If you put in the work and do the next right thing this place can save your life. You just have to keep to yourself and stay out of drama. And be patient and ready. The only thing that I disliked was the curfew even if… working was 12pm . And not being able to have your own food. Everything else was great.

Front desk receptionist was VERY rude for absolutely no reason at all. I was just doing my JOB and she was very nasty she wasn’t no help at all I would like for her to be trained on customer service and learn to have a… positive attitude and energy. She has a VERY NASTY DISPOSITION especially to be a senior citizen.

I have been here for 5 months and my counselor never signed my kids up for Christmas girlft but other got signed up for their kids.... But first of all I would not recommend anymore to this place they have their picks… and its not right I was told if I paid my remaining pass balance that I would get to go home for Christmas and now I have a new balance that I owe and now they're telling me I cannot go home and seeing my family and it's not right because there has been people that came after me that gets to go home and they worked before their 90 days was up but I had to wait 90 whole days before I could work and now that I have to buy Christmas for my kids they want all my money that I worked hard for after I told them I would pay them the rest of their money on the 29 the of this month but that's all they care about is money so no if your thinking about coming here I would not because this is only the half of it

This place put me through hell dont go the counselors are never there to help you'll have better luck at the shelter

They don't care about your recovery. They only care about money. Don't waste your time

I thank God for allowing Hope Haven Staff to give me another chance to redeem my life..Hope Haven became a Haven for hope for me..It afforded me to have the neccessities of life like food,shelter,a place to bathe,a… place to work on recovery,become employable and countless other thingss,but most of all helped me and guided me on the path of life...Thank you so much..

It is a therapeutic community run by caring individuals.

Though this is a program, not much treatment available. Overall it's just another homeless shelter.
