This place is amazing I've been 3 times and feel like it really helped me tj and ms Serena the charge nurse are my fav staff and my therapists I've had all three times helped
The adolescent unit helped our teen make significant progress. They do care about the kids there and the staff is very patient with them. We really appreciated going to weekly family therapy sessions, and we really… liked and respect their therapist Sarah. We are very grateful they worked with our family. It’s not an easy job.
this place helps but they the staff is a bunch of clowns except brook and tj and caleb and tyler and tylie and ashley all the rest will make ur stay worse
Went here in 2020, right during my sophomore year of High school because I was suicidal and have depression (still do but I see a different therapist now). It had its ups and down. The kitchen staff was fantastic, food… was okay. Almost got sexually assaulted by a girl (mind you I'm a guy), who was around my age at the time. After three months at Willow Crest, I transferred to Moccasin Bend Ranch, where I found out my biggest thing was that I'm autistic (My mom suspected for years, but we are glad we got officially diagnosis). I'm 23 now, but I will say that Willow Crest is WORSE than Moccasin Bend. Moccasin Bend actually LISTENED when I talked about my stuff. Willow Crest didn't do much. Sure, they helped with my ADHD meds and everything, but I got my nose broken by a guy because I had told a girl I'd hurt her because SHE tore up a valuable book of mine. I never raised a hand to this girl, but the guy who punched me acted like I did. I never got physical with anyone. I tended to stick to myself or talk to others who actually saw what I did. Now that I'm out, I talk to the lovely people at Family and Children's Services for therapy because they aren't afraid to address the heavier stuff I deal with, especially since I now work and deal with overstimulation at my work. If you value your kids sanity? Don't admit them to Willow Crest. Admit them to Moccasin Bend Ranch.
I hate this place with a passion. This place is the main reasons for my triggers and trauma. Do NOT send your child here this place is disgusting and terrible.Nurses threatened us with shots if we didn't go to bed and… kids would fight everyday. I was so overstimulated everyday and wanted to find any form of self harm in here from how I hated this place. The food looked like pure slop.
I first went here April 2025 and I was unstable cutting doing substances and all that then I got a little better so in June of 2025 I got out but then I cut my wrist when I got home so I went back then got out in July… and stayed out till November then got better and went home in January and been out since
As a patient who was here for 3 months, the place has its up and downs. For anyone who remembers me (Valkyrja Stinson here!) i was constantly in arguments with kids. This place is completely ghetto and most of us… children were in danger from all the violence. While i was here a boy got jumped and beaten badly and it took about 5 minutes for the staff to do anything. This poor boy was suffering from his own illnesses while now suffering physical pain from the other boys. This place was rather scary and unwelcoming. One night i was having an episode that was causing me to hallucinate, a boy came up to me and tried to hug up on me and i punched him and shoved him . I was so afraid in the moment i was not thinking. Staff stood and watched other than one, Alyssa. Alyssa and Trenton were the best people to me while i was in patient. They responded quickly to my needs and were always there to talk. Alyssa gave me advice on my home life and Trenton helped me find who i am. I love you two so much and u guys made my recovery possible. Nearly a year later i am writing this and i can’t help but wonder what other chaos has happened. Before i came to WillowCrest i had undiagnosed schizophrenia, this made me a little more on the difficult side to handle. There were other kids there suffering from hallucinations as well(i hope they’re doing alright as of now) . I personally had been told that i was faking my condition. I also had an allergic reaction while here and Steven and Alyssa responded quickly as i laid unable to breathe with Alyssa calming me down and Steven getting my papers. I was unable to walk and was wheelchaired over next door to the Integris Hospital where i had steroids taken by IV. If it wasn’t for these two people my condition would’ve worsened. A big thanks to Alyssa, Trenton, Steven, Brad, Brian, Kailey, Chill (sorry for taking ur chip) , and Trish. You guys kept me grounded and helped my recovery. I love you guys and wish you all well.
