I tried rendering services from here I had called twice before initially showing up without any return calls to drop my physical paperwork from their intake forms you can print online when I sat in the receptionist area… they acted like they were allergic to me or something after I drop my physical paperwork on the receptionist desk because no one would come up to see if anyone was in the lobby I called the third time after I drop the paperwork never once did they try calling me back

I go here and see Bryce as my therapist. This place is amazing and has always done right by me. I started going here because I was having problems holding things together and after a year I am doing great and quite… stable. I couldn't have gotten to where I am without the professional and kind therapy

The absolute worst place to go. They never return phone calls or emails. If they do pick up (who am I kidding they dont) they are very rude and unprofessional. Dont waste your time or money.

Horrible experience. I attemptied twice last year and none of them took me seriously. The therapist Brian tried to turn everything around on me when he was 45 min late to an appointment. The reception yelled “She’s… Native American, not Mexican!” Across the waiting room. I had my last straw when the last person to help me said “what’s wrong with your face!?” When I had severe acne. Awful.

Dr. Wen Cai, M.D., Ph.D. and Dawn H., MSW are a priceless treatment team! If you have encountered treatment resistant Major Depressive Disorder, they are the people to go to! For more than a decade, I have worked with… countless healthcare providers to treat Major Depressive Disorder and other mental health challenges. Dr. Cai and Dawn have patiently worked with me to rehabilitate my "wellbeing" and build a better life. Working with Dawn Harward has been an opportunity for incredible therapeutic growth and she is wonderful at suggesting new directions and alternative solutions. Dr. Cai is the ONLY psychiatrist I have encountered who has been willing and caring enough to make bold and creative changes. He understands and tailors his approach to my unique needs and health concerns. I urge anyone seeking treatment to be patient and persistent. There are always obstacles and imperfections within the healthcare system. "Wellbeing" is not an overnight process; however, at the Wellbeing Institute if you have a genuine desire to change and are seeking help this is the place to go. Dr. Cai and Dawn are some of the best mental health physicians I have received care from and they are such a blessing. They have a genuine desire to help and their hearts are in the right place. It is very clear they do have their hands full and they are trying to help as many people as possible. I would highly recommend you keep this in mind and have patience with the process. If you need immediate assistance, I would recommend sending an e-mail and someone will call or e-mail you back within a reasonable timeframe. Thank you Dr. Cai, Dawn, Reggie, Tidi, Maria and Nichole, and ALL the very hardworking staff at the front desk. My life would not be the same without you.

Best experience for starting late in the game to take care of my mental health. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I feel supported on a path to finding myself. I have never had a male therapist before but Tidi honestly… is what I needed and more. He listens and offers true insight into finding solutions to things that I face in my day to day life. I have so much respect for him and the wellbeing institute. Thank you.

Wellbeing Institute has been a life changing and positive influence in my life since I started treatment 3 years ago. My therapist Tidi has been a God send. He is so kind, passionate about his work and intuitive to my… needs. Edith has done a phenomenal job stabilizing me with proper medication management and Dr Cai has always made himself available with consistent and thorough treatment reviews. I sincerely want to give them all 5 stars and I strongly recommend Wellbeing Institute to all seeking help.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I really enjoy the wellbeing institute. Bryce is an amazing therapist and works well with all of my kids, myself and my ex-husband, and I would give him 10 stars if possible. Dr. Lindsay Crandall listens to all… my concerns and is a very caring person and individual and I would give her 10 stars if it was possible. She is amazing when it comes to mine or my daughter's concerns about meds. And last but not least Dr. Cai is amazing also he listens and works very well with my family. I would recommend all of them and the office to anyone looking for a friendly place to get there mental health taken care of if need be..... 😀😃😄😁

Dr. ALHASSAN is awesome! I feel heard and listened to. Even though it may take me a minute or two to get my blood draw, I do feel a lot better about raising my dosage so that it is at a therapeutic level. Five stars.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Dr. Wen Cai changed my son’s life—and ours. At the Wellbeing Institute, Dr. Cai gave our son something we had been searching for over many painful years: hope, healing, and self-worth. Our son was born with… learning difficulties and suffered emotional, verbal, and even physical abuse in school. He carried deep childhood trauma that many professionals tried to help him with, but nothing truly worked—until we found Dr. Cai. Dr. Cai is an exceptional psychiatrist and human being. He listens with patience, treats with compassion, and gives generously of his time and expertise. His care goes far beyond medicine—he restores dignity, confidence, and belief in oneself. You can feel that he was born to do this work. It’s not about money for him—it’s about passion, purpose, and a heart full of kindness. Today, our son is stronger, more confident, and finally at peace with himself. And that’s all because of Dr. Cai.

