Good location. Nice, clean office. Dr. Raz was very polite and understanding. Thanks for your help.
The billing department here is terrible and scam artists. They had my insurance on file but made one of my appointments self pay, and then instead of billing my insurance they made me pay the amount I owed and then get… the refund. It’s also taking them weeks to refund me a charge and they said that after 100 days they can’t do it electronically. It has to be by mail.
been a patient for years. Went on vacation 2 years ago and had no problem getting my prescription sent out of state. They changed their policy without informing me. Now I’m left on vacation without a medication i’ve… taken for years. Thanks for ruining my trip Clarity 🤘🏽
Dr Raz was very personable and helpful
It's been a bad experience all around - Dr. Hussain can barely keep his notes straight on my kid and simply does not listen. Terrible people skills and their billing department / patient portal have mismatching records… which has only added to the confusion. Good luck getting anyone on the phone to help... the hold music is good though, until you wait for 10 minutes just to be told to leave a voicemail.
They are extremely difficult to work with, Seem incompetent. All I need is a script sent to a pharmacy. They said they sent it but the pharmacy doesn't have it. They blame the pharmacy. Rather than just resend it (which… would be the intelligent course of action) they keep arguing that it has been sent.
they do not care about helping people or making sure mentally ill people get the medication they need. if i knew how to file a complaint against the licensing board i would
My family has also been having challenges with Gabriella. She seems dismissive of side effects of meds, down playing symptoms and diagnostic, and also even gave a wrong prescription. I would recommend to look for… another provider. Also, they’ve been billing a 10-20mins appointment as therapy. What kind of therapy was that? Just talking about side effects and changing meds for the nth time. And not even listening and acknowledging the patient.
Have needed to make a change with my mental health plan for some time, found clarity clinic online and set up an appointment. The process was so easy, Ronisha is extremely understanding and I felt no shame or anxiety in… sharing things with her. Definitely would recommend.
in my first week as a patient, my group therapist conducted an hour an a half group therapy session while she had blood gushing from her mouth the entire time. She said she could not got to the dentist or emergency… room, because the Clarity Clinic was so short staffed. After this and other very unprofessional behavior at this clinic, i left the program. upon getting the bill, i discovered, I was charged the full price for the day my group therapist was bleeding the entire session. When I emailed asking about this to the clinical director she wrote that this matter did not concern her department. She is the director of the entire Arlington Heights clinic!
This office has great and professional people working there.
The staff is great! However, the doctor of the business clarity clinic shockingly turned out to be incompetent, inadequate, and even somewhat egocentric! After 7 years of being a patient at clarity clinic I discovered… that he was not responding or working with my primary care physician despite numerous attempts to reach him regarding a very serious matter!
It was very comfortable and understanding to actually have someone listen to your story. It made me comfortable and have someone listen with understanding. Looking forward to my next visit.
The worst. I have been trying to get my appointment disputed for 2 months now. The clinic themselves told me they would dispute my appointment since i received absolutely no treatment. The director gave me a phone call… and hung up in my face. I saw the provider “Gabriella” and she made me feel bad about myself for an hour and waited till the end of the appointment to say that all my paperwork isn’t complete on their end so they can’t treat me (but the paperwork shows complete on my end??). First of all, why is the company trying to make me pay for an appointment where I received no treatment, second of all why are you all trying to make me pay for an appointment you all said you would dispute?? The billing dept said that my balance was zero just to shut me up then you all charged me 2 days later? Then when I try to call the billing department (for the past 2 months) nobody answers and they do not return any calls. DO NOT COME TO THIS CLINIC!!!!!!!! It’s a headache that’s not worth it.
My experience Today was heartwarming that I will get the help I need to live a more productive life and more confidence. Thank you. Sheena Patel, PA-C - you made me feel so comfortable to talk to you.
We met Dr Kumail Hussain for my ASD son dealing with anxiety & ARFID. I filled out all 14 forms prior to our appointment asking about his whole history and why we are visiting here along with scanned forms from his… hospital visits so that Dr is prepared to see my son and what to expect. Unfortunately my son was having behavioral issues and I had to wait outside while my husband stayed inside talking to doctor. My husband did not like how unprepared he was. Asking so many questions as if he didnt read any paperwork we were forced to fill out prior to appointment otherwise they would cancel us if not done within 48 hours of appointment. Upsetting. When I finally came back in, doctor does not look at me at all as I answer more of his questions. He only speaks and looks at my husband as I am standing there. Never have I felt invisible by a professional in my life. This was very shocking but I let it continue to see if he would acknowledge my presence. That never happened. I have my strong opinion of what I would call this but I'll let you decide. Please make sure you fully read all the forms they make you sign because they have very strict policy they want you to understand. I knew from those forms we should not have came but their reviews said they help adolescent patients which he proved to be false. He did not have the patience or understanding to help my son or talk to a female.
Poor customer service and patient management.
I had scheduled an appt a few weeks ago for my 11 year old. This clinic waited a day before our 8am appt (called today at 450pm) and stated the provider would not be in so they need to cancel. I advised the receptionist… who scheduled my child's initial appt that it was a very urgent need. I can't imagine a less professional establishment than one to call and cancel a new patient appt and then advise you, next available would be END OF APRIL. Absolutely ridiculous- and clearly, your front end staff do not give an iota about the mental health and well being of patients/potential patients.. because unfortunately we do not have that amount of time to wait to get her someone to talk to.
The people in the office are very nice. And the psychiatrist I spoke to was very kind and listen to me very well and I would recommend this place.
Recommend looking elsewhere given the hassles of very poor customer service / billing will be such a pain they may offset some of your mental health gains (somewhat tongue in cheek, though it’s really bad). It’s just… not worth risking collections and your credit score from Clarity Clinic’s incompetence. As I look through the other reviews, I see this is a multi-year problem that has not been addressed by Clarity Clinic. Clarity Clinic incorrectly billed one of many therapy sessions out of network with a sizeable personal charge; I asked them to correct the issue and bill it in network (they are in network, all other charges are in network). Went back and forth multiple times with Shenita in billing department 3+ times. She refused to help. Finally had to escalate to my insurer, and they are having issues. It now is taking Clarity Clinic 30-45 days to investigate this 5 month old problem. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s a shame the great providers are dragged down by this, but there is really no good way to work with Clarity Clinic billing and hence not worth the trouble.
Professional, prompt, very short wait time for an appointment
I had an appointment with Gabriella today and she was amazing. She not only made me feel seen, but she really got to the bottom of what would work for me personally. It’s a breath of fresh air to feel heard by your… doctor and an even better experience when they listen and cater to your needs. Highly recommend