I went here when I was 11 or 12 for a week it was okay I was on the kids unit and Mrs Bailey really helped a lot then I went to moccasin bend ranch where I stayed for 3-6 months and from time to time it was tough I got… a lot of medicine but it helped a lot I would recommend
I was here in 2020/2021 this place was terrible I never ate gave my food away because it was gross. So many fights and yelling constantly we was locked in rooms all day long.they gave us so many different pills that we… honestly didn’t need. & many kids was hiding the pills and snorting them. There was just so much different kinds of abuse going on in there no kids when I was there actually got help we just made friends and leaned on one another because its all we had.not once did I talk to anybody abt what was going on we just wrote in notebooks.& staff would ignore any sort of abuse going on like we was insane. Overall made my mental health worse I nearly succeeded in taking my life shortly after getting out of here. For the longest time I’d wake up screaming in my sleep from nightmares from being here. Please don’t send your kids here.
Do not send your child here. This place is disgusting. I was abused here. I was in the children's unit 6 hours away from home and kids were Fighting everyday and screaming and overstimulating me and they didn't care when… kids asked me why I was here or if I harm myself. I was triggered constantly and Nurses were cussing and threatening to give everyone shots. The food here was disgusting also and there have been 3 reports about this facility to the state. Would not come here again.
Hey I don’t know if you guys remember I am Chris Hughes and you guys have helped me very much there hasn’t been a day that went by without me thinking about you guys I would definitely recommend for inpatient
We are so thankful for Willow Creek hospital!! They helped our daughter during a big crisis in her life. Her therapist Aaron was truly amazing! He helped our daughter to begin to realize her value and to understand her… trauma. Thank you to everyone for your amazing care!!!!
I went here many times growing up, and I’m giving one star because staff repeatedly ignored and dismissed serious abuse reports. Every single time I spoke up—with proof—nothing was done. Instead, I was threatened with… failed treatment, forced into therapy with someone I said I wasn’t comfortable with, and even watched as my abuser was praised in family therapy while I was silenced. I came here for safety, but was left feeling unheard, unsafe, and betrayed. Staff like Brad handled me so aggressively that I was left with bruises, and yet nothing came from reporting it. Another patient repeatedly behaved inappropriately toward girls, and instead of removing him, staff punished us for speaking up. That sent the message that our safety and dignity didn’t matter. Being called a “waste of space” in a suicide recovery setting is beyond cruel and damaging. Rules were applied inconsistently—some patients were favored while others were treated harshly for the same actions. There were a few staff who genuinely cared, like Ms. Elana (who went above and beyond to help me finish school and find a place to live) and Mr. Joey (who actually listened and treated us with kindness and honesty). But they were the exception. Most of the time, compassion was missing. No child invents their suffering. As mandated reporters, ignoring abuse puts kids in danger. I’m doing better now only because I left that environment—not because of the “help” I received there. Willow Crest’s mission sounds good on paper, but until they truly listen to patients and protect them from abuse, they will continue doing more harm than good.
I was admitted here twice in 2023. This place has good and bad parts to it. There were always a lot of fights. At one point the entire unit had COVID for weeks and it was horrible. At the end of my first stay, one of my… friends managed to slit his wrists and he almost died because the staff werent paying attention at moccasin bend ranch. I will say that i made so many amazing friends in this place. For a mental hospital, the food was also pretty good. Most of the staff were great too. This place truly helped me get better, and i am so grateful for that. Shoutout to Mr. Jason, Mr. Rylee, Ms. Sierra, Mr. Chris, Trish, and everyone else for always being there for me❤️
i was in patient for almost 4 months at first i didn"t like it because i felt like my therapist wasn"t listing to me. but then i made friends and i got closer to the staff at first i was under the impression that they… didn"t like me but really all i had to do was open up. off topic but Christmas was really good there too. LOVED THIS PLACE. i felt like i belonged there
This is the best hospital you can send your kid to! I was there for 6 months and every other hospital would just discharge me after 2 weeks of me pretending but WCH saw past my bs and they knew I wasn’t actually better… and they kept me there til I was actually better. And this is the only place ive been too where all the staff genuinely care about the patients! They also have a great nursing staff like Trish, Amy, and Brad, and they have great techs!! Sam, Ashley, and Heather are some of the best techs that still work there, and they also have great group leaders like Cierra, Amber, and Garrett!! i recommend sending your kids here if you really want them to get better!!!
