I am shocked this place has such low reviews, SBCBH deserves a 10/10 review. Awesome staff nurses and doctors, I am truly grateful they have been such a breeze to work with!

I love San Benito County mental health building and people that work there. Everybody is so nice and helpful. Every time I need services there’s at least three people willing to serve you the doctors there are nice and… great and administer medication that will help you keep your brain tuned up . We take our cars for maintenance. Why not take our bodies for maintenance in our mind for maintenance , no, take your mind to the gym . ( aka Behavioral Health ) people go to the gym. We’re not do maintenance on your brain.

First question: does anyone at this establishment even read these reviews? My husband has been jacked around and around, moved from provider to provider, left without prescription refills. When someone already has bad… mental health issues, not providing clear communication and consistent services is an absolute disgrace as a human services establishment.

Told me that there are people that actually need therapy. She told me that when I was very depressed at the time. I was trying to see a therapist after I haven’t seen one in a while.

I was informed that my Dr ( that I had for many years) was not given a contract to renew.Starting July 1st he will not be my Dr. They do not realize its going to change many lives and not for the better. Dr.Fructer goes… above and beyond. I hope they know they are making a big mistake.

Initial intakes will tell prospective patients that there’s nothing they can do to help but provide a phone number for mental health services to reach out to independent of them. Second intakes will hear that a… prospective patient has pressing and urgent concerns and will inform them that SBC Behavioral Health can and will help, will claim that they will reach out in the following three weeks, and then not reach out for months. Any deaths or injuries related to mental health concerns after this organization fails to reach out to community members who have sought help are the result of this blatant neglect. Do better.

been trying to get help for about a year now, If anything all this place has taught me is that if you want help, they’ll just prescribe a bunch of medication as a quick fix. I requested a therapist since medication made… me feel WORSE. Saw a therapist twice and never saw her again. Have been trying to call, make appointments, etc. and just get told that I’m on a list. It’s been over 6 months!

I did substance abuse counseling with them for an entire year and paid about 1000 bucks. Later on I did another year with them and they charged me over 3000. .

I have never had a problem with this agency. Everyone is friendly and the doctor I see is good

This place is a joke. They do an intake and regardless of how specific and detailed you are they will not help. Apparently they only take "severe" cases which I am unsure what they consider severe but it seems to… require much more than what I am dealing with. They're not there to help you.

SUCH A JOKE! Their own computer system was down for 3 weeks! They had no way of providing any info. Then when it finally comes back up, they send out 10 day notices. Never even acknowledged the error, sent out apology… letters, extended grace, or accepted responsibility! It’s CYA documentation they think absolves them of any accountability. Like the other review said, they just want to make money at your expense! They are NOT in the business of actually wanting to help people. SHAME ON THEM!

They spent no more then 10 minutes with me and later I received a bill for 485. They should be ashamed. I would have never talked to them had I known they would charge me an arm and a leg for the 'services' they… provided, which was nothing. They are Greedy people who don't care abot anyone's mental health.
