How Much Does Treatment at Hospital CUF Cascais Cost?
As a general private hospital rather than a dedicated addiction treatment centre, the area’s typical outpatient guide of around €700–€2,300 (£600–£2,000) a month is included as broader context, rather than a like-for-like price for this hospital’s own psychiatric or psychology consultations.
Ask the hospital directly what a psychiatry or psychology consultation costs, whether diagnostic tests are billed separately, and how a referral to a specialist service would be arranged if needed.

Hospital CUF Cascais Reviews
If you or a family member has attended an appointment at Hospital CUF Cascais, sharing that experience in a review would help other people in the area choosing where to go.
Beyond reviews, it’s worth checking accreditation: the hospital is registered with the Entidade Reguladora da Saúde (ERS). A useful question to ask is how a psychiatry or psychology consultation here would lead to any onward referral for specialist care.
Professional competence in all professionals, regardless of the role they perform.
Fantastic. If there are any problems, I won't hesitate to try and find doctors at CUF Cascais.
Excellent service from Dr. Angélica Damião. Great medical experience and services in general.
It was good, although I had to wait around 3:30 hours to have the tests and samples collected for analysis.
I went into Emergency with high blood pressure and chest and throat pains. The triage guy gave me the green bracelet - the least urgent, and I said are you sure and he said - well at least you’re not ina. Public… hospital. I waited 90 mins in pain while 15 or 16 people went past me who did not look unwell at all. The doctor I then spoke to inside agreed he shouldn’t have done that. So many people at this hospital look like they hate their job.
The site could be more user-friendly.
Cascais cuf was very nice when I was in Portugal 11 years ago, after the Covid I faced few very bad situations unfriendly and unprofessional staffs. However this time I went to do my colonoscopy ,two nurses named Ana… and my doctor named Cristina were super kind and professional . They made my check as an enjoyable journey and after the check Dr. Cristina explained very clear what’s the result and what I should do next . I truly see old cascais cuf is coming back . Only they still need improve is there receptionists be more friendly( some of them are very nice already )
Unacceptable!!!! Went for a colonoscopy. Arrived 10 min early as directed, and waited in the waiting room for 90 min total before asking for my prescription, and leaving. After patiently waiting already an hr, I went to… the check in desk and inquired about my appointment and was told the dr is running late. I asked how much longer, and the response was it will be soon. Waited another 30 min and inquired. The nice lady went and checked on my appointment, came back and said they’re ready. After waiting 90 min I had zero confidence in there ability to perform the procedure. This is NOT my 1st experience with cuf and their lack of professionalism. I’ve been told that the paperwork that they gave me was incorrect. After waiting an hr for a previous appointment. For those thinkin, why would you sit there so long before inquiring? Answer is, It’s 100% normal!
The worst hospital in this country, especially the one in Cascais. It used to be a good hospital, but that's a thing of the past. ☹️
Exams scheduled for 4 PM, upon arrival they say it's 40 minutes late, and at 6 PM they say it's 2 hours late and we have to continue waiting... Terrible organization. This is an urgent exam request, identified on the… prescription as "urgent next day" by this same hospital, and it took almost a month to get an appointment.
Since the opening of CUF Cascais, I have been a frequent visitor to the hospital, I have been through several delicate situations and to date I only have good things to say about the service provided. In recent years I… have noticed an increase in hospital visits, which is normal, but the service has remained good. I hope it doesn't change.
Just to say- not even once they apologized for having a patient wait for 90min especially after him fasting for 14 hrs, and being up all night drinking a supplement. They all acted like this is normal. Do better Cuf.… And treat patients like human beings and not like animals. Disappointing Experience at CUF Hospital Very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism at CUF Hospital. My husband had a scheduled medical procedure that required him to fast for several hours beforehand. After waiting 45 minutes past his appointment time, we asked the receptionist what was going on and were simply told that the doctor was running late. When I asked for an update, we were told the doctor was already there, but no one could tell us how much longer we would have to wait. Another 45 minutes passed with absolutely no updates. After waiting a total of *90 minutes*, we finally went back to the front desk to cancel the procedure. Only then did another receptionist actually go to the back to check with the medical team. She returned and told us they were ready to call him in. Unfortunately, by that point, my husband had been fasting for hours, wasn't feeling well, and no longer felt comfortable proceeding with the procedure. Delays happen, and we understand that. But poor communication and a lack of consideration for patients are unacceptable. A simple update and an honest estimate of the waiting time would have made a huge difference. Patients deserve better communication, especially when they are fasting and preparing for medical procedures. Very disappointing experience.
Appointments always reconfirmed twice Service as scheduled Easy to get to and be received at the desired service.
Same old territorial infighting you find elsewhere. One CUF doctor from another clinic saw our daughter (who has had chronic stomach pain for a long time) and found a diagnosis and prescribed an endoscopy. Her endoscopy… is two days from now. But we just got a call from the front desk of the doctor who will perform the endoscopy telling us that she wants to set up her own separate, individual consultation just to make sure she thinks this is a necessary procedure. Are you kidding me? Our daughter has already been thoroughly examined and given an official doctors prescription! This is just a pure grab for money and arrogant jockeying for territory. We said “No” and we will go outside the CUF system for treatment. Your loss, CUF. You now will make nothing.
I went to this hospital and, after seeing the doctor, I went to the main reception, where only two women were working. The receptionist annoyed me a bit. I noticed they were calling numbers, but nobody answered because… those numbers had already been answered or the receptionist forgot to update the tickets in real time. This caused an unnecessary delay. They were very slow. This shouldn't happen in private hospitals with so much money invested.
Usually I don’t have much problems with cuf, but today’s is an exception They didn’t checked in me on the reception by mistake and I wasted 2 hours of my life for nothing in return After that they rescheduled my… appointment 3 hours later from my initial time. This is terrible and awful experience without any respect to people’s time I think CUF can and should do much better
