Healing Way – Philadelphia Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Healing Way – Philadelphia is detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Does not send methadone to the pharmacy for my husband & they would force him to come in and he is handicapped and cannot do that. There must be other ways to prescribe it. Especially to severely handicapped individuals.
My boy is being treated here and the people are ignorant and Rude. The doctor....if she is a doctor...no name tag , no diploma on the wall, no ID.Was extremely rude and refused to even talk to me about my boy
I currently go to the healing way. And the only reasons I had problems was because I wasn't doing what I needed to do. They applied some pressure on me and reminded me I wasn't going to be given up on and sometimes… that's what we need. They helped me embrace some things I'd have never done on my own and continue to hold me accountable me while showing me an immense amount of support. If you can't handle being told what your real issues are, it probably isn't for you. If you can't handle being called out, it probably isn't for you. Staff there will give opportunity if you actually try and put out effort. It's some heavy stuff. Totally worth it.
THE HEALING WAY IS THE BEST THING DA COULD OF EVER HAPPENED TO ME TODAY I AM ALIVE THANKS BE TO MY COUNSELOR MS. TERRI FANELLI. FOR ALL DA SHE PULLS UP WITH AND MORE SHE DOESN'T GET PAID ENOUGH FOR ALL DA I GIVE HER.… SHE'S A WONDERFUL PERSON AND GREAT MENTOR GOD BLESS YOU T.. AND WE CAN'T FORGET ABOUT OUR OTHER LADIES MS. SIERRA MS. JASMINE MS.VANESSA AND THERE'S MANY MORE NAMES WHOM I CAN'T REMEMBER AT THIS MOMENT LISTEN TO THE HILLARY FOR THE BLESSING AND UNDERSTANDING.......WE NEED MORE PLACES LIKE THE HEALING WAY
Great place if you want to recover and work and stay clean .I been to cbh clinics all the same Folks selling this and that and going because it's free and they still complain .......
As a Priest I have sent people who are addicted or in need of mental health services to the Healing Way. From the moment my referrals walked through the door. Their healing began. They were treated with dignity and… respect at the front window by Jasmine. Next stop for assessment with Shakira, who they felt very comfortable with as she showed such tender, loving care. Next stop meeting the boss lady Gabriella, who displayed such empathy that my referrals knew they were home and finally between counselors like Toya their mental health conditions became stabilized as well as their addiction. As clergy, you need people who are dependable respectful and honest, and all of these values, the employees have! I also like the name, Healing Way as God heals and the spirit of God is within all of their employees !!!!!!! If I could give this business 10 stars, I would
Great place for recovery and mental health services!!! Staff is awesome and friendly. Ms. Toye’s groups are great, she cares and wants to see everyone succeed. She show’s tough love and is very helpful with resources.
Well it wasn't easy at first behind the fact that I'm not a people person, yet I learned through the healing way group sessions it's power in bigger or larger numbers.
Decent place to do therapy
Gave integrity and beautiful service to their clients... Also help that is not forgotten... As it's given and very respectful...
The Healing way is an awesome recovery and mental health outpatient they treat you like a human like they care about you I gotta say the ppl running the place Mr.Matt and Ms.Toi you guys are awesome you hold guys… accountable and reward them when there doing good
Hemingway is the best Miss Toya is all that and some
One of the best treatment centers in the City. Ms Toye is outstanding
if someone suggests getting services at this place run away fast and don't look back ! consider yourself lucky to not have endured what they consider helping you. you have choices and this should never be a good… choice.if I could give no stars I would.
this is not a place to get therapy and psychological services. Looking for help is the first step. Going to this place to get the help you need and not getting help is a tragedy. this place is a tragedy. My rating is NO… STARS? but i have to give ONE STAR.
I recommend The Healing Way for treatment. This is the first place I have been to where I have been treated like a human and that they care about my mental health and sobriety. Ms.Toye is a great therapist and group… leader who cares bout your treatment if you care about it. Jenn is also another great therapist. Healing Way I know I’m at the right place with the right people by my side! THANKS GUYS
I was a patient of the healing way and was under going therapy I missed some appointments with my therapist and her supervisor Matthew Hoffman called me and Blatantly disrespected me he said if I’m not going to come to… therapy I can go elsewhere. I explained to him that my therapist and I did not always meet at our appointed time and he called me a liar several times and told me I’m wasting their time. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said “ there is no one above me this is the end of the line for you.” I was distraught I could not believe that someone at a place I went for help could speak to me in that manner. He had no regard for how it made me feel. I went in to the office to talk about how he disrespected me and after he found out I wasn’t recording he spoke to me even more disrespectful he said I disrespected his therapist by missing my appointments. Never in my life would I thought someone who is supposed to be helping me could make me feel that way. This has really changed my mind about therapy how could I go somewhere for help and get talked to like I was nothing. (F.y.i a lot of people go here after being released from prison or are forced to go here I am not one of those people I walked in myself)he talked to me like I was the scum of the earth and I’m sure he probably speak to many people that come here like this and they probably never speak up. This has been a terrible experience I am scared to get help from this point forward because I don’t want this to happen again. I don’t recommend this office to anyone unless you aren’t going to miss any appointments because he will come for you like he came for me.
This place is garbage! I came here for therapy care and they don't care about you! I have had three different therapist since August of 2023 and this is just ridiculous! They need to do a whole lot better.
Very nice staff!
The staff at The Healing Way are exceptional!
They have a lady there named Shakira, who’s helped my family tremendously!! Would think about going anywhere else. So thankful!
