About YWCA Outpatient – Fort Dodge

YWCA Outpatient operates from 148 North 9th Street in Fort Dodge. The site sits in Webster County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Coalville, Humboldt and Otho. Iowa draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at YWCA Outpatient

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

YWCA Outpatient Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 148 North 9th Street, Fort Dodge, IA 50501, in Webster County. The catchment reaches Coalville, Humboldt and Otho. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Pitiful. My wife was there and we noth left the area. She had no valid id and they were threatening her bed because she couldn't get a job and forced her to walk on an injured foot. Then tried to guilt her into staying… longer saying oh you're going to risk you're sobriety and relapse. They also never gave her some of my messages and refused to tell me when she went to the ER. If you want to get clean, sober, etc. They also decided to pick up the phone on the middle of a voice mail of me questioning why they threw away her ice pack for her injured fooy and hung up immediately! GO TO CFR DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! It's really sad when recovering addicts are my generous and caring then the so called " heroes " that work there. Infact all donations and funding should stop. Ill be contacting legal services and idc what papers signed said what. Yall take advantage of people in desperate situations. God will not let that go un noticed. Just know im in the middle of a legal battle and if I win not only am I buying you out I'll fire everyone of you simply because i don't like you.

My wife has cravings and they claim they are a Christian based recovery center. We have absolutely no where to go and to say shes not goodnight for help its pathetic and its a violation of their terms helping addicts… recover this place is so disgustingly bad. They don't care about actually helping if they did they wouldn't turn any addict away trying to get away from cravings. God said if you help those in need like feed, shelter, clothe, etc then its like youre helping christ. Well she just denied her help. What's that say about these people?

I am truly grateful for the YWCA! I went in angry but left with my life back together and had my babies back in my custody. If your looking for help, please try this place. Put the fear aside and walk through them… doors, give it a couple weeks to get well adjusted and you will start gaining back everything you've lost, while you were lost...go find yourself again and be proud of who you are because you are worth it. ❤️
