DASSA Outpatient Services Alcohol and Drug Services
Assessment and referral, outreach, withdrawal management and outpatient counselling are the four things the Murray Bridge clinic lists. Care is non-residential throughout, which means you or a loved one attends the Swanport Road site, or sees an outreach worker, and goes home the same day.
The setting for withdrawal management is not stated, so the intake team is the place to ask how that part works. Substances treated, medications offered, therapy models and any group or family work are not set out for this clinic either, and the opioid treatment programme found at some DASSA sites does not appear here.

How Much Does Treatment at DASSA Outpatient Services Cost?
Treatment at the Murray Bridge DASSA clinic costs nothing. Free and confidential care is the position the service states for this site, funded through Drug and Alcohol Services (SA) as part of the South Australian public health system, and that covers assessment, counselling and withdrawal support alike.
No fee applies whether you attend once for an assessment or come back for a course of counselling. Private health insurance plays no part, and no Medicare rebate, NDIS or WorkCover arrangement is listed for this clinic. Getting to Swanport Road, or to an outreach appointment, is the only cost to budget for.

DASSA Outpatient Services Reviews
Reviews of the Murray Bridge DASSA clinic from around the web are thin on the ground, as they tend to be for public alcohol and drug clinics in regional South Australia. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for this service, and attending individuals are welcome to add their own.
What helps most in a review of a clinic like this is detail: how soon an assessment was offered, whether the counselling was a good fit, how the outreach visits to Lameroo and Pinnaroo were handled. Sharing that gives you or someone you care about a realistic sense of what to expect here.
js didn’t like it tbh
Disgraceful services! The doctors absolutely do not have your best interests! appalling behaviour from supposed professionals, which I assure they are not! I’ve been laughed at, and talked to/understood in sarcastic… ways! They have no and give no understanding to personal circumstances, I would never recommend anyone in trouble to go to southern Dassa, they are by far the worst help I’ve ever tired to get when I’ve been in need of help, they would rather you be on “drugs off the street” than help you decrease on a medication at a safe rate for the individual person, with no compassion or empathy. If I could give minus starts I would and I’m sure everyone else would agree! Disgusting people
Under resourced. Rude and unempathetic and using an incredibly old approach to addiction. Shame SA Health
I am not going to provide details because it would be to critical
great caring people there to help and guide
didn't let me take any of my drugs in >:(
Disgusting behavior. "Punished" for their inadequacues on several occasions. I highly recommend going to a private doctor (Highly Reccomend Rhys Henning) for a personalized service and be treated like a human being.
