How Much Does Treatment at Sierra Tucson Cost?
Private-pay rehab in Arizona usually runs $1,750 to $5,600 a week for detox, $6,000 to $25,000 a month for residential or inpatient care and $1,500 to $5,000 a month for outpatient treatment. Sierra Tucson’s own fees are not disclosed on its website, so these are typical Arizona costs, not its prices or a quote.
Fees would most likely include the intake assessment, group therapy, individual counseling, accommodation and meals, and medical monitoring during detox. The website states that integrative therapy packages are sold separately, and specialized therapies, medication and lab tests may also cost extra. This is otherwise an unstated expectation, so take the figure to Sierra Tucson and ask what it excludes. Accepted plans include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, Optum, UnitedHealthcare and TriWest, but not Medicare or Medicaid.

Sierra Tucson Reviews
Families comparing a residential program usually find plenty of promises and very little lived detail. An account from inside Sierra Tucson is more use to the next reader than anything written about it. What is advertised is treatment plans are built from a comprehensive assessment rather than fixed programs, with a separate unit for veterans and first responders, and only a former patient can confirm it.
Reviews of this Tucson facility are open to veterans and serving personnel, spouses and family and VA and TriWest case managers. If you can, describe what the first few days of detox were like, what the daily routine involved and how long the wait for a first appointment was. There is no expected length and no expected verdict.
