About Clarvida Community Crisis Center – Boise
Clarvida Community Crisis Center operates from 7192 Potomac Drive in Boise. The site sits in Ada County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Boise City and Garden City. Idaho draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Outpatient care is delivered here. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Clarvida Community Crisis Center
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Clarvida Community Crisis Center Reviews and Ratings
What patients and their families say about Clarvida Community Crisis Center sits alongside the licensing and accreditation detail on this page. Reading the two together gives a fuller picture of this Boise program than either gives alone.
The staff here are beyond amazing, and the environment is so welcoming. I've taken a couple of friends there and went in myself. The sense of relief, just being able to talk and receive thoughtful feedback and… questions, is amazing!
very rude staff
11-26-25: Don't bother wasting your time going. Was Amazed at how disrespectful staff was when I attempted to admit; quickly left and would never go back. Word to the wise: STAY AWAY!
I came here voluntarily because I was struggling to find resources for mental health care. My mom had found this place on Reddit and recommended it to me, so I had no idea what a crisis center entailed. It was… wonderful. The front desk clerk was kind and knowledgeable, easily able to tell me about what lies ahead after checking in. I gave up my personal items (very happy they let me keep wearing my beanie), and was directed to wait. I was so afraid to move, but every staff member was comforting and suggested I look around. There were couches, tables, and beds; it felt truly like a community place. The same front desk clerk invited me to finish the check-in process, and I was able to tell her more about why I was there. She was extremely responsive, immediately willing to find resources for me while I continued through the motions. I then waited a little, and I felt at ease enough to grab a drink of water. I was then medically assessed, just basic vitals, and then a little more waiting. This time, I felt confident enough to take a book off the shelf to read. Then I met with the mental health professional, and she asked questions and allowed me to speak without any interruptions or judgement. She even shared some of her own stories when appropriate, and it felt nicely personal. When asked, "what activity always cheers you up?" the only thing to come to mind was that I still loved playing dress up (I'm 22). I'd never felt so supported on this coping mechanism because I always felt ridiculous talking about it, but she allowed me to embrace it. During the next waiting time while they were only trying to print resources for me, another staff member brought out donated dresses for me to try on! I'm almost in tears writing now because it was exactly what I needed then. I had so much fun in a place I never expected to be fun! It was truly amazing how much everyone really cared and still acted like real people with their own personalities. I'm mostly a shut in, and leaving the house is agonizing for me. This was the positive reinforcement I needed, and since then I've been creating more opportunities to get out and interact with the world. Everyone here has my biggest thanks for changing my direction in life; I no longer feel so lost on what to do about my mental health struggles. Better yet, they let me keep my favorite dresses!! I'm going back today to make a few donations of my own because I want everyone to receive the incredible help I was blessed with.
I just went tonight as my therapist gave me an ultimatum between here or cottonwood after a very concerning incident. Of course i chose here since it was free and entirely voluntary. I was very against it at first,… crying for a half hour before going in. after having to be forced to check in (by a friend not the staff) i was greeted and welcomed with nothing but kindness and compassion. I had planned to walk back out the doors after the person who had dropped me off left, but I stayed. The night shift crew were so amazing. They made me feel heard and like i was cared about. I want to thank Casey the peer counselor for his help. He was one of the first people i met and he just started talking while i waited to see a therapist. He was open from the start and carried most of our first conversation since i was not in the mood to talk. Apparently, that was what i needed. We had a beautiful conversation about addiction, suicide, and mental health. He’s incredibly insightful and emotionally intelligent, more importantly he made me feel human and treated me as an equal. We talked more later on and he helped me work through some issues deciding what to do next. He didn’t tell me what to do but he asked questions that made me think about i wanted to do. Truly a unique person and made my experience so much less nerve wracking since this was my first experience getting professional help like this. I feel more clear on what i plan to do next and how to go about it. Talking with casey may have saved my life tonight. The rest of the staff were also amazing and i wish i had more of a chance to speak with them more in depth, they also made my experience 10x better than i expected it to be. They were reassuring, non judgmental, and made me feel like i had autonomy over my treatment. They are all such lovely people and went above and beyond for me. I cant thank them enough for their help. If you are thinking about going, do it, it is not as bad as you may think, they want to help in any way they can.
I was open and honest with them about my suicidal thoughts and recent break up, I opened up how every time I reach out for help, life only gets worse and they sent a wellfare check where they forced me into a psyche… ward, while I was in the psyche ward, I got a call I was being evicted, my family never wants to see me again and I might be sent to prison, because cops told my entire family what about my honesty with the crisis center, I lost everything. I haven't heard anything about my suicidal thoughts or my breakup. All I hear is that my life is ruined. I just sit in my bed these days instead of addressing anything. I wanted help and got none. That's just life. No help.
Idk what the 1stars are about, I've been treated like a human being, they will help you to where you need to go.
This place saved my life. I need to talk to someone right now. They gave me a chance to calm down, have a bite to eat, I had a feeling someone cared about me. Then I talked with a professional about what was going on in… my life. We didn't solve any problems that moment, but it was free, I didn't get to ride in a police car, I knew from that moment I always had a place to go. Give yourself a chance.
I was having a real rough time and was treated like a druggie, pushed through the process and finally talked to a so called therapist that was so unprofessional. 0 stars
I can't say enough positive things about this place. I have a great therapist and peer support specialist because of this place. They also work with my psychiatrist. I'm getting better because of my hard work and the… support of a great care team.
This place is awful if your having a mental health crisis in the night. I was treated like a drug addict, had no good interactions with others and the place stunk of cigarettes and feet. Maybe clean the carpets, get… more social and understanding staff. I felt like I was trapped and in a cage the entire time I was here. I had to go through 2-3 people just to get something I had previously asked for. Will never come here again.
Personal experience, they are extremely unprofessional. Stay away for your own good.
If you go here they will treat you like a drug addict because this is all they know. As nice as they are unless you get treated as less of a human, there's nothing they can do.
Kind, safe, caring, and clean.
Can't speak for walk in or daytime phone staff but graveyard staff could really use improvement with information/knowledge about the facility and it's services, as well as professionalism, people calling shouldn't feel… patronized or left on hold for lengths of time
The staff here are very compassionate and get you the help you need. The reason the 3 stars, is that Pathways will ask for insurance cards if needing a higher level of care to get you the help you need. Pathways Crisis… Center keeps these insurance card information and bills your insurance for the care at Pathways without your consent or knowledge. Every doctor's office or medical facility I've been to has you sign consents about billing insurance. This is supposed to be a free community facility. I assume it's a grant based or non-profit facility. So, if you give your insurance information for getting a higher level of care just know Pathways will bill your insurance for Pathways services over $300 but won't pay for a taxi back home if unable to get a higher level of care. If you go additional times, again Pathways Crisis center still holds onto insurance information from previous admissions and will bill insurance without knowledge/consent.
Compassionate and professional.
False information they do not let everyone who needs help.
They're friendly/ not mean people... Might be different with others but I felt they Lack Motivation, Intent, Caring, Interest, Helping, Guidance, and working with... Basically people that work there seem like that's not… the career/ responsibility they desire in life.
This is a fantastic service for anyone who needs a little help to get started on their road to recovery from Drugs, or mental health. Their counselors are fantastic. Pathways has a nurse on site who can assist with… withdrawls or other medical needs. This is a great place to reach out to if you need a safe place to lay your head at night. If you need help, reach out, their are plenty of resources in our community to get you out of whatever you need help from.
