Bleuler Psychotherapy Center – Jackson Heights Address, Location and Contact Information
82-11 37th Avenue, Jackson Heights, New York, 11372 is the address held. The city lies within Queens County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Bleuler Psychotherapy Center – Jackson Heights Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Bleuler Psychotherapy Center help in two directions. Reading them helps you prepare questions for the admissions team, and writing one, if you have been a patient, helps the next family prepare theirs.
Keep yourself and your loved ones far away. This is a poorly operated corporation that has no business in the mental health field. Bleuler lacks policies and procedures that will compensate for inefficient staff (not… refilling monthly medications). Employees at Bleuler regularly neglect their obligations to patients (miss appointments, miss communication, miss presriptions). Nadine George, Sara Lewis, Benjamin Gaia and Beena Saad need to be reevaluated by the American Board of Psychiatry for mental and professional competency. It is clear Bleuler employees prioritize a paycheck and do not uphold the values espoused by their profession. If you are researching an organization for yourself or your loved one, do not choose Bleuler based on insurance or location. Do not sacrifice your integrity. I hope their corporate stakeholders read this.
Awful customer servixe. They keep you on hold for a long time. You ask to speak to a supervisor and they refuse to put one on. This guy Sebastian especially extremely rude. Him alone and his attitude is main reason I… wont bring my kids there. At first I was hesitant to even give them a chance not hearing such good things but I did try to give them a chance. Now I see why their reviews are so low
Wouldn't recommend this place to know one at this point I got more aggravated and didn't even start therapy the intake lady was nice. Find therapy elsewhere they favor certain people do better
I cannot say enough positive things about this mental health agency. From the moment you engage with their team, you can feel the level of care, professionalism, and genuine commitment they bring to the work they do. It… is clear that their mission goes beyond just providing services. They truly invest in the well-being and progress of every individual they support. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. They take the time to listen, understand, and tailor their approach to meet each person where they are. You never feel rushed or overlooked. Instead, you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. What really stands out is their consistency and reliability. Appointments are handled smoothly, communication is clear, and there is a strong sense of structure and organization behind everything they do. At the same time, they maintain a warm and welcoming environment that makes it easier to open up and engage in the process. If you are looking for a mental health agency that combines expertise with genuine compassion and dedication, this is an excellent choice. Their impact is meaningful, and the level of care they provide truly sets them apart.
Management doesn't call back or communicate. They misdiagnose and refuse to help. The therapist refuses to even do breathing exercises. They just prescribe more and more medication causing worse health issues. They… cancel appointments same day but require 48 hrs notice for you to cancel OR YOU MUST PAY A FEE. I could go on. After a year here nothing got better.
I recently returned to Bleuler Psychotherapy center. I tried my best to be open minded but unfortunately I can’t do that. Not because I have an issue with the therapist or the office but for the fact that I have to see… a therapist every two weeks and that’s too long. Let alone having difficulty seeing a psychiatrist. It’s very difficult to be Accommodated with this clinic, Because it’s difficult to see accommodations, there’s no really true way to mitigate And receive at least decent treatments and assistance from here!
The most incompetent Rx prescribers I've encountered yet. Therapists are good but they're clearly overbooked so you'll be repeating yourself often.
I love this company and my experience caring for my mental health. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and still am attending sessions as an adult. I felt like I was forced to go to sessions when I was a kid, and… did not enjoy it. However, I felt like my therapist always showed up for me and understood my concerns. My provider has changed a lot of the years due to a high turnover rate, but I have always have felt cared for. I am not sure why there are a plethora of negative reviews. I see this company as people who want to help their community address their mental health needs. I recently also got to interact with the BPC outreach team and hear about the work they are doing in the NYC DOE school system. Additionally, I am a fan of the BPC Instagram posts and encouragement there. I love the spreading of resources as well through social media. Keep doing what you are doing.
