Healing Way – Philadelphia Detox and Rehab Services

The provision listed at Healing Way – Philadelphia is detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Healing Way – Philadelphia Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 7900 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Philadelphia County covers this area. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

How Much Does Treatment at Healing Way – Philadelphia Cost?

Cash payment for rehab in Pennsylvania is usually $1,610 to $5,110 for a week of medical detox, $3,000 to $10,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. No price list for Healing Way was found when this page was written, so treat the Pennsylvania figures as an estimate.

Expect medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling to be part of what you pay for. Does not send methadone to the pharmacy for my husband & they would force him to come in and he is handicapped and cannot do that. There must be other ways to prescribe it. Especially to severely handicapped individuals.

I currently go to the healing way. And the only reasons I had problems was because I wasn't doing what I needed to do. They applied some pressure on me and reminded me I wasn't going to be given up on and sometimes… that's what we need. They helped me embrace some things I'd have never done on my own and continue to hold me accountable me while showing me an immense amount of support. If you can't handle being told what your real issues are, it probably isn't for you. If you can't handle being called out, it probably isn't for you. Staff there will give opportunity if you actually try and put out effort. It's some heavy stuff. Totally worth it.

As a Priest I have sent people who are addicted or in need of mental health services to the Healing Way. From the moment my referrals walked through the door. Their healing began. They were treated with dignity and… respect at the front window by Jasmine. Next stop for assessment with Shakira, who they felt very comfortable with as she showed such tender, loving care. Next stop meeting the boss lady Gabriella, who displayed such empathy that my referrals knew they were home and finally between counselors like Toya their mental health conditions became stabilized as well as their addiction. As clergy, you need people who are dependable respectful and honest, and all of these values, the employees have! I also like the name, Healing Way as God heals and the spirit of God is within all of their employees !!!!!!! If I could give this business 10 stars, I would

this is not a place to get therapy and psychological services. Looking for help is the first step. Going to this place to get the help you need and not getting help is a tragedy. this place is a tragedy. My rating is NO… STARS? but i have to give ONE STAR.

I recommend The Healing Way for treatment. This is the first place I have been to where I have been treated like a human and that they care about my mental health and sobriety. Ms.Toye is a great therapist and group… leader who cares bout your treatment if you care about it. Jenn is also another great therapist. Healing Way I know I’m at the right place with the right people by my side! THANKS GUYS

I was a patient of the healing way and was under going therapy I missed some appointments with my therapist and her supervisor Matthew Hoffman called me and Blatantly disrespected me he said if I’m not going to come to… therapy I can go elsewhere. I explained to him that my therapist and I did not always meet at our appointed time and he called me a liar several times and told me I’m wasting their time. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said “ there is no one above me this is the end of the line for you.” I was distraught I could not believe that someone at a place I went for help could speak to me in that manner. He had no regard for how it made me feel. I went in to the office to talk about how he disrespected me and after he found out I wasn’t recording he spoke to me even more disrespectful he said I disrespected his therapist by missing my appointments. Never in my life would I thought someone who is supposed to be helping me could make me feel that way. This has really changed my mind about therapy how could I go somewhere for help and get talked to like I was nothing. (F.y.i a lot of people go here after being released from prison or are forced to go here I am not one of those people I walked in myself)he talked to me like I was the scum of the earth and I’m sure he probably speak to many people that come here like this and they probably never speak up. This has been a terrible experience I am scared to get help from this point forward because I don’t want this to happen again. I don’t recommend this office to anyone unless you aren’t going to miss any appointments because he will come for you like he came for me.
