Gaudenzia Inc – Baltimore Detox and Rehab Services

Gaudenzia Inc – Baltimore is recorded as offering detox and residential treatment. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Gaudenzia Inc – Baltimore Address, Location and Contact Information

Gaudenzia Inc – Baltimore is located at 4615 Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, 21215. This address falls in Baltimore City County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

How Much Does Treatment at Gaudenzia Inc – Baltimore Cost?

Rehab paid for privately in Maryland typically costs $1,750 to $5,600 for a week of medical detox and $7,000 to $30,000 a month for residential treatment. That is a guide only, as published prices for Gaudenzia Inc were not found at the time of writing.

Standard inclusions are accommodation, meals, medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. It is fair to assume Gaudenzia Inc works the same way, but that is an assumption. Ask the facility which therapies and medications cost extra.

NEVER COME HERE HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED They have kept my personal belongings hostage for over a week now i was here for 1 day immediately needed to leave when I did leave, apparently only one person has a key to the safe… where my items were being held then, they held other things in a storage room that they could have given to me without the safe so therefore they were being held for no reason tried to convince me to stay now apparently they don't know what i'm talking about. And can't find my items

It’s an ok program, had hard times from some staff… some want to genuinely help and a lot don’t …. Needs more staff who really want to help clients… Overall I’ve learned to never put myself in a position so that I won’t… have to come back and go through this again… I truly wanna thank Ms.Iona she really the only person who genuinely cares and helps those in need , she understands the clients and wants better for us !!! Thank you for this lesson and leaving here is a blessing… 💯‼️

This place has changed my life tremendously in more ways than one. It has taught me lots of coping skills to take with me when I leave. It saved my life with the help of my Higher Power.

The staff was stern but fair and genuine. I really learned a lot about myself and my recovery with the help of the counselors and the staff as well. I strongly urge anyone who wants to start their journey to recovery to… come to Gaudenzia.

I've called and left several messages with this Organization, the Park Heights location. They've refused to return personal items that I purchased for my niece during her stay. Bad things happened there and she packed… her things and left leaving her bags. She returned 2 days later on 11/14 and all her belongings that I bought were gone. I'm reporting this to all appropriate authorities. How they are treating their patients. I bought these items on 11/10

I stayed here for the Detox program after almost two years of a struggle with alcohol. Like many, I’ve been through a lot and I found myself in a place where getting away from my real feelings and emotions with alcohol… was better than facing them sober. I have two young girls and unfortunately they, family members and friends have seen sides of me I wish I could take back. I came voluntarily but as soon as I got here, I regretted it. Everything is coordinated down to fresh air breaks and counseling sessions. No phone, no familiar faces, really no connection to the outside world. You’re here, sober and with your own through and feelings to process and that’s what I needed. I was scared to do this alone but here I found other women who became my sobriety sisters. We all come from different walks of life but ultimately we’re all here for help and change. I found lifelong friends and even other recovering addicts - staff members who shared their journey… some 20+ years in recovery. I found that recovery is a lifelong journey and it takes a “mind over matter” attitude to be outside every day and make the right choice. My stay was short but I got what I needed and I feel confident in my ability to make the right choice as often as I’m faced with the wrong choice. Unfortunately, there are people here who work and treat you like an inmate versus a “patient” and it shows by the way they treat you - short and impersonal. However, there are amazing people here who take their job as a duty to the people and saw me for who I was and met me where I was. Ms. Caroline, Ms. Kim, Ms. Fashion, Ms. Joyce, Mr. Larry, Chef, Mr. Demetrius, Ms. Taraja, Mr. Craig and Ms. Ayana were everything! Also, the medical team was 5/5 as they were attentive, informative and helpful always. Guadenzia will hold a special place in my heart, I am deeply grateful and I can’t wait to come back in a year and share my journey!

Terrible place to start your recovery. My belongings were in the shed for 4 days? The shed was a far off place that maybe someone eventually will get your stuff. Dirty, air conditioners don't work. I guarantee the… sheets were not clean on the bed

First Thanking God for Everything in all things🙏🏿 I Thank God for Gaudenzia. This treatment center help save my life. I went there February 13, 2024 18months later I'm still living Clean n Recovering from the inside out… working a 12 step program. I went to Gaudenzia for help. My experience at Gaudenzia was good. I have nothing bad to say about this treatment center. I was respectful and got respect in return. The staff was pretty good. It was structured and that's what I needed. I went there with all intentions on saving my life from the getting and using drugs. Loving myself and being a productive member of society. Following (GOD) Good orderly directions. I didn't always get my meds on time. The food wasn't always good. The blessings out of that for me was I received my meds..I ate if I felt like. The thing is I didn't go without. I didn't go to the treatment center to make friends , I went to treatment to learn how to live life without the use of drugs. I'm caring, loving and kind person to anyone I come across. I didn't always feel like getting up early in the morning but inorder for me to get my life back I had to change my old ways of thinking. If I didn't change anything nothing was going to change for me. I had to be a part of my treatment like I am a part of my recovery. Gaudenzia helped we with all of that and I will be forever grateful. Coming to Gaudenzia i got the help I so desperately needed. Just for today I will continue working the 12 steps and practice these Principles in all my affairs...Honesty, Open mindness, willingness, acceptance, humility etc... Thank you Gaudenzia for being a big part of my recovery. Living life on life terms. One day at a time🙏🏿❤️🫶🏿🙌🏿 Grateful Me🙏🏿❤️🙌🏿

I'm so grateful for Gaudenzia Park Heights. They've helped me on a few occasions. You can tell that they care and just want the best for the clients. Gaudenzia Park Heights has always been a safe space for me.. Even… when I have messed up, the staff never judged me and they always encouraged me despite anything happening. Thank you all so much!

Do not go there. If you’re going through withdrawal they will make you wait because all the staff does is mess around their communication with each other is off and by the time they get you situated it’ll be a week… that’s how slow they are and they go slow on purpose they literally go to work to not work the provider is this African-American lady who is mean.

Unprofessional phone interaction with the Peer Recovery Specialist seeking client services. Why hang up on someone you reached out to for support because you didn't hear what you wanted to hear??? Lol. I wouldn't dare… want someone supporting me or a loved one who conducts themselves in this manner. Sound like they still need recovery for themselves because the coping skills need work.

One of the absolute worst programs you could be in. It was the second worst one I ever experienced. Gaudenzia as a whole is a mess. Every single person I knew that went through their whole program all ended up back on… the streets. The staff were absolutely horrible at the location I was at years ago. I’ll never forget how awful the staff and program was. And then working with the state on these release programs for addiction offenders is a joke. All about money.

The worst place never recommend to anyone. I'm actually going to report this place for how poorly they treat the handicapped. Other clients are made to clean everything including someone's feces. The medical staff is… ridiculous one even offered his number to me while he was giving me medication, something that other girls said was common.

I was referred to Gaudenzia.(2018) It was my first time going to a drug rehab(and last). Worst experience ever!! Staff are terribly rude!!. They treat you as if you're in a prison and they're guards. The staff are so… rude, disrespectful and UNPROFESSIONAL. I couldn't believe they even made the clients responsible for incoming clients going through withdrawal. That meant, cleaning up after them when they got sick, helping them shower etc. I thought this can't be legal. Anyway. After spending just one week there. I checked myself out. I didn't get the help that I came for. It was a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to go there.

I went to there women’s long term. I learned about myself, my copping skills needed to be improved. I took there suggestions and set goals. We had groups and mediation and planned my next step. The staff there are so… welcoming and supportive. Gardenzia will always have my back now. And I’m a recovering alcoholic addict. We do recover. Thank you, Gardenzia.
