The staff are so rude 😭😔 to your kids am sorry for the parents 😭😭😭😭😞😞😭😭 they only care about money I only care about kids and other people I don't care about money. When I took my son to school they did not help my son… with anything.

Amazing place! We went there this year for Birds of Prey Day, which is quite a big event for the community. There are all kinds of birds (of course), demonstrations, various other kinds of animals, and lots of… family-friendly activities. In my experience, all staff are courteous, friendly, and kind towards adults and kids alike.

DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!! If they are a resident, they have all of these security measures, such as; checking up on the kids while they sleep to make sure they're sleeping,v they could be taking pictures without your… kid's or your knowledge, they gets special meal sizes depending on their weight, and the dorm amount are like 8-9 make only dorms and 4 female only dorms, The school isn't much better either, some of the teachers in the high school hand out packets and use chatgpt to write them, the school lunch times for the highschool is absurd at 1:30 before dismissal, at 1 pm, and the 1-8 graders get 11 30 or 12 15, like make it 1130 to 1145, and if you're not done, you take it back with you, do that the 12 15 ones can get food at a reasonable time and leave 12 15 to 1 for the highschool ones, TL DR the residents get checked up on in their sleep, and can get woken up by it, they get meal size by weight class and height combined, the highschool just hands out packets and the teachers use chatgpt, and the luchtimes are absurd.

I brought my niece here & i felt unsafe and uncomfortable when i seen a child being restrained!!! Staff members are very unprofessional 0/10 do not recommend 😒

I attended GC from 2018-2020. Honestly, it’s one of the most horrendous RTC’s you could ever imagine. I was bullied by students and emotionally neglected by staff. I wasn’t given enough food or clean water to drink. I… felt like I was in a concentration camp. I was terrified for my safety and was so scared that I’d never be able to go home again. I believed my entire future was in the trash can by what happened to me at GC. I was desperate to leave and get back home. Luckily I escaped and made it out, but the trauma is still very real and I think about it everyday even 8 years out of the program. I’m in college now, functioning well in the world and living independently. I’m also in therapy and working hard to heal and move forward. Please don’t ever send anyone, especially a child you love and care for to this place…There has to be a better solution.

cute animals and unique programs but criminally negligent administration they completely enable the students with predatory/violent behavior. disgusting

I loveee A BO PEEP💕💕💕This is 100% the best school i have gone to in my 14 years of life.The staff is great,you can actually take breaks and write down your feelings when you need,there’s a lot of people to talk to if… your struggling,and there’s programs to go to and i find them very enjoyable!My favorite program is farm.Its my favorite because of BO PEEP🐑💗

My daughter had the most magical experience In Pre K and kindergarten at Natures Nursery.

Green Chimnys is a an innovative program incorporating academic, behavioral and emotional support in a comprehensive learning environment to help each child achieve new skills and confidence, and return to their home… school district with the best chance of success. I have a close friend who as a child was greatly helped by being at Green Chimnys. Once a year my friend and I enjoy driving up to Green Chimnys, from NYC, to walk the campus and see the animals and birds on the farm they keep. Once we are done walking around looking at the animals we continue our trip by stopping at a diner or other restaurant and cap off our trip eating ice cream at the Red Rooster. We have done this over the past several years; it is a good day trip. There is no charge for walking around the campus to look at the animals.

My son attended this school and was assaulted by a staff member. I would not want any other parent and child to endure such trauma. Everything was recorded and pictures were taken, but the fact is this should’ve never… happened. It took us a while to get over this traumatic situation but never again is what resonates.
