My experience at JMS Recovery unfolded gradually over several months, and that steady pace made a real difference for me. During the first month, the focus was on detox and getting physically stable, which helped me… regain a basic sense of balance. In the second month, therapy became more consistent and more challenging, pushing me to look honestly at long standing patterns and habits I had avoided. By the third month, I started noticing clear improvements in my mood, focus, and ability to handle stress without shutting down. Each phase built naturally on the last, with the staff staying patient and consistent throughout the process. There was no rush, just steady guidance and accountability. By the time I finished, the progress felt real and lasting, and it gave me confidence to move forward on solid ground.
Before coming to JMS Recovery I was nervous about the detox process and how my body would handle it. The medical staff explained everything clearly from the start and stayed with me through every stage. Those first few… days were tough, but I always felt safe and supported. After detox, therapy sessions helped me rebuild my confidence and focus on emotional healing. The structure of the program made recovery feel manageable and real. By the time I left, I felt stronger, healthier, and more balanced than I had in years. JMS Recovery truly guided me back to stability.
Wasn’t expecting much, honestly. I’ve seen a lot of places talk big but feel cold once you’re inside. This one felt different. No fake smiles or scripts—just people who actually gave a damn.I wasn’t looking for some… miracle, just something real. That’s what I found. Got what I needed without the fluff. Simple, clean, solid.
Man, JMS Recovery gave me more than just a second chance — they gave me my damn life back. I was deep in it... like real bad. Detox was brutal, not gonna lie, but the folks here didn’t flinch. They walked me through… every step, even when I was a complete mess.It ain’t just about getting clean here — it’s about figuring out how to live again without the crutch. The counselors weren’t just reading out of some book, they knew what I was feeling. Group sessions hit hard, and somehow I ended up laughing again — hadn’t done that in years. If you’re tired of the chaos, this spot’s the real deal.
JMS Recovery gave me the fresh start I didn’t know I needed. The place was calm, well-run, and full of people who actually cared. From the first day, I felt like they understood what I was going through — no judgment,… just support. The program was structured but never felt too strict. Group talks were honest and powerful, and one-on-one sessions helped me work through the heavy stuff. I walked out of JMS feeling stronger, clearer, and more hopeful than I’ve felt in years. They helped me believe in myself again — for real.
JMS Recovery is that spot where everything starts to turn around. You roll in beat down, maybe hangin’ by a thread, and they don’t flinch. They know the chaos, the withdrawals, the guilt—all of it. Detox is smooth but… tough, and they’re right there with you every step. No fake smiles or cookie-cutter plans—just a crew that listens, cares, and pushes you to get your life back. JMS doesn’t just clean you up—they help you figure out how to stay clean and actually live. If you’re ready to stop barely makin’ it and start fightin’ for yourself, JMS is the move.
If you are looking for a good place to help you with an addiction problem, this is the place to go. It is a wonderful facility and so helpful. The staff is kind and caring and help you learn the tools to live a normal… and sober life! Thank you Friendship Connection for all you have done. I appreciate everything you have done for me!
If you're looking for an easy way out or just something to do, this isn't the place. However, if you seriously want help and are eager to recover and live an addiction free life, then TFC is where you want to be.
🙌🏾🙏🏽 Dr. B is such an amazing, caring, loving understanding person I'm almost 6 months clean with 2 months being at the connections Praises to God, I leave in the morning I've completed my course with 2 certificates of… completion!! Thank you Lord!!
I am a graduate of Friendship Connection. This program is exactly what I needed. The structurized environment made for a great recovery experience. The staff was wonderful though very strict and at times a little harsh.… The one on one and group therapies made the healing process easier. I will forever be grateful to Friendship Connection.
I'm a graduate from Friendship. Some of the staff is helpful and really nice. There were some that it seem like they didn't care. It is a good place for convicts to get a fresh start and some of the rules are… wishywashy. It was like some of the time they couldn't make up their minds how they wanted it to go. It is an old building and it did have issues but the other people in the building made it bearable.
I am a graduate of friendship! Dont go if you want to be pampered and babied or play around with your addiction! But if you are truly tired and ready for a better way to live, friendship can give you that! It did for me… and I am still clean and sober. I have a relationship with my kids and an amazing support system... all of which came from The friendship Connections! I love you guys!
Good help and support for a friend.
Staff was very unorganized. also, i didn't know better until i did it but i was able to walk right up into their back door into the building, even after there was no security.
Helpful
The staff is so sweet and kind and helpful
Good treatment but some of it is shady. Building is run down with cockroaches. did have a foundation problem but is fixed now the environment is not that professional or clean. but it's a good place for convicts to get… a second chance at life. the place is old fashioned and the rules are wishywashy.
