The nursing staff are amazing and the counselors are also amazing every single one of them they teach you tools you need to beat this ugly disease we live with ! Avera thank you for helping me save my life and get back… on track !!

From the first phone call to the last good-bye, this place was amazing!!!! The staff are outstanding and truly care for your success. The facility is nicer than most hotels, and the food is far better than what you… would expect from a medical facility. I walked into AACC full of doubt, fear and anxiety. I left AACC as a new and better version of me before addiction. This place helped me change my health, my relationships, and my confidence to know I am better than my addiction. I strongly recommend this care center to anyone looking for help. The friendships I made with residents as well as staff will never be forgotten. The scale goes to 5, but I will give this a 6 star rating because it's one better!

Best place to rebound my mental health, unfortunately I may be going back, but so blessed this is an option.

Staff were dismissive of my medical needs. They did not give any weight to my personal health knowledge. They do not address needs or paperwork in a timely manner. I was treated as a second thought and had to figure out… almost everything for myself. Was told to leave if I didn't like how things were.

Would have to say one of the best treatment facilities in the nation. No complaints at all and was extremely helpful with my addiction.

Brand new 5 star addiction care facility is Sioux Falls, SD. In my opinion, exponentially better than the Hazeldon Betty Ford center in Center City, Minnesota which is considered one of, if not, the very best in the… world. The program is not so heavily focused on AA and the 12 step program. There is actually MORE dual diagnoses therapeutic help than was received even at the Mayo clinic. You will learn DBT, CBT, coping skills and other invaluable tools to achieve a successful reintegration back into a normal, sober life. Accommodations are the equivalent to a 5 star hotel. Rooms are all private. Detox has a single hospital bed, private bathroom, large flat screen tv with the most compassionate and exceptionally talented staff I have ever experienced personally. Once you are medically stable, you are moved into your private room, queen sized bed, bathroom shared via the hallway with only one other resident, private climate controls, sink and wardrobe. At this point, individual rooms don't have TVs to help facilitate socialization and focusing on your recovery. The homey décor is something right out of Architectural Digest. The executive chefs provide Michelin Star quality food accessible 24/7. You won't go hungry. After 3 years sober, I still remember the names of every single staff member as if they were a part of my own family. The most difficult part of my experience there was having to leave. I didn't want to go home. Hands down, one of the most productive and efficacious experiences of my life. But, no treatment program will ever be effective if you don't take the tools you're taught and implement them in your personal life. I miss the staff so much. You won't regret your decision to seek treatment at this facility.
