Shellby is wonderful. The front office ladies are nice. I appreciate the white noise speakers for privacy.
They helped me and answered my questions. To set me into the right class. So I'm happy with the service.
Cancelled services. I enjoyed going to this facility until I felt like another number today. I was coming from work and asked the front to make a note in my chart that I would be coming from work. I called and was… letting them know as well. The front transferred me to the back (Not going to say the name because I am respectful). Was told appointments run every 20 minutes, and that I have until 12:10 pm. I ended up speeding through traffic to make it and I sure did. Was then told they would not give me the appointment. Yes I apologize for being flustered, but this is not good patient care. This has happened a few times, and I have rescheduled. If people are coming from work and they are letting you know in advance, there should be a leeway time given. That I can understand. To tell me if I make it by 12:10 pm and I do and denied the appointment, yes that is crap, and was done on purpose. I understand we all have bad days. Please stop making good patients like me feel as if we are just another number. I am self pay and these appointments are not cheap. When you are working it can be hard to attend appointments. I’m not returning unless I get an apology. I have worked in a mental health clinic, and the care was way better. Please get it together Southwest.
People who need help need to show up at 8 am and stand in line for a first come, first serve service. Like cattle.
Everyone is so helpfull and nice.
Not only was my appointment at 10:20am but everyone that got here before us was already seen and someone else just got here and they took him in mind you it’s now 11:40 and still nothing why overbook! Do better with… scheduling!
First I have to say Vickie, Kimberly and Destini are wonderful ! Second…. The front desk people every time I come in are very very rude ! I almost pulled my child to go to MMH but they love their therapist and the other… two I mentioned so I won’t do that to them. We have been in several times and the front desk experience is always extremely unwelcoming. I also have anxiety and the way they treat us is so triggering and I start to dread appointments. For a mental health place the front desk people sure don’t make it feel inclusive and welcoming. I’ve put off reviewing for a while because who knows if it even does any good but recently my friend who also brings their child there was very upset about their treatment too and I just couldn’t hold it in any longer.
Generic Answer Vicky is so sweet. Evelyn cares. I felt such a prejudice in their Doctor/Patient care. Jillian(DR). Several issues I expressed, and her response;(Did you)was generic, hurried.
I was first greeted and shown actual care by Vickie. She works at the front desk, and genuinely showed care and compassion when it came to getting my first appointment booked. She helped place me at a time that worked… best for me and didn't stop until she was able to. Every time I've gone in, she's been so kind and friendly, always saying hello. Having someone like Vickie at the front desk who actually cares about the people going there is irreplaceable. I was placed with Shellby, who is an amazing and talented therapist. She radiates a safe space and immediately made me feel comfortable. Shellby has never seemed judgemental or demeaning with anything I've brought up, and is so knowledgeable in the things she says. I don't think I would ever be able to replace her. Thank you both.
I've been with Southwest Behavioral for a long time and although they have a lot of problems right now they're doing pretty good Shelby one of the counselors is the greatest counselor I think I've had I've been with her… for quite a while and she's helped me a lot
South West has treated me real well. They have a lot of resources to help thier clients. The only problem I've had is the doctors with perscriptions.
I would like to say that Shelby has helped me out a lot mentally through the past year as I’ve had to go through a lot with my back injury and everything trying to just get back into a normal sense/type of lifestyle
I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here. At one of the lowest points in my life they saved me. Thank you!
Great staff and workers helped me a lot
I was afraid to ask for help. I’ve learned a lot since I’ve been a client at SBH. Vicki Miller is my RSS and she’s been a major help in my recovery. I wish Coping with Anxiety would come back. That class was really… helpful. I think other clients might benefit from it also. Everyone is great. Seriously. The staff make me feel like a person and not like a freak. My safe spot.
SouthWest behavioral has been such a big help and always helped me with multiple situations i had. Everyone is very helpful respectful and extremely nice.
Very positive
They came and picked up my brother so he can get his shot every month and didn't bring my brother back home. They took him to the homeless shelter and couldn't tell me when I went in there. So much for the help. Not… going there at all. Called the police cause and said my brother is missing cause they wouldn't tell me where my brother is at
