About Kodiak Area Native Association – Kodiak
Kodiak Area Native Association operates from 3449 Rezanof Drive East in Kodiak. The site sits in Kodiak Island County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Kodiak Area Native Association
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Kodiak Area Native Association Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 3449 Rezanof Drive East, Kodiak, AK 99615, in Kodiak Island County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

We had a great experience with the WIC program at KANA Kodiak. Stephanie was very knowledgeable, respectful, and easy to talk to. She explained the program in a simple way and made everything feel easy. The facility was… clean and well maintained. It looked like they were still doing some renovations, which was nice to see. It showed they are putting effort into improving the space for families. Overall, we had a really positive experience. We would go back and would recommend this program and location to anyone.
Unable to reserve sauna time for 4/17. 🤷♂️ Able to reserve sauna today ?? Now I can’t log in ??
My family has been cared for by the Fireweed Care Team at KANA for seven years now with Nick Kesling being our primary provider. We appreciate the attention and care that the team provides, especially the quick… responses via the portal.
Happy with the care that my family is receiving here. The providers are great and really take the time to get to know you.
KANA has been a great resource for myself and coworkers and knowing that they can provide so many specialties to the community. They have directly assisted in caring for Coast Guard families for services that would not… be readily available if it wasn’t for KANA.
Hello, this is such a great resource for so many people in this small community! I truly appreciate everyone that works here. Thank you for all that you do for Kodiak.
Phone ladie was very short with me and rude when I called needing info about a appointment
I had an amazing experience at Kana being from another state and starting to build new relationships with Dr.'s is not on my top list of fun things to do but Kana and NP Brunson actually care and made this transition… smooth and as painless as possible. The office staff are amazing. Thanks again and thank you for your care.
Very caring and genuine.
If you're native. Good luck. You have to be more white than native to get any help. You have to be white to qualify for Kodiak Area Native Association healthcare coverage. This is a racist organization they deny… healthcare coverage to native people. Tried to get dental care, they treat their preferred white people before natives
Thank you Greg and staff for everything.
KANA strives for excellence and demonstrates a strong community partnership for the health and well-being of the entire Kodiak community. My family and I received high-quality healthcare, including Medical, Dental, and… Behavioral Health. I feel blessed to have such high quality care and providers in Kodiak.
Quick and easy to get a COVID test.
KANA’s leadership and staff have been wonderful to work with, both on a personal and professional level. Everyone I have encountered has been helpful, caring, and friendly. I am thankful that KANA continues to do so… much to provide support to our entire community.
Kodiak Area Native Association is our primary care provider for medical, dental and behavioral health needs. The care and cleanliness of the facilities tops the rest. The resources available for families is unbeatable.
Thankful of the quality care I received. More than satisfied with the excellent service for both dental and medical checkups. Contacted with appointment reminders, and received informative detailed results and follow-up… care.