I was here almost 4 years ago, and i think what helped me the most was the staff, they were super supportive. also being here and receiving help has made me want to further a career in helping kids that were like me. 🖤
I was here in april of 2025 and this place was terrible the staff completely sucked and did nothing like truman would play games instead of actually helping us with are mental health and the only good staff members were… Bernard old night shift brenda shayshay and then that one night shift guy that just quit from what i know of they had you sit in a room all day and basically do nothing but draw watch what the staff wanted to and go insane and the staff were very power trippy like bald jesus is what staff called him and brad like with konner he legit was walking to time out and brad picked him up and slammed him because he called him out and put him in a hold we filed a grievance and they never turned it in when we gave them it so to cut it short if you need help or actually care for your kids don't send them there
I went her back in 2017. I wouldn’t say there was any abuse. But they did give medicine that was not need, the food wasn’t the best, they had a time out room they would lock you in and it was cold, and they always found… some reason to keep me when I was about to leave. My step mom ended up taking me out herself after seeing all these things.
This place rewards the kids for bad behavior by giving them pills. Has anyone actually meet the supposed Dr overseeing their care? If so, is she actually licensed?
Ms Amy is amazing, me Tyler, Ms Shelby really helped me when I was admitted there, to me this place was a 2nd home for me
I was there from July 2024 till September 2024 I was assulted by a staff member named Mr. Rylee. mr Tyler was the best staff he cared about the kids. and so did the front desk lady named Mrs. Cheyanne she often came to… the unit she was also super sweet mrs jessica the ADON she was lovely too they would restraint you sometimes for no reason i would scream just begging them to let me go and that it hurt they wouldn't let u go even if u stated that it hurt. The grievance coordinator took them very seriously. Mr. Nathen another staff there was also the best staff. Mrs. Alexis the therapist was hands down the best along with Ms. Kayla. There was a lot of sneaking in rooms and bathrooms together i think I would go there again if I had to but altogether it wasn't bad. Mr brad stated he didn't like me because I didn't listen when I asked him why he was so rude to me which kinda upset me he was a nurse. Btw ms Trish the charge nurse was the best she didn't put up with my crap but was also very loving and understood my issues and helped me work through them. She needs a raise cuz she is awesome. she is one of the very few staff there that cares
I'm sorry so many people had a bad experience I think they might have recently came under New Management. My daughter is not a problem child never has been she followed the rules everything went good they treated her… awesome. The only bad thing was the phone calls were so short. My daughter got treated with respect.
I would recommend sending a troubled kid here , was here years ago and have a career and my own family. It gets better 💚
I've called this place desperately for weeks trying to get my child help and they've denied him ever time.
I went to this mental hospital last year for a suicide attempt, the staff is absolutely horrible and i had came out as a trans boy and instead of doing the basic things such as use my preferred name and pronouns they… would berate me for being trans and make my mental health worse, all i wanted to do was get better and they made it worse. My therapist was amazing there but other than a couple staff members, every single one was horrible to both me and my other teenage peers, i had watched a girl slit her wrists and another beat up and i got no such thing as ptsd treatment, i was also threatened on multiple occasions by other patients and when telling the staff nothing happened. I was also put on purge watch and nobody made sure i wouldn’t relapse in the bathroom/shower, plus the calls were too short and the staff members would yell at you or take the phone away if you were to be on there too long, plus i wasn’t put on any new meds to help my mental health. I was stuck in there for a month and i tried all i could to get out of there because it just made me more traumatized and zombified then i was before i got in.
