Awesome place, remember to keep trying till you find the right one
--- I've been going to the Joslin Center, and it's been really great for me. After dealing with depression for a long time, I started seeing my therapist Sandra Hanley. She has helped me so much. She's very… understanding and empowering. A lot of people told me she's really good at what she does, and I completely agree. I'm so grateful to her. The Joslin Center is an amazing place, and my therapist Sandra Hanley is wonderful.
Dangerous place. Do not go here. They raved about a new building and dropped it right in between junkies and homeless people. They walk in and harass the upper floor for handouts. Do not bring children here.
I see a therapist at Josselyn, and don’t have an issue with her. What I’m frustrated with is their psychiatric department not responding to refill requests. My pharmacy submitted a request a week ago, they did not… respond. I called, asking them to please send the refill and they haven’t called me back or send in the refill. It is irresponsible and unconscionable to let a patient run out of a medication and not even care enough to return a phone call!
Very helpful and caring people to talk to . Thank you🩷
I won't trust my child to a provider who didn't find it necessary to answer phone calls and emails for 2.5 months. Yes, that's how long we were on their waiting list. Please, seek help somewhere else. With mental… health, time is of the essence.
If I was able to put a negative star I would, but it doesn’t give me the option Sadly ! please don’t come to this place. I started coming here and the therapist that I had she judged me to which made me stop going to… them and then the therapist, Jennifer Castro that was my sons turned out to be horrible and was finding excuses to drop my son from therapy I asked multiple time to focus on a certain situation about my child. It was not done so and the last thing that she decided to do was just find an excuse to just drop them didn’t even care to help him. Didn’t even care to do anything just please don’t bring your kids or yourself it’s sad. It’s sad that it’s an ugly world and when you look for help, this is what they do to you.
I had Medicad insurance for a short period of time and changed my insurance to Blue Cross Blue Shield. Did an intake in Crystal lake il and showed new insurance card to Chrystal lake. When I waited 2 months for a… counselor they failed to give BCBS insurance which resulted in canceling my appointment for my counseling session. Service is bad and I told them I don't want their service. Jennifer C.
This place is amazing. Locations ehh but they are all so nice, and I love how amazing they make you feel.
My therapist was Kiki and she fell asleep all the time would forget what I said and when I called her when I needed someone to talk to when I was in crisis she was rude like she didn’t want to talk to me I have since… dropped her as my therapist
Thank you for having a great place for mental health and thank you Annette Lemancik!
I’ve been talking to Caitlin for a few months and she’s been so helpful and understanding. It’s been a great experience with her, I would 100% recommended her.
Everyone here is sooo kind...!!
