Considering this place is for mental health treatment you'd think they would be a bit more organized, at the beginning I was being switched medications with no thought about withdrawal symptoms, the pharmacy has taken… too long getting my medications more than once causing a manic or depressive episode, and if the front desk schedules you incorrectly you could be waiting WEEKS to be seen. I only go here because I have no insurance; I understand they're understaffed and underfunded but they're playing with peoples MENTAL HEALTH

Misdiagnosed me and violated patient rights

Service kind of slow but the employees of this place are thoughtful of my needs with mental health. Appointments are spread to far apart though. Overall if you having mental issues this place a good place to start… looking for help and assistance

By far Monica Berry is amazing. She really helps you and get the job done. She helped me get my check back SSI and back pay. She did her job well done Ms. Berry. I’m so grateful for you and may you continue to help the… ones down on their luck. Great job and may you continue to help your job skills are amazing.

In my experience, everyone has been very kind and quick with appointments, they accommodate your schedule, and they are very good at what they do. My daughter improved a lot after her therapies.

Maricela has been the best. She has helped my family in many ways. She is very attentive and puts a lot of effort and interest into her cases. She also shows that she cares and that she really wants to help.

MHMR literally saved my life. I was struggling with my mental health for years and never wanted to or thought I needed any meds for my disorders. They were very supportive and helpful and sensitive to my thoughts and… feelings. They have let me participate in the decisions concerning my mental health and can't appreciate them more than I already do. The staff have been especially nice

I just want to leave this for Monica Berry. This lady here is the best she helped me get my social security in June 2024. I've been trying to get my social security disability since 2012. This lady does her research to… the fullest. She is very knowledgeable regarding her work. She is nice and sweet and will help you if you are truly in need. Thank you Monica Berry you was God sent and you provided.

This place lacks compassion, integrity, ethics. These people are my payee for my disability check. This is the 4th time they have had me sitting in the cold without electricity when I have money in my account. they… don't even care....this is exactly why homeless shelters are full of mentally ill people. This is the most disheartening situation. It is literally 25 degrees in my house....and I have properly gone through the chain of command and yes.... They need to be evaluated

Although facility seems to struggle with keeping staff members employed , the ones they do have are amazing. This program saved my life, giving me access to care when I don't have the funding to do so. I've been a… patient for over a year now and have no complaints. Everyone I've dealt with is very pleasant and I can't imagine what all they deal with throughout the day. Mhmr is an amazing program and I suggest it to anyone in need.

My 21 year old son has been receiving services for 9 years. He has had more than 11 cases managers, they change every 6 months. We found out about some services last month for food and toiletries through Walmart. I gave… his case manager out list, she said her boss needed the items separated (food, toiletries and household items). After patiently waiting over 1 month, redoing my list, and receiving various messages back and forth. I was told today his items did not go through, the grant ended and our order wasn't placed. This took over 1 months for them to get this together to be told NO. I am disappointed, I am frustrated and angry at the agency and it's lack of........

This clinic is the worst thing I have ever seen. Of course, I have the same experience as the others in the reviews. The lack of respect, urgency, and professionalism. This clinic refuses to fill out or submit on time… any FMLA, disability, or any type of paperwork that is needed to receive services or income while in their care. At this point, it looks like this clinic discriminates against people who have a disability and still need income to provide for themselves and their families. We shouldn't have to battle with the very people that help people with disabilities.

The staff here tries as hars as they can to get your needs met. The dront staff is so friendly and willing to gonout od their way to help.

Ive been fighting back and forth with my physician about getting my Fmla paper filled out. I was already approved but they wanted additionally information to keep my insurance and pay going. Here I am with no insurance… and I haven’t been paid in 2 months because Dr. OG won’t finish the paperwork. I find it strange they can prescribe you medication but refuse to give you time off work for mental Health.. She just kept asking me why I needed time off.. Hello you know all of my business, what ever do you mean. They told me they aren’t obligated to fill out any paperwork, and none of the doctors at this location will. For this reason I am discontinuing services. My doctor told me I was inconveniencing her and wasting her time all because she didn’t want to fill it out. I waited in the lobby from 8am - 3 to hear her be disrespectful to me. Don’t come here.

Worst office staff crew! They never get back to you in a timely manner way. I have to constantly call yasmin for the last 3 weeks to get my daughters prescription. They quick to transfer to a vm where their staff don’t… ever check to call back the patients. Poor customer service , ghetto office

I have never seen employees or drs. So unprofessional in the 20 plus yrs I've dealt .with a loved one who suffers with mental issues. They give back important papers that need to go to SSI unsigned, and people being… suppended from there disability check because a MHMR did not do there job..I can see why Texas streets are full of very good people with a mental illness . Something needs to be done and I will start making calls this coming week ..to official. It's heartbreaking

Terrible, the lady on the phone was so disrespectful, rude and not want go next way further to solve the problem with a medication that my son take on daily basis, They told me he is not in his medication, but we used… until he finish the bottle one week and 1/2, , I ask do go to the archives but no cooperation @ all, ending hanging the phone to me, unprofessional and disrespectful, I told to talk whith the case manager, buy as usual its a new person and they never told in s letter that tbey changing, complety overwhelmed and mad, I decided do a next step, wait for that... and check, she said she talk to the doctor ( another headeache) .Finally she hang me the phone with not solution # all, and she want to take to my son bc she said he hear, of course he can't talk for himself bc his ilness, but when I said I am a representative cause I sign a paper a week ago she refuse to talk to me, horrible experience, in NHMR for kids Never havve a problem, big diference, I hope and pray my son dont have an episodes for his illness and finished jumping to the bridge bc the only responsables are them not me.

1st I waited 30 mins to be seen, typical. I haven't been seen by them in over a year. They gave me Elizabeth the Indian woman. She's new. She declined my prescriptions making me stop them cold turkey,for my migraines… and numbness in my hands and feet and also my anxiety ptsd script. I was already on Topamax/Zoloft and I have been for 3 years with mhmr. Mhmr is trying to kill their patients. She even assked me to describe all my symptoms and why I had been attending the last 3 years. Shouldn't you have that on file? I said there is no point in speaking with you further if you can't assist me. I can't afford Healthcare, that is why I use this service. RUN. DONT WALK. RUN. GET AWAY FROM HERE AND FAST,BEFORE THEY CUT OFF YOUR MEDS AND DEEM YOU UNWORTHY OF MEDICATION RANDOMLY. ACT LIKE THEYVE NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE and refuse you services. There's a wonderful and affordable doctor in NRH Dr Gabrial. Grab him as your new PCP
