Bobby Buonauro Clinic Inc – Evanston

I was going 3xs a week and I had 12-14 clean drops and they never wanted to change my code to 1x a week. But they did for this 1 female and she's been n still is dirty for 2 years. That is not fair!!! They have there… picks. Im so glad I left. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE!!! OH, and also they messed up on 2 of my drops, they said they were dirty but wen the same day dcfs dropped me I WAS CLEAN!!!

The best place ever to recover and get the help you need

Kim and Melonie are the most welcoming , kind hearted, caring individuals. I never once feel judged and as an addict I’m used to being treated so. But not here. I’m treated like the human being I am and with respect.… They really do the most to make the environment a more welcoming enjoyable experience. When I first came here I was broken and lost in addiction just trying to look for a way out and this place really helped me get on the right path. Recovery is possible and keep going!!!

LOVE, LOVE this clinic!!!! Only clinic my husband & I have joined that treat you with the upmost respect. Melanie & Kim go above & beyond their jobs plus more. They make sure your all set up & don’t need any other… resources also. My counselor Chris is unbelievable! First counselor I’ve had that can relate & I actually want to talk & open up. Such a fresh of breath air there, it gives ya hope for once. Thank you guys for everything you guys do🩷

Great 👌 place " They really make you feel at home 🏠.As for some of us that never had a family or what it may it be .....This place makes you part of their family 💯🦍💯 not a 💰 amount . They give back in many ways ... From… snacks , clothes , hygiene products , respecting & treating an individual like a human being and showing appreciation , understanding , & grace no matter what walk of life you come from ... I get poked by this purple cactus 🌵 every other day & happily greeted by all ... From the front desk Ms.Kim 'to the counselors , Mr. Will , Dr. , Nurses , down to the fish.... May Bobby Buonauro Rest In Paradise & would I have loved to meet him and Thank him in person for all his help...

The best staff of counselors,nurses, doctor that you could ever hope for , and they make you feel respected. Great CLINIC!!!

I have been on the clinic for a number of years and I have never had a problem they are very professional nice warm-hearted and people you can count on and you know you're getting real doctoral help rather than people… who don't know what they're doing I wouldn't go anywhere else

This is the only place I would ever recommend to anyone else as far as recovery. I owe them my life! ;)

I could never express enough gratitude I have for Melanie, Kim and the rest of the staff. When I sued Dupage County Jail for access to my methadone while I had to do 30 days. They worked with the ACLU, Legal Action… Center and other agencies to support me. They even offered to bring it to me daily! They have boundaries, as we all should. At times I've gotten upset but at the end of the day I have nothing but respect for the staff at this clinic they have gone beyond those boundaries at times. ☮️💜💫

Compared to other clinics ESPECIALLY this one is pretty great.

I attended this clinic for 2 years. In those 2 years I had one dirty drop. That was my initial drop. So for rewarding abstinence I only had to go twice a month for my medication pickup. I made a silly mistake and I… didn't like the way I was spoken to by Melanie, so I decided to leave that clinic and go to one closer to my house. For retribution because I left that clinic the new clinic was lied to by Melanie which told them that I had a code six and was supposed to go in 6 days a week for medication pickup. This could have impacted my life in so many negative ways that I will not go into now, but the worst of them would be a possible termination from my job. An unethical woman like that should not hold sway over the destiny of any individual. I believe the correct terminology here would be major POWER TRIP!

Truth is this is probably the best clinic in the city, period. They are honest and efficient and don’t make you jump through hoops, plus the prices are good. Downsides: they are very limited on insurance they accept,… and mgr in charge can tend to be slightly tough to deal with. Anyway, counselor is great, as is the nurse, and the girl at front desk has the patience of Gandhi. I don’t suppose it’s easy running the place. So, with that being said, they’re easily the best thing going and are nice people. Just do the right thing, count your carry outs, and you'll like the place.

0 stars I have a family member who was treated very terribly here. Do not send your loved ones here without additional outside support. The counselors and director (Melanie) do not have your best interests at heart. I… recommend looking into Family Guidance Center in Des Plaines - they offer a different approach and offer a lot more Healthcare options as well as support and general compassion.

This clinic and the amazing people there have saved my life so many times. This is a place where they truly care about their clients, and in a way that many of us desperately need. As people with addiction many of us… are used to being mistreated and judged by healthcare professionals, even by those who are supposed to help us. It’s totally different here. Every client is treated with caring and respect from the moment they walk in. The staff go out of their way on a daily basis to make our days better and brighter. Even the look of the place is completely different from any other clinic Ive ever seen. The environment is warm and welcoming, and holidays are particularly fun- with decorations galore and treats. I can talk to my counselor or the director about anything without fear of being judged and I’ve gotten valuable help and advice from them over the years. I don’t know what I would ever do without BB’s. Kim and Melanie, the nurses and the counselors are as close to me as family. I only wish there were more places like this out there because there are so many of us suffering. If you want to change your life in a positive way, you won’t find a better place or more caring people.

