About WHOS Hub Nambour – Nambour
WHOS Hub Nambour is a shopfront day programme on the Sunshine Coast, run by WHOS for adults aged 18 and over. The hub supports anyone preparing for treatment at WHOS Najara, continuing afterwards, or unable to take up a place there, and attendance is free.
Groups run on a rotating six-week cycle covering alcohol and other drug education, relapse prevention, life skills, wellness and harm reduction. Around that sit assessment, case management, self-help meetings, employment readiness and referrals to health, legal and welfare services, with breakfast and lunch provided. Referral is open: you can approach the hub yourself, or family, a friend or a health professional can make contact on your behalf. Assessment is free, by phone or in person, on 07 5294 6440 or 07 5476 0877.

WHOS Hub Nambour Alcohol and Drug Services
WHOS Hub Nambour runs a day programme, assessment and aftercare rather than a treatment stay. The six-week group cycle covers alcohol and other drug education, relapse prevention, life skills, wellness and harm reduction, backed by individual counselling, group therapy, case management and vocational support.
Intake assessment is part of what the hub offers in its own right, including pre-admission assessment for WHOS Najara and pre-treatment support while a place is arranged. Self-help meetings, employment readiness work and referrals into health, legal and welfare services broaden the picture, and interpreters can be arranged. WHOS lists accreditation with ACHS and certified therapeutic community membership with ATCA. Medical staffing and prescribed medication are not listed for the Nambour hub.

How Much Does Treatment at WHOS Hub Nambour Cost?
WHOS Hub Nambour is free. Government funding covers the six-week group cycle, assessment, case management, employment readiness work and the referrals the team makes, and breakfast and lunch are provided on programme days, so attending costs nothing beyond getting yourself there each day.
Assessment, including pre-admission assessment for WHOS Najara, is also free. Private pay rates, private health insurance, Centrelink deductions, NDIS and WorkCover are not listed for the hub. Since the shopfront sits opposite Nambour Station, travel is cheap for anyone on the rail line, and the team can confirm what else is covered when you call.

WHOS Hub Nambour Reviews
Reviews of WHOS Hub Nambour from around the web are limited, which is usual for a small day service attached to a larger treatment organisation. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for the Nambour hub, and anyone who has attended the group cycle is welcome to share their experience.
Online comment about WHOS tends to describe the organisation broadly rather than this shopfront. What would help someone deciding whether to walk in is practical: how welcoming the hub felt on a first visit, whether the six-week cycle worked as preparation for a longer programme, how useful the employment readiness sessions were, and whether the meals and the drop-in atmosphere made it easier to keep turning up.
