Solstice Counseling/Wellness Center – Cherry Hill Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Solstice Counseling/Wellness Center – Cherry Hill is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Solstice Counseling/Wellness Center – Cherry Hill Reviews and Ratings
Reviews for Solstice Counseling/Wellness Center are drawn from around the web and from RehabSeekers itself, where patients, loved ones, healthcare workers and referring professionals can share their experience of the Cherry Hill program.
Title: My Experience at Solstice – Cherry Hill Location ⚠️ **BE FULLY WARNED — PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THE CHERRY HILL LOCATION.** ⚠️ I am sharing this review based on my personal experience at the Solstice Cherry… Hill location, and quite frankly, this place was a complete disappointment. From the moment I interacted with the front desk staff—including Danielle and another staff member whose name I did not get—I felt I was met with an unnecessary level of disrespect, hostility, and unprofessionalism. I came to this facility seeking support on my journey toward recovery. Instead, I left feeling discouraged, disrespected, and emotionally drained. What was especially concerning to me was the way conflict was handled. Rather than feeling like staff were attempting to de-escalate the situation, I felt that multiple staff members confronted me at once, which only escalated things further. After I reacted to what I experienced as disrespect, I was then threatened with having the police called. **That is NOT what someone seeking recovery and support should have to experience.** My assigned counselor, Kim, was equally disappointing. I did not feel heard, supported, understood, or shown the level of empathy and compassion I believe someone working in recovery services should have. And yes, I am going to say this plainly: **I intend to report my experience at this facility to the appropriate State of New Jersey authorities and request that the practices and treatment I experienced be investigated.** If other people have had similar experiences, I believe those concerns deserve to be heard and properly investigated as well. The ONE staff member I encountered who I genuinely felt demonstrated the compassion and encouragement needed in this line of work was **Nichole**. I appreciate the way she treated me and recognize her for being the only person there who made me feel like I was actually being supported. I am a strong-minded person, and thankfully I know who I am and what I am fighting for. But I genuinely worry about someone who may be in a more vulnerable state entering this facility looking for help and leaving feeling even more discouraged. People seeking recovery deserve **empathy, dignity, compassion, respect, and appropriate de-escalation—not hostility and confrontation.** So, Solstice, let me be VERY clear: YOU DID NOT WIN. I refuse to allow this experience to derail my recovery. I am going back to the drawing board, continuing my journey, and remaining committed to becoming the healthiest, strongest, SOBER version of myself. I WILL recover. I WILL continue moving forward. And I WILL live a healthy, sober life. 🤲🏾 As for Solstice Cherry Hill? I will be reporting my experience. Do better. People seeking help deserve better. Sorry, NOT Sorry. This is my experience, and I have every right to share it.
Great place, definitely helps.

What a poor existence some of the workers here have , having a chance to better humanity and be a better human themselves but completely fail and waste it being full of ignorance and pride. My own counselor Kate Lapp… told me she didn’t want to be in substance abuse but it was the only job available and while that was unprofessional I was still open to seeing some decency in her as a person in this field but it’s clear she was correct and only views anyone coming in those doors as less than human, along with the supervisors I spoke to. Misinformation, miscommunication , no de-escalation, and a true lack of empathy at its best. Having a title means nothing and in this field people do need help not be met with the ignorance I have been met with and I am sure plenty others experience. I understand not one person can do everything in their power but one person can do their job and work as a team to hear and acknowledge others and find effective ways to move forward instead of run and hide or team up against those seeking treatment or doing their best. There’s some beautiful people working there but the ones who couldn’t care less ruin it for everyone one bad apple changes dynamics and if you’re not willing to do what’s right then you’re just as wrong . Being a supervisor in this place is meaningless. Find your passion again and do something good, because as of now you’re better retiring or finding a different field. Things need to be revised or people need to REMEMBER what they’re doing things for.
Nicki is the nicest person I meet as a counselor she actually listens and treats people like there human unlike other programs I been in wear they treated me like some guy that makes there paychecks
Solstice is the absolute best!!! By all means!
If i.could.give 0 stars I would. No one cares about you
Danielle is hell of a counselor and gives me good insight. I am glad she is my counselor and part of my recovery. I wouldn't trade her in for anyone.
Great program !! Impacted my life for the better . I would recommend to anyone trying to change their life . Counselors are great !! Front desk receptionist is amazing !!!
The driver Michael is absolutely great! He is always on time, very nice to all clients, and even brings donuts for staff and clients!
I want to start out by saying this review is my reflection of the admissions process, since I was not accepted into the program. I cannot speak on how things are run and the effectiveness of the therapies offered at… Solstice. I will say that they were patient with me at first for the initial screening process, as I had to reschedule multiple times. However, my experience 3/4s way into the initial assessment went terribly south. I was told that my urine tested positive for fentanyl, which I have not touched in years. They did not show me the results (this will be relevant later). While they acknowledged the possibility of a false positive, they still included it in their reasoning for not accepting me into their program. I went there looking for help because I am tapering off of anxiety medication and I really need a program to help me build skills to apply to my current life (work, relationships, etc). I also had an accidental overdose a few weeks before my final assessment. I explained in full detail what happened, and I take full accountability for my actions and behaviors. But I have been through several in patient programs and thoroughly explained why an in patient program is not the right course for me right now. They still denied me the help I am/was seeking. I practically begged. One of the admissions counselors told me I could send photos of all the medications I took so they could cross reference and see if it would have caused a false positive for fentanyl. After doing this, I received a call from the program supervisor-who I never met- cheerfully telling me that my test results were not the only reason I was not accepted into the program. It seemed they had taken some things I said out of context, though I felt I had been very clear, I did not feel heard or seen at the end of it all. They just wanted to be done with me and for me to stop trying to attend their program. I do not fit the mold of the kind of person they claim they wish to help. Even though I was told multiple times that this is a program that “meets participants where they are at”, that is simply not the case. The same day I was drug tested there, I bought ultra sensitive fentanyl urine tests. I came up negative every time. They never showed me my results at their office. Because I am acutely aware of the substances I do and do not take, and this may sound paranoid, but I suspect that my test did not actually show positive for fentanyl. All of my tests were negative and I even tested at a separate lab the next day. I am not leaving this review out of bitter resentment, but because I have been through this ringer so many times and I wish I was better at gauging which programs really mean they want to “meet you where you’re at”, and which ones will cast you aside on a really weak basis. That was my experience with the admissions process at Solstice.