I've been to 5 clinics and this was the only one that got me 2 years sobriety. They're so welcoming and everyone feels like family. It's more than a clinic it's the reason I'm alive.

I've been on methadone for almost 40 years. I've been on clinic from FL to IL. I guest dosed all over the US so I've seen a lot of clinics. BBC is by far the best in every area. Cleanliness, knowledgeable, friendliest,… over all helpful in ensuring you get on your road to recovery.

I came to this clinic several years ago in complete and utter dispare. I met my own all time low in my dependencies on so many different opioids . Most of the ones that I have taken were prescriptions that were… prescribed by doctors and others weren't. When I finally heard about B.B.C.I knew that it was the right place for me. I was ready, but also terrified 😰 to meet the staff who I first thought would have no respect for me as a human being that was in dyer need of help. I was 110% wrong on all accounts. I was amazed by the freshly decorated atmosphere continuesly updated by our (Asst Director)Kimberly Crouch. Kim is the most consciously, caring, considerate person who I ever had the pleasure of meeting and have in my corner through my whole process of being in the program. I can honestly say, that I feel that I can tell her anything and have. Good or Bad , family emergencies, has she has helped me even when I didn't know that I needed it. Melanie Warsaw(Asst Director/Owner)is a very capable professional ,capable Director and counselor when necessary and goes above and beyond her responsibilities to be a caring person who can relate with some of the many other medical conditions and concerns that I have had and to this day treating. Above and beyond, All of her work and responsibilities. She still takes time to answer any of my questions and or concerns in timely manner. I am pleased to have a counselor like Chris. His words of advice,and encouragement mean a lot to me! Thank All of You at B.B.C! I have a ways can go on my journey of sobriety, but only with the help of others like B.B.C and the Good Lord above will my long-term sobriety be a success!! I can hope only there will be more places opening with this much Professionalism and Empathy for more people that are in need of the very best care for their needs and conditions.

This place is wonderful! They have saved my life. The staff is wonderful. I love walking in and seeing Kim's beautiful smile.

This place is amazing, Kim makes it feel like home always decorating for every season & holiday :) nurses are always nice & greet you with a smile every time, doctor & Melanie are great always listening to concerns &… answering any question you might have. Counselor’s & Staff are wonderful I absolutely love coming here, will not change a thing! :)

After being on methadone for 10+ years, I had a rather cynical idea of what to expect from a clinic. When I moved to Skokie from Chicago in 2020 and transferred to Bobby Buonauro, it completely changed my expectations.… From the moment you walk in the door and see the cute and ever-changing seasonal decor—Kim and crew put so much work into making their office feel safe, clean, and comfortable—it’s evident that this clinic is unique. From a healthcare perspective, Bobby Buonauro offers the critical component that’s missing from so many recovery programs: individualized treatment. Simply being checked in by staff who remember your face, versus having to repeat an ID number visit after visit, makes such a difference. The staff at Bobby Buonauro are a cut above in terms of medical expertise and caring. Other clinics could stand to learn some things from how this office operates.

this is not just a methadone clinic, this is a place that saves lives. i would still be hopeless, lost and digging deeper into rock bottom if it weren't for the kindness and laughter the staff have shown me. plus, the… doctor is the funniest and smartest man you'll ever meet. i travel past 3 closer methadone clinics to get to this one because the service they produce can't even compare to the others and they make me feel like i actually you a shot at successfully doing this. please, if you are even thinking of getting clean, come here. they call me when they're worried about me, there is never an ounce of judgement and they only care that you find yourself in a better place than when you started.

Ive worked as a nurse for over 15 yrs so I've met many medical personnel but there a lil different here .First usually your Dr doesn't have time to answer your ❓ well the Dr here is exact opposite lol I grew grey hair… speaking with him but in a good way! He is very interested in your problem. The counselors are COOL Wich is important if your going to this type of clinic and the RNs are quick and sweet. Last but not least is Kim and melony. Kim is that woman who asks about your sick Aunt or your dogs vet visit , sometimes you wanna scream let's move it because she's to talking with the people in line but once again in this type of clinic that's the type of care you need . Melony she's got the "Bright Hair" and a contagious 😊 she's never sitting down even though she has the biggest and most plush office in the place! She's always running around helping Doc when he's in ,helping people with insurance,rides etc.... The decor in the place well you have to see to believe! Very homey! I've visited 2 other clinics in the city and you thought you were waiting inside of a "crack house" this place you feel like your walking in your house but please keep your shoes on !!!!

Best decision I made to get help and Bobby Buonauro Clinic is by far the best place to get that help. Everyone is super nice, helpful, and caring. They do not look at you or treat you like an addict they treat you like… a normal person who just needs guidance. If your looking to get help please come here you won’t regret your decision!
