Recovery Place Kent – Kent Detox and Rehab Services

Recovery Place Kent – Kent carries a listing for residential treatment and sober living. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Transitional accommodation appears on the record for the period after intensive treatment. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Looks like someone is mad they live in Kent environment, have rude cousins that live there

The staff here are INCREDIBLY rude and disrespectful to all patients, staff talk badly about patients in a second language constantly, Teri lies about treatment plans. They also do not update family at all and lie… saying no ROIs are on file. I filled out an ROI right as I walked in and was told the facility claimed I never filled one out. They rip you away from any and all contact to family/lawyers, use unnecessary restraints, and constantly threaten patients with restraints/seclusion if they are acting in anyway other then “satisfactory”. This place also has a news article out about how they frequently abuse patients, along with drugging patients so they are “easier” to deal with. They also “lose” belongings constantly, Teri is practically never able to be reached/called, even if she gives you her direct number, she called my family once basically to say “sorry not sorry” about how I was treated.

Staff is terrible, at least the two my wife and I were approached by.. we were in two separate vehicles because we had to meet there for our daughter and they approached both of our vehicles as we were leaving and… proceeded to explain to us that “ this was a business” and we needed to leave. Btw.., there was no incident that would warrant this response.

NO COMMUNICATION! Our son signed RoI's (release of information) for us, his alcohol counselor and the court. The staff does not respond to messages or emails from anyone (not even the court). Lack of communication has… delayed our sons placement in a 60 day rehab facility. I would never send anyone here.

Feels like jail. The beds are barely 1 inch thick, every room has an auto locking door that beeps every time it is opened disturbing the client in their room. The food is always served in the “danger zone” for… temperature, always cold never hot.

This facility blatantly lied to use about our family members situation at their facility! Blamed the hospital for doing a discharge and not a transfer lie #1…hospital and DCR did everything right Valley City dropped the… ball on a gravely disabled person. And released him against their Medical advise! There where several other things that could have been done other than immediately trying to send him back to the hospital they should have #1 gotten extension to get them to court the next day DCR (regardless of the continuance ) hold until he got to court set for the very next day! What we were left with was our family member out on the streets for 8 days before we found him! Having to start the process over again if you know anything about the system it’s nearly impossible! Valley City you did not do your job! You put our family member in harms way! DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO THIS FACILITY

The staff at Valley Cities in Kent, that worked with my family member, are absolutely amazing human beings. The Doctor listened to his concerns, respectfully addressed them - without passing judgement and made him feel… like he is a whole person, again. Jeromy, Akeeli, Tami and Teri, not only inspired and encouraged my family member, but they went above and beyond what I expected. I could not let their hard work, support to family members and dedication to helping their clients go unnoticed. Thank you, Valley Cities! The journey may not end right here but because of your care, concern and treatment - our faith has gained strength and my heart has received the much needed fuel that is necessary to keep going. Thank you for allowing God to use your passion and purpose to inspire Hope. You are appreciated! #Istillbelieveinmiracles

Been on a “waiting list” since October and offered no other solutions or answers after having crisis counseling in the past with them, I wonder how long until my mental health is important, because I’m falling apart… daily.