Absolutely some of the most incompetent billing and customer services in the area. Very very poor communications, basically nonexistent. No statement, no email communications, no online payment (at least that's not the… worst). They do not answer calls nor answer your questions. The only time they call you is when they ask you to pay. When you have questions on billing, they do not answer. They also have the habit of sending their clients to collection agency for their own failure of clarifying procedure and accounting details in a timely manner. That being said I feel the providers are professional and so was the leadership team but management team is a hot mess. Hire more and better people or change the team!
Scammers. From the beginning, I made it clear that I would only proceed with services if they were fully covered by my medical insurance. I was assured that my insurance would cover the costs, and based on that… information, I agreed to receive the services. At no point did I authorize or sign up for out-of-pocket payments. It is extremely unfair and unprofessional to charge me after I was explicitly told that I would not be responsible for any costs as my insurance covered it all. Now every month they been charging me a lot of money and I'm a student. I only took a few sessions 5-6. In fact I even paid $900 overall And they said after that I'll be removed from the system and yet they still charging me. This institute should be banned by government. They're scamming vulnerable people
Being harassed about copays I was never informed existed until they added up to an insane amount that are from 5 years ago seems like everyone is on the same boat! This company is awful stay away.
I would recommend all prospective clients to stay away from this terrible place. Communication between everyone here is absolutely trash. Their objective is solely to increase $$ to serve board members and not at all… focused on their clients' level of care. Therapists here are forced to overbook large caseloads and they all end up leaving for fairer practices. Every client complains about not being able to get consistent sessions because of the turnaround rate.
Extremely unprofessional and very rude.
Terrible communication and trouble following up - would have to be spammed for them to even get back to you. (Leaving review for family)
The worst. Nothing at all like 10 years ago.
I like it and very nice and I am interested going one day
This place is terrible… ive had so many issues with billing and they literally never call you back and give you the run around.. been chasing them around for 3 months now… no call back ever
This place is absolutely horrible. During covid I was forced to go virtual for therapy. I was still sending in my billing payments by mail to cover my copayments, and each time they would send it back to my house. I… called and asked why this was happening and they said my insurance was covering the cost and I no longer had to send in payments by mail. Flashforward to 2022 where I am now billed $275 after saying it was covered, and could not afford to pay it as I did not have stable income. It has now been bumped to $315 btw! I had to quit therapy for a few years due to this. It has been 4 years since I’ve used their services and I’m still being harassed monthly regarding this “outstanding bill” which they themselves have created. I always pay on time and have never been late for payments. Also would like to add that this place is extremely inconsistent and in my 2 years of being here I went through about 5 or 6 different therapists. Every 2-3 months I was assigned a new one. Extremely unorganized and unprofessional.
I had a very disappointing experience with this psychotherapy center due to their unreasonable billing system and lack of communication. They automatically sent my balance to a debt collection agency without providing… any prior notice or warning. I was never informed about any outstanding balance or given an opportunity to address it before this drastic action was taken. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially from a mental health service that should prioritize reducing stress for their patients, not adding to it. Their lack of transparency and poor communication in handling billing matters is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this center to anyone who values clear and fair communication regarding their financial responsibilities.
This place is great. Very flexible, fast and accommodating with appointments to see a therapist and prescriber. Experienced and compassionate staff. Highly recommend
Unreliable, unprofessional, disappointing, untrustworthy. Those are just 4 words that you would NOT want to associate with someone or an organization that suppose to provide mental health therapy to its patients. The… waiting process to get a therapist after the initial assessment took over a month. That 1st "professional" canceled 2 out 3 of my sessions (same day cancellations) in less than a month. IF it has been the patient cancelling on the same day I bet there would be repercussions. I requested a new therapist. That set me up at least another 6 weeks for the 2nd "professional" to be assigned to my case. Today I was suppose to start with my new therapist but got no phone call, no text message. Nothing. Silence. HOW can you trust an organization and by consequence, a therapist, when you are not considered a human being? SHAMEFUL! PS: BTW I do not care about your Bleuler PC Inc. copy/paste Response from the owner. Instead take charge and make changes or STOP proclaiming that you provide services that you clearly DO NOT!
