There seems to be a severe lack of communication at this location! Also, a lot of rudeness from the front desk staff! I just called to make an appointment with my counselor for before a group that is on Thursdays at 10… am. The rude front desk person told me that there wasn't any group on Thursday mornings. I attempted to explain to her that I've been going to group on Thursdays at 10. She started arguing with me! In an even tone I tried to explain again that there was a group at 10 am. "Mam there isn't a group at 10 on Thursdays!" Then, she just transferred me over to my counselor! Which is fine, becsuse unlike the front desk staff, my counselor cares a lot about her clients and the group that she runs at 10 am! I am always pleasant when I speak to them on the phone and when I speak to them in person. The front desk always seems to have an attitude with clients. Treating us like we don't know what we're talking about, because we have mental issues. I guarantee that I know what I am talking about! There is a group on Thursdays at 10 am!

Anju Gill is my care Manager at best self she is very helping, she helped me a lot in my all health related intakes and paperwork. She is the best care Manager. She has been a great help and needs to expand her reach!

Anju Gill is my case manager, my navigator. She is very attentive and when I call her she comes quickly, and she is always on top of my appointments.

My Care Manager Anju Gill did good job for me. My Medicaid was inactivated she helped me a lot to re activate. I am happy from her she is the best CM in Bestself behavior health.

Do not go here they rude do not know how to deal with a disabled person and my counseling session is trying to explain myself the guy didn't let me and he asked me to leave for no reason because I'm trying to take my… time and explain myself they don't have patience here

I see Dr. Sandy at Best Self for my MAT treatment and she is amazing. She is one of the most caring addictions doctors that you will ever encounter. She will encourage you when you are doing very well, and even when you… are struggling. There is no judgment and this is important for people who truly want help. Being able to be honest without feeling threatened or judged is what truly made the difference in my treatment and my ability to be pulling in 5 years drug free. She is always available and she does not play games with your recovery. If/when there are ever issues with the pharmacy, she responds rapidly to make sure you never have to go without which is very important while maintaining sobriety. There are many moving parts when it comes to sobriety but Dr. Sandy is going to be your rock through it, I guarantee it. 💯 Thank you for all that you do Dr. Sandy. Your heart is truly in this with us. This is for my friend in the photo who didn't have the same opportunity in his recovery and who is no longer with us. He didnt have a doctor who he could be honest with out of fear of losing his treatment. We need more like Dr. Sandy to give us the best chances and the running start that is necessary to get through this terrible disease. R.I.P. Timmy.

I had to do a walk-in in order to be seen because the appointment would have been way too far away from the present date to be any practical help to me.i did the intake rather swiftly and pleasantly but while in with… the case manager I had informed her that I had to relieve my bladder and she said for me to wait that we will be over in 10 minutes......( ? ) On second thought she got up and showed me where the bathroom was. Which I thought was strange. But getting past that after I done the intake I've been waiting for a phone call for my appointment for days...... I have called transferred all over the place and then ultimately hung up on toy dismay.

Ive been homeless since march of 2023 I signed up with bestself in may of 2023 Still homeless February of 2025 Worker signed me up for a program i can't go into due to mental and yet blames you for not accepting it.… Dont use bestself

My sister has been going to this place for years. She has ptsd and a panic disorder. She is unable to work due to her anxiety of being around people. She has asked for help many of times and gets no help. Finally talked… her into leaving them for good.

Worst place ever experienced

Great experience in a treatment program, they give you a team to help along your path, and my team, wouldn't change one person.. you have to trust that they will give you everything you need, it's up to you what you do… with it... Highly recommended.

If I could give a zero I would! My family member goes to amherst location. They have not given him a proper diagnosis, he continues to fall deeper and deeper into his depression and anger and they have these young… counselors who don't do anything but "listen" and offer no help. Why in the world you give a 77 yr old man with severe mental issues to a 30 is counselor who clearly doesn't know what they are doing and the meds there are a joke! They won't listen to the family and the abuse continues. Also...they just take the insurance money and do not help the patient! Disgraceful

Services are okay

Do not go here if you are in crisis. I’ve been trying to find housing assistance for two years. Nobody has any resources. You only work with each case managers for a few weeks to a few months at a time before they get… reassigned and you have to start over. I recommend finding a therapist if you can afford it bc they’re more experienced and generally have at least some access to community resources.

worse company ever! The management team don’t know how to hire people! They end up loosing good counsellors, and they keep the bad and incompetent ones! yall need more capable workers! DO BETTER! HIGHLY WOULDN’T… RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

I have the best worker there

This place is a joke. I had a counselor at worst self that was not trying to help me. She tried to recommend medication for me and when I asked her why, she really didn't have a reply other than the fact that my… children were removed from our home. Something very strange about this establishment.

Your Best Self begins some where else should be their moto! They don't have any respect for the clients there, and the clients don't speak up because they're too busy struggling with their mental illnesses and because… they're probably used to people treating them like they don't count. Maybe if they hired educated employees instead of people that are just chum with upper management it could be a place of helpfulness instead of hopelessness. Very sad.
