all to follow a path that was not for me, though i was gently guided to live in a sober living home, which is fair, it was accepted when i decided to move back into my old environment due to personal reasons. it’s hard to believe i’m in the same location, because it’s so different now! i’m thriving. i got a new job, my business is back up and running, and i go to meetings many times a week. i left pavillon with a therapist in my area, a psychiatrist, and a set plan. i never thought i’d be able to handle the lifestyle im living right now, but it’s only possible due to my sobriety. and i would not be sober without pavillon. i also met the most amazing women at pavillon. men and women who attend pavillon aren’t allowed to conversate, which i’m grateful for. it helped me keep my eye on the prize. my favorite memory is when we went hiking in the mountains. we only went once, i wish we could have done it more! we got to see a beautiful waterfall. i don’t get to hike where i live and this was so fun for me! when i was there, i have attention issues, so it was difficult for me to sit through groups everyday. but i understand the point of it now. the idea that we MUST stay sober to live a productive life has been so deeply engrained in my head due to pavillon. and because i know this 100%, i’ve been able to stay sober for ~5 months already. this is the longest i’ve gone in so long! and my life has improved drastically because of it! the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are clean. and the food is DELICIOUS! and i didn’t even gain weight while i was there because of the magnificent gym! i got to live in luxury while recovering, it felt like a dream. if i ever need to, hopefully i do not though (lol), i wouldn’t go anywhere other than pavillon. thank you so much for everything you’ve done.

Pavillon is one of the MOST trusted treatment centers I've ever come across for addiction recovery in the mental health industry! I've never been so blown away by the care of their clinical team. I highly recommend them… for anyone looking for inpatient, residential care for someone looking to heal from their substance use addiction!

Since its founding over 30 years ago, Pavillon has maintained an outstanding commitment to excellence and whole-soul, whole-family recovery from substance abuse. I was a patient in the residential program in 2007, and… have been serenely and perfectly sober since then. Pavillon saved my life. I served as an Officer of the Board of Directors from 2010 through 2024, so I fully understand the genuine commitment of Board and management, the vast differences among recovery centers and methods, and the difficulty of maintaining such a high standard of excellence in this very competitive field. The beautiful "country" location in the Blue Ridge foothills is highly conducive to the peace and detachment necessary for solid recovery training, and Pavillon's devotion to the spiritual nature of recovery sets it apart from most centers. As with all other top-ranked recovery centers, Pavillon's residential program is not inexpensive, but it is price-competitive, and a generous "scholarship" program is available. Highly recommended.

Lied to about treatment duration. HIPPA rights violated in a lecture when “presenter” called me “an anti-vaxxer which she learned at intake”. Then, sent home today without medications.

Live or die, that was my choice. I chose to live and to enter Pavillon for help in 2010. I can honestly say that it was the best and most important decision I have ever made because Pavillon was instrumental in saving… my life. I attended the primary and extended care programs. The staff's knowledge of addiction, experience, sincerity and personal care built trust, hope and faith. Leaving Pavillon with a plan designed to further my recovery was a tremendous help. Pavillon's alumni resources are invaluable. Meetings, workshops and opportunities for service are just a few. I will be eternally grateful to the staff at Pavillon and their mission for helping to keep me sober for more than 14 years.