My therapist quit three months ago. They have yet to hire another. All this time without a therapist. I am going crazy. They must be the worst ever employer. I have gone through four therapists with this place. They… keep quitting.
DO NOT GO HERE. they do not care about your mental health or struggles. They will treat you with disrespect, attitude and will not listen to you. I’ve been here for two years and they clearly have no experience working… with people who are diagnosed with any mental health conditions. They think they’re high and mighty just cause they think they got an authority over you but truth is…you can just go somewhere else to get help. And other people will care. Y’all not alone. These people are garbage. I spoke to Nadine she’s a supervisor and she made me have a mental episode and my lips turned purple and I fainted. Afterwards she calls only to be really evil. The therapists are horrible and don’t care. Just don’t go here if u need actual help. It’s sad because you’d think a place like this would help you but they don’t care about their patients. People at the desk are rude and will hang up on you. Everyone who works here will have you feeling even worse. If u read this, do NOT go here. They’re evil.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This place is a disaster. I should have listened to the other reviews. I went there to get help with substance issues and was really needing help. I was recommended to them by a suicide hotline.… That’s how bad things were. It was close to my house and they accepted my insurance so I spent over an hour doing their “intake” process with one of their substance counselors and he told me “if you don’t hear from us in a week to start your treatment, call us”. Well…a month went by with no calls or follow-up. About 5 weeks later I got a call from my new substance counselor who told me the issue is the previous one who did my intake had left and she was his replacement. We had 2 sessions in total. The counselor Shanti (or something like that) was actually very nice and knowledgeable and compassionate and I spent 2 sessions pouring my heart out and sharing with her what I’ve been struggling and she provided good insight. But on my SECOND session, she ends our session with “I have bad news, I’m leaving so this will be our last session but ill tell them to keep you on file for my replacement That was over a month ago and ive been struggling with relapses (which im not blaming them for). i have yet to hear back from them since that last session a month ago This place must be a horrible place to work bc the turnover is crazy. i now have to now find a new place to get help but its a good thing i wasnt deep in the trenches and needed help bc this place could have been good. But the bad reviews go back YEARS so they clearly dont care enough to change management and get better It's truly sad bc people with mental and substance issues need help and this place is just beyond mediocre and should be ashamed that it treats hurting people this way. This place needs to be shut down and reopen under new management/staff
Very unprofessional
Place is horrible and don’t go there.
Doing another review since I just had contact with them again. Don’t buy into their “We’re so concerned” messages on here. They won’t even take a few minutss out of their time to discuss your grievances over the phone… with you. Truly pathetic and they should delete all their messages responding to the negative reviews.
I had my intake with Aditi, and she was so attentive to my needs. She listened to everything I had to say and took the time to answer any of my questions and concerns. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely seems to… care about her patients and is willing to go over things as many times as i need just so everything is clearer for me to understand. She provides detailed explanations for everything and i look forward to our sessions.
I genuinely would recommend you go literally anywhere else. The psychiatrist I was given was atrocious, very clearly uninterested in an actual diagnosis, or giving proper medical care. If you want to be misdiagnosed and… then spend years trying to convince a medical professional that the physical and mental side effects of the medication are ruining your life, this is the place to go! Therapy was also horrendous. The first therapist I had was like talking to a brick wall. The second therapist I had was the definition of nice but unkind. She'd act very sweet and nice week after week but if I said anything she thought was "weird" I'd have to spend half the session justifying my own spiritual beliefs, gender identity, and lifestyle choices that are irrelevant to mental health and absolutely were improvements for my mental health despite claiming that feeling less anxious after meditation was "the placebo effect". I genuinely was shocked to hear this place has an LGBT center after the way my therapist behaved. I can't stress enough how horrible psychiatric care from places like this are. Just avoid it like the plague and learn to advocate for yourself.
