If you are looking to start your recovery journey True North Recovery is the place to go! From the moment I walked into TNR I was greeted and treated like I MATTER. The staff went above and beyond with helping my BFF… and I get into their outpatient program and answering all of our questions with kindness, patience, dedication, and compassion. I knew I made the right choice once I started the OP program, I again was amazed at the care I was given. I spent 14 months at another facility for residential treatment and I wish I would have chose TNR from the start but I AM so glad I chose TNR for my outpatient treatment, BEST decision I ever made next to GOD and choosing Recovery! I hardly write reviews but If you are looking into treatment TRUE NORTH RECOVERY will treat you like a human being and care for you in ways that will tug on your heart strings and walk with you every step of your treatment journey! I could keep going with how wonderful TNR is but I think you should see for yourself, You'll thank me later! Thank You TNR!!

Detoxing is not a easy step and can take more than one time the first time I was there I couldn't of asked for anything better the Detoxing was a little ruff the first day after that they made it it very easy. I had… medical issues and was in a lot of pain and relapsed so I had to go back a 2nd time and I couldn't believe how much it changed and the way I was treated by the medical staff after 4 days I was still hallucinating so sick I couldn't get out of bed and when I did I asked for help by the medical staff was told that it will pass I just couldn't take it anymore and left. I spoke with family and friends and they begged me to plz give it another chance and promise to see it through and I knew I had to do it or am going to die from my addiction promised to see it through so I called and was told I was put on the waiting list there beds were full so I kept checking in for almost a week and then was told by the medical staff that they would not expect me to go somewhere else. Everyone else who works there are wonderful people and really care about your recovery 💯 % but for the medical staff to lead me on for almost a week thinking that a bed was going to open up for me only then to tell me they will not except and to go find someone else who will except me after waiting and checking in for almost a week. Me and my family and friends couldn't have been more disappointed in their conduct and treatment of myself in need of help. Everything and everyone is 💯 % great and thank you for your help your the best

Wasilla and Fairbanks offices are amazing people who really care for peoples well being. Great food. Great spot for a new start who introduce you to a better crowd of people. Classy

The lady Ashley who takes care of the scheduling for assessments obviously can't even do that part other job right because I missed my assessment for true north because of Ashley scheduling me the day before the actual… day of my assessment and I still have a voicemail from her stating that she messed up and then she emails me and puts the blame on me telling me that if I wouldn't have missed my assessment on the so called date that "I was supposed to get told correctly and didn't" if would have been present I would not have to get pushed back in line on the list for assessments. I think I got completely screwed out of it and it was not right and completely unprofessional of her to treat me or anyone like that.. it's not right but it is what it is. I wouldn't comment if I wasn't so upset. Thanks for not helping when needed!
