I was a patient of Dr. Julio Landero, who owns this business. I had a bad experience, to be honest. I went to therapy as a court order and chose ABC Therapy for my one-on-one sessions. I had to complete 12 sessions, and… I was assigned to Dr. Julio Landero. At first, everything seemed fine. The doctor appeared to be a qualified professional, so I started my sessions because my main concern was fulfilling my obligations to the Las Vegas municipal court. The sessions with Dr. Landero were only 15 minutes long, even though they were supposed to be an hour each. I didn't care at the time; I just wanted to finish all my obligations. But as the sessions went on, there was still no structured plan, and all the sessions were only 15 or 20 minutes at most. I spent more time talking to the receptionist than to Dr. Julio Landero himself. During the sessions, he only asked me about my work life and very basic things. I told him everything, but beyond that, there was never anything professional. He always told me I was intelligent, and I never had any problems paying for the sessions on time, which cost $75 each. "Hour" but it was only 15 minutes, and when I finished the sessions, I was late for the first time paying the last two because I had financial problems, which he knew about. Anyway, I went to the last session and paid my entire balance because it seems they only care about money and not the patients' mental health. Before finishing the sessions, I had to take a drug test, which I did, and it came back negative for everything except THC. I used to use it and stopped by personal choice, but I have a medical marijuana patient card, which I told them from the beginning, and in fact, I didn't have any problems with it in court. The therapist knew about this from day one, and when it was my last session, he told me, "You tested positive for THC, and I can't let you go. You have to do some additional classes, and then I'll let you go." I was very worried because my last court date was coming up, and I had to have everything completed. Those extra classes cost an additional $200, plus another $75 for the exit, which was basically a survey about the sessions. Because I was having financial problems, I was worried since I couldn't afford them, and I told them I couldn't. They wanted me to take the classes that same weekend, and the therapist, Dr. Julio Landero, told me that if I didn't take those classes, he couldn't let me go. He said I would have problems in court and wouldn't be able to close my case successfully. I spoke directly with the court and my lawyer, and they told me that I had already fulfilled the court's requirements and was fine. If I did anything extra, it would be at my own expense. That's when I realized that Dr. Landero had lied to me, and it confirmed that these people are only interested in money. Once I discovered that, I refused to take the extra classes. According to Dr. Landero, he told me to take the classes and then take another test, and if it came back positive for THC again, he would help me and let me go. So I asked myself, what was the point of all that? The services provided by this doctor are very disappointing and unprofessional. The worst part is that during every therapy session, he kept asking me the same questions: if I had completed the other classes because the court had ordered additional classes, even though I had already taken them elsewhere. He kept asking to offer me those other classes, and I kept telling him I had done everything. This doctor seems to have no memory at all. He takes advantage of people who are struggling and worried. How many others has he lied to or pressured? I felt judged and pressured by this Dr. Landero. Honestly, he's worse than the court; even the court doesn't demand as much as this pseudo-Dr. Landero. And to top it all off, besides paying $1,000 for twelve 15-minute sessions, this doctor told me that he had forgiven me for the AA meetings I attended because I did them separately and for free. He wanted me to attend them there too, even though they are paid meetings, but that was just another one of his lies. Dr. Julio Landero, it's time to retire.

Julietta was an amazing counselor and made me feel very safe. Didn’t feel judged speaking my mind and stayed true to her word that what was said in those rooms stay in those room. Definitely would recommend

Counselor Julieta Zamora from ABC Therapy was a very good counselor. She helped me a lot to move forward and realize that alcohol is not good for my health, so I can avoid tragedies caused by alcohol. She also helped me… set a purpose in life and know that I can achieve many goals. Thank you!

Julieta is literally the most amazing counselor. She is understanding and relatable and non judgmental. She goes above and beyond for her clients in ways I haven’t experienced with other substance abuse counselors. I… would recommend anyone who is struggling with addiction, mental health etc to go and see her for help. She will make an impact in your life in ways you wouldn’t believe.

Thanks to Julieta Zamora-Alarcon for her positive and professional involvement in my therapy sessions. I felt safe and confident to share and participate each week. Julieta demonstrates a genuine care for her clients… and I witnessed that both with my interactions as well as with others in group sessions. She is a dedicated advocate for each person. Dr Julio Landero also participated in a session and I appreciated how he runs his clinic, very approachable and sincere. Do not recommend this place to anyone . Yesenia is very rude and unprofessional . Wish I would have read reviews before I came to this place , seems like they do anything and say anything for money

Julieta Zamora was definitely professional and has a positive impact on her clients, with her knowledge and dedication. Biggest takeaways were from her group sessions. And Yesenia Bautista makes the whole experience… very easy, she is approachable, answers any questions and makes you feel welcomed. Thank you, ladies.

My therapist Ms. Julieta is real shes down to earth and knows her shit. She takes her time to get to know each and every person In our group and really gets down to the bottom of what's wrong where we as addicts went… wrong and how to start our recovery and makes it a good and comfortable road to cruise down.

I went to ABC Therapy in an Urgent need of help. I was seen on the same day. I was in despair need. From the receptionist to the counselor. I was treated extremely well. Mrs.Landeros is professional and always willing… to help. I recommend ABC Therapy for your peace of mind. Thank you ABC Therapy.

Absolutely the best experience I’ve had in counseling. The counselors are so respectful and helpful. Just finished a court ordered 52 session run with this location and it was a great year and helped me so much. Highly… recommend for anyone who needs their services.

Do not recommend. They’ll take your money and report you to the courts for any little setback. Look elsewhere.

Had a good experience, everyone bery professional and fun

Had to take the domestic violence classes via court orders and was not too pleased about it. Now despite what some of these reviews are saying, I must give a shout out to Karla and Arnoldo whom were my DV counselor.… They are truly great people! Even though I was unhappy about having to take domestic violence classes to begin, doing it with them made my experience that much better. So thank you for that!

I had an awful experience at this place seeking psychological services. While I don't have any complaints about the front staff, the professional I spoke to had a very dry, uncaring attitude. She was quick to brush off… my concerns and at one time scoffed when I stumbled over my words for a moment, something I'm very insercure about. I got into my car feeling worse than dirt, which is obviously not what you want from a therapy appointment.

AVOID ABC THERAPY! They're a scam. They don't care about your mental health, they just want money. I was ordered by the court to have a substance abuse evaluation even though my charge had nothing to do with… drugs/alcohol. During my "evaluation" I stated that I don't do drugs and that I don't drink alcohol EVER. Which is 100% fact. Her response was to order me to go to meetings once every week, personal one-on-one therapy once a month, and subject to random urinalysis. FURTHERMORE, they tried to coerce me into sending the evaluation to the court 3 separate times, which I did not thanks to my attorney's advice. If they had sent it to the court, they would've had their way with me and right now I would be jumping through hoops that don't apply to me. All the while hemorrhaging money. If you are ordered by a court to undergo a substance abuse evaluation AVOID THIS PLACE.

I did a number ofl sessions and found the counselors very supportive and understanding. I worked primarily with Arnoldo and Karla. Therapy can be a tough undertaking but I found Arnoldo to be caring, smart, and… professional. Karla was very supportive as well and I want to thank them both for their hard work.

Absolutely wonderful staff with a dedication to listening to you. Highly recommend.
