Resource Center for the Chemically Dep – Denville Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 273 East Main Street in Denville, New Jersey, 7834. This address falls in Morris County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

My name is Lucio Torcivia. I am a client at Morris County aftercare. I just wanna say this is the best clinic that has helped me so much. My counselor Regina is the best. She’s always there and ready to help me in any… situation all the counselors one specifically Betsy, who’s been there for very long time she’s always at the middle window with a smile on her face to greet me or anybody in that case And the head nurse I forgot his name. He’s a great man too. Everybody, everybody in that clinic will always open their arms to help you trust me. I’ve been there for almost 8 years now and I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else and thank God I’m starting to do good in life. It took a while, but nobody ever gave up on me especially Regina. She never gave up on me and now I’m finally I can say that I’m clean one day at a time I would like to thank everyone at Morris County after care for the smiles the warm welcomes and all the help that I’ve needed through my course in life. I’ve never have been in a clinic better than Morris County aftercare in Denville. They are aces in my book. Just want to thank everyone there, especially Regina and the whole medical staff Betsy everyone they’re just a great bunch of people.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ If anyone is struggling with drugs, especially opiates I recommend this program because it’s the best one and if I can do it one day at a time you can do it. God bless for good counselors good medical team good everybody there especially my counselor Regina who’s never gave up on me God bless her.✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😀😀😀😀😀😀

Seriously the best clinic ever! I recently switched due to moving and it’s the biggest regret I’ve had yet in my 8 years of sobriety. I had no idea how lucky I was going to MCAC. They truly love you and treat you with… respect. I’d give anything to go back here over where I’m at now. Complete 180. I went from the best clinic to the worst and regret it. If you don’t have to leave here, don’t do it. If you’re looking to get clean, go here! I promise. If you’re willing to do the work, this place WILL help! I have 8 years of sobriety thanks to them. Scared for my sobriety at the new clinic. Miss everyone here so much! -Brianna Genovese

The staff at MCAC is exceptional. From the intake process to the regular meetings with counselors, everyone is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The clinic’s counselors truly listen and work with patients to… create individualized treatment plans. They are always available for guidance, and genuinely care about their patients progress. The nurses and medical staff ensure that dosing is properly managed, safely administered and adequate to sustain recovery. The medical staff is thorough and they check- in to monitor health and progress. The facility is state of the art, clean and inviting and leadership is invested in ensuring that all patients receive quality care in line with the mission.

I've been on a few programs before and I must say that this one here has one of the most caring and efficient staff that I've seen so if you're looking to get your life stable and turn it around it's worth the little… extra trip you might have to make to go up to this program

I came from newton aftercare and I can’t express how nervous and anxiety ridden I was to even imagine switching, with moving it was a must and I cannot believe how truly phenomenal this center is, so supportive, so kind… and truly work with you if you need. Thank you all so much! I certainly wouldn’t have made it to two years clean without y’all!

If some can respond and can give me some… information also is IOP mandatory? Thank you so much hope someone will help me

This place is not the place you want to go to get sober. There are way better clinics out there. My boyfriend and I were booted from the clinic after being there for years and having literally no issues and even told we… were amazing clients yet one incident that a staff member started and we get booted. Just save yourself the trouble. The staff are all rude and mean and then if you react you're the bad guy. May be an addict bit I'm a human that deserves respect. All of us are. We're just money for Lorna.

Worst place ever. If you have anyone out there wanting to get clean. please only go if last this is your very last resort. they offer no real help, you can never get a hold of your counslour. If staff screws up, the… patients always pays the price. The biggest rule they live by is the client/patient is always wrong or lying. The nurses are horrific and rude, the only nice ones seem to only last a week or two before they quit.

Morris County Aftercare is a wonderful place to receive treatment. They allowed me to guest dose there for 2 month until I got my medicaid situated upon discharge from an in-patient program I was at. By them allowing me… to guest dose it kept me on the path I've worked so hard to get on. The facility is clean and all the employees are super nice as well as the owner. Most facilities you don't ever see the owner, but she is very hands on and does her best to help the customer in anyway possible. I've been to other clinics and Morris County Aftercare is by far the best one I've seen. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking into Medicated Assisted Treatment, who wants to change their life for the better!!!!!

Its one of the best Methadone Programs in the state! Counselors care and e everyone is very welcoming...

★★★★★
notinthematrix8 years ago

Since 1985, I have been a patient at 3 methadone programs, and Morris County Aftercare is without question the absolute best. Since I first became a patient at MC Aftercare several years ago, I can honestly say that… every single staff member I’ve ever met was professional, personable, empathic, knowledgeable and caring. I have always been treated with the utmost respect, even when I always didn’t do my best. And during those times that I wasn’t doing my best, my counselor helped me realize my potential and put me in touch with resources that I had no idea existed. As addicts, I know we sometimes don’t come from happy homes, but walking into MC Aftercare is like walking into a happy, supportive home. Since my very first day, the doctors, nurses, counselors and support staff all made me feel immediately welcomed, and I continue to be impressed by how accessible, friendly and compassionate everyone is, including the executive director (who is often unreachable at OTHER programs). Even though I’ve been an MC Aftercare client for several years, I haven’t paid one cent for my treatment because I qualified for funding through a program called SAPT which, from what I have read, is limited to a certain number of patients each year. Not everyone qualifies for funding, but the program does accept Medicaid. And even if I didn’t qualify for funding, this program would have cost me only $70 a week, which is FAR LESS than I was spending EVERY DAY when I was using drugs. MC Aftercare is different from the other programs I have attended in that the staff REALLY do care about patients. They don’t just meet with you and ask you how you’re doing because they are REQUIRED to do that as part of their jobs. They do it because they REALLY DO CARE and because they recognize your worth as a human being and don’t want to see you overdose. Indeed, they take the time to get to know you and to learn about you so together, you can develop a comprehensive, reasonable treatment plan. And, while the staff understands that relapse is often part of the recovery process, they remain supportive and helpful without becoming enablers. You just have to show that you are REALLY trying and that you are succeeding more often than not, and your counselor will work with you and get you into their Intensive Outpatient Program, which helped me learn about things that I was doing that weren’t conducive to my recovery. If you’re like me, you’ve been in and out of detox and recovery programs many times, and you’ve seen a lot of bureaucracy and adherence to 12-step programs that in my opinion are outdated and unrealistic. You will see none of that bureaucratic and small-minded pettiness at Morris County Aftercare. The focus is on the patient and his or her recovery, not on adherence to a 12-step program from the 1950s that, in my opinion, doesn’t give enough credence to the biological component of addiction. In sum, Morris County Aftercare receives my highest recommendation. I have spoken with many other patients who, like me, have been on other programs, and we all agree that Morris County Aftercare is much better than other programs we have attended. The focus is on the patient and his or her recovery, and getting them the help, they need. And even though there are probably hundreds of patients on this program, it seems as if the entire staff at MC Aftercare strives to know each-and-every patient and cares about their recovery. If you’re ready to take control of your life, don’t try to do it alone, especially when the pros at MC Aftercare would welcome you with open arms—exactly the way they welcomed me!
