Clarvida – Gallatin Reviews and Ratings

I would stay as far away from this agency as possible. Once I adopt I’m done. I would love to continue but not with them. It was an amazing company when we first started years ago but since new came in and/or promoted… it went down. No issues get resolved. My next step is filing a complaint with DCS commissioner about this company.
This review is years old now, I can just now provide an objective review not created in the heat of the moment. Long story short do not use Camelot or Calvida or whatever they call themselves now. We had a horrible… experience with them and the caseworkers that were assigned to our case. They will promise resources that simply don’t exist, the caseworker will come at most once a month despite during our training saying we would have them twice a week. The caseworker will be over worked and underpaid and try and get their visit over as quickly as possible. The therapist that we worked here with was malicious and extremely cold and I still don’t understand what her deal was. Our experience was so bad we swore off adopting or fostering all together and have decided to move on with our lives without children. That’s how bad our experience was.
Camelot staff have the most cold and heartless attitude toward foster kids and foster parents. They do not provide support to foster parents. They give you mountains of paperwork and plenty of criticism. Staff turnover… rate is extremely high. Camelot caseworkers are not required to have a college degree or experience in social services. They do not care about the actual facts and documentation that you provide. They care only about what they think is best for the foster child. If you genuinely care about foster children and want to help them, volunteer through DCS or any other foster care agency in TN.
I really like this service, I'm glad to have them throughout the foster care process 🥰
