Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center – Austin Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 12221 Renfert Way, Austin, Texas, 78758. Austin sits in Travis County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

As an outpatient therapist, I have seen meaningful progress in clients who have participated in both the PHP and IOP levels of care, including improved coping skills, increased emotional stability, and greater… confidence in managing life's challenges. I appreciate the program's commitment to comprehensive treatment, collaborating care and their dedication to helping clients successfully transition back to their daily lives. I would confidently recommend this program to colleagues seeking a high-quality outpatient behavioral health treatment option for their clients.

Just finished an 8 week PHP program followed by an 8 week IOP program, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had ❤️❤️ Truly changed my entire mindset, gave me SO many resources; I have so much hope for my future :) I… am so excited to get back into college especially with the skills I’ve gained from Pathlight; I’m able to be more outgoing, involved, vulnerable, and I don’t feel alone anymore. Thankyou so so much Pathlight 💕

This place has helped me heal in ways I never thought I could. This was my fourth IOP & for once it worked. Staff is incredible & genuinely cares about patients. Groups are run well & give us time to process our daily… stressors in the first hour of group. After the first hour, you're taught lessons & coping skills & how to apply them to real life. These people care & want to help you. Because of ERCPathlight I feel important, strong, confident, & whole again.

I completed an 8 week IOP program at Pathlight, and it was the best experience I’ve had after attending several other facilities. They taught DBT, CBT, and ACT skills in a way that actually helped me apply them to real… life. I now feel more present, happier, and able to manage my mental health and handle life as an adult. The staff was incredible - supportive, compassionate, and truly invested. Special shoutout to Morgan, the best therapist I’ve ever had, who made a huge impact on my growth. I highly recommend Pathlight to anyone looking for real, lasting change.

I will echo what others have said. Disorganized and not worth it. I didn’t even start the program because of the unprofessionalism they showed before my first day of their virtual outpatient care program. Despite… telling multiple people I wouldn’t be able meet the first day because of a surgery, my coordinator wasnt even informed. I had questions about whether staff was trauma informed and the questions were completely skirted by multiple staff members. There was absolutely no transparency or compassion. The director said everyone was trauma informed, and when I asked how my people were or what qualifications they had, my answer was that it “wasn’t feasible” to get that answer. I completely understand this is “mood and anxiety” based, but I deserve to ask questions about who my providers will be and if they would be safe providers for me. The director also offered to call me and then never responded to my email when I gave her times I was available. I could go on and on about the communication I experienced before even starting here. My own therapist was saddened that I was recommended a place that was so obviously not well run or trauma-informed (but claimed to be) that they couldn’t even handle questions about it with compassion and care. Oh, by the way, you aren’t allowed to talk about any events in your life in the 9 hours of group therapy a week. They made sure to tell me that. You can say “I had a hard event that is giving me anxiety”, though. They also paired me with a therapist who “specializes” in trauma but when I actually looked her up, she specializes in adolescence sports related mental health issues. What? I’m 30 and not an athlete. Her online profiles barely mention being focused on trauma at all. They’re just liars trying to tell me what I want to hear. Seems like they stick you with who is available and try to spin them to fit your needs if you start asking too many questions. They don’t have (now) 6 1-star reviews for nothing.

really just awful all around. horrible staff, some just not knowing what they are doing. and if you need any meds in there like tylenol if you have a headache, you can ask someone but get ready to wait 2-3 hours for it.… i’m not joking. i was judged by staff and other staff members were just not attentive. there were other patients doing harmful behaviors and staff did not intervene and it ended up triggering me.

Called today because I have extreme anxiety and depression and during the screening I was told that they didn’t know what to do and to wait for later on. Like are you kidding? I need help now. I feel so stupid and small… and worthless. This is such a joke. This level of neglect tells me how incompetent they really are.

It cost thousands, I’m not kidding you, thousands to get treatment from here. If you have a high deductible good luck. If you don’t have insurance you’re better off going somewhere else. Hope the people who run this are… having a nice time in their vacation home they got taking money from the vulnerable.