I have nothing but good things to say about Wellbeing Institute. Dr. Cai has been just wonderful with my daughter’s care. Dr. Cai is sensitive to her needs. He expertly prescribes medications for my daughter and keeps… safety in mind. I love his approach! Annalyn Rasul is the NP that my daughter also sees each Saturday via Doxy. Annalyn is very kind, compassionate, and understanding. She’s very good at finding good combinations of meds to treat my daughter, who is beginning to make wonderful progress under her care. Last but definitely not least is her therapist, Bryce Paradis. My daughter sees him every week. It’s taken her time to begin to open up. He has made her feel that he is a safe person to talk to. Bryce is such a gentle, kindhearted person and I think he’s the perfect fit for her as she builds her self esteem. Today was the best session she’s had with him so far and I’m so grateful for his patience and care!

Update: dr. Cai was reprimanded by the AZ medical board and is on a two year probation. I'm done with this place, Dr Cai gaslights his patients, makes countless mistakes that he never owns up to, it always falls on his… staff and the patients. I came for a very simple thing and it became a source of stress that I didn't have before. Spare yourself the stress, inconvenience and frustration, find a different office!

They are not always super well organized or punctual, so take that as you will, but I have been seeing a variety of psychiatrists for a number of years, and THEY LISTEN. I've improved a lot under their care because it… seems they never received all or most of my records, but however that happened I am grateful for it, because I didn't come in with a thousand negative stigmas attached, and I've had a lot of issues regarding mental health treatments. I sincerely appreciate both Dr Al Hassan (who I believe is no longer there?) and Dr Engelman for their willingness to go beyond a 5 minute appointment of "we don't need to hear from you, we see what's on your papers". Treating the human rather than the diagnosis should not be a radical approach, but on AHCCCS it is... kudos for that! Non-judgmental care and one of the few places I feel didn't immediately make assumptions about me.

I am outraged !! While the services provided were satisfactory initially, there were significant issues that arose over time. Difficulty in Communication: Unfortunately, the institute has struggled with answering calls… promptly, which has resulted in inconvenient situations for me, including missing out on necessary medication refills. This lack of responsiveness endangered my health and well-being, as I had to endure withdrawals twice due to the inability to obtain my medication online. Decline in Quality of Care: Following the departure of Dr. Nicola, I noticed a decline in the quality of care during my appointments. The level of attention and expertise seemed to diminish, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall experience. High Session Fees: Additionally, the session fees are quite steep at $200 per session, especially considering that much of the time is spent asking routine questions about my well-being on a scale of 1-10.

I cannot believe the service at this facility. I work in Healthcare and they are pretty much neglecting my daughter. We were referred and scheduled quickly but they do not care to return my calls inquiring on the prior… auth the medication needs. My teen was seen several days ago and prior auth still hasn't been started. I feel robbed and I will be sure to report to the medical board. They push on you to use their pharmacy. Now I have to pay another high copay to see a new psych because of this joke of a facility. This was our first experience ever with a psych office and what a disappointment. I will be sure to inform our pediatrician where I work the level of neglect here so we do not refer to this location again. *They do not return calls *They pick and choose what to respond to on emails. *No e-prescribe *Push for you to use their pharmacy * Phone calls are never answered

Ok.. so I've been here for 5 yrs. Started out alright. I see a lot people complimenting Skiano & Nichola.. They're gone now( hence maybe sudden appt cancel) the(drs) leave because Dr Kia DOES NOT PAY ENOUGH! This is… reflected in all of the business. Front desk is awful, rude & wants to know your personal business (illegal) iop counselors always changing, bathrooms disgusting in fact the house/ buildingits in istself run down in general... He doesn't want to pay enough & does not appreciate good staff. Period. He's making a ton of $$$ running this Wellbeing.. he can pay great drs counselors to stick around. All in all if he got his house in order & paid properly it would be great. But that's not how it is... costsnt turnover which is bad for mentally health. Anyway try at your own risk..peace..

Awful experience. I was told I needed to do labs for my insurance, weekly, none of the labs were covered by my insurance and I received $2,000+ bill from just the first set (of 3). The office ensured me they would take… care of it within 24 hours, 3 weeks later and still no attempt from the office. I have emailed and called and gotten nowhere.
