Rawhide Inc – New London

Rawhide continually shapes the lives of the people they serve! Highly recommend considering this organization for youth counseling or residential services in New London, WI.

What kind of "policy" is this?! I've purchased from this organization before (in 2022) and for whatever reason they just banned me from bidding on a car and then do not answer request for reinstating my bid at all! They… had ZERO ISSUES taking my money then, so what changed? I suspect a cheap and lazy employee got it in their head that if a person's profile is private, or they don't make a ton of purchases they'll remove that persons bid and ban them from bidding on anything... they probably think it's protection from scammers but in reality you're just losing more local, Wisconsin business because you didn't just lose mine now for good, but anyone who I have or would have recommended will be turned away from Rawhide completely. Their new eBay "policy" is not listed when you click to place a bid, isn't listed their store page and very hidden inside listed items, so BEWARE if you decide to bid on anything they offer!

My son is there right now. He called me a couple days ago and told me a staff member grabbed him by the throat. I emailed my sons point of contact there about it and still have not gotten a response back.

My cousin was completely traumatized from his experience here I highly wouldn’t recommend for anyone who needs extra help mentally because of things they cannot control.

I was placed at Rawhide in 1972, for the summer camp program. I came away a changed youth. I returned to my hometown, and the high-school I had attended. It took a lot of work on my part, as well as the Lord's guidance,… but I did graduate with my class. I know in the years since I was there, I had stumbled a few times, but the Lord with his grace, continues to bless me. Jan, John, Bart and Cherrie, saved my life! The way I was headed, I was sure to be in prison before long. I was able to return the life changing help later on in life, by serving on the board of directors for 12 years.

This is the absolutely the best possible charitable positive place to contribute to which make a real difference in youth futures for life!

The donation process of my truck was seamless, and the pick up was very professional. Would highly recommend others to consider Rawhide when donating a vehicle.

My donation of a ranger pickup truck was a long time ago. However, the donation was a great experience. While it didn't really help me tax wise, I felt good about giving a decent vehicle to Rawhide. Hopefully some… youths gain great work experience and Rawhide makes some $$$ off my donation. They made it easy. They sent me the paperwork, they sent a flat bed truck, the loaded my purple people eater, and away it went. Easy Peasy.
