Netcare Access – Columbus Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 199 South Central Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, 43223. Franklin County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

I like going too Netcare they get me the treatment i need very freindly place. Too be
The front desk refuses to let me talk to my case manager after insulting me for not having money for my medication this month
They were great support at the start of care, but after post-care placement it seems that's when they become very hands off and don't seem to support you as much.
Michael is amazing. I called the police trying to get a wellness check on my brother who is an alcoholic and they weren’t able to do another in a 24 hour period. They recommended NetCare Alliance and I called with no… other options on the table. Michael and his partner saved my brother’s life. His alcohol level was in the 300s, he protected my mother, and my brother is now on a path to getting help. We were so helpless and had no idea what would come from calling this organization a they exceeded our expectations. Cannot be more thankful for another human being. Truly gods work they are doing. Thank you Michael. You saved my brother.
I checked myself in voluntarily for depression a few years ago. The people who work here were so kind to me. I had my own room, access to food and activities, and got to meet with a doctor/nurse/psychiatrist daily. They… helped set me up with a therapist and got me started on medication that helped me. They also sent me little postcards regularly for a couple years after I left. It was the sweetest thing, I wish I still got those supportive cards. Last year I was hospitalized somewhere else, and the comparison was jarring. These guys were far superior. If I ever have a crisis again, I will go here without question. And if anybody sees this who works here, I would sure love those post cards again! I'll send my new address! Seriously, the staff here were so caring and helpful. Thank you guys for all you do!
Felt very safe and cared for
They have helped me twice for depression love this place great staff the people that goes there is so nice I've made four friends my first time there last year and this year made three so nice makes u feel safe and at… home
When I was at an all time low in December of 2023, they helped me tremendously. The only complaints I have are that they don't allow certain hobbies like crocheting (which is understandable due to the nature of the… materials used, but due to my autism and rigid thinking it was hard for me and I ended up pestering them, which I feel bad about), and that they didn't have a lot of things to do other than some board games that require people (which during my stay, there were people, but by the last 2 (I believe it was 2, may have been 3, my memory is not the best about that time because of how stressed I was) days there were not nearly enough people (only me and one other person) to do anything other than color, which thankfully my mother dropped off some sharpies that we could use, as the markers they have were sadly lacking. They have movies, but they're a lot of old movies that use DVDs for the DVD player, and when I was there I didn't find any of the movies particularly engaging, though other people did, so I'm guessing its a matter of taste. Another half-complaint half-compliment I have is that they did not seem to understand autism elopement. I would run to my room when I was overwhelmed to de-stress and not have to worry about stimming and/or crying around other people, and I think they saw that as a crisis thing, and not a symptom of my autism, because the nurse asked me if I needed to go to an actual inpatient facility and not stay here for my voluntary stay, which would have been traumatic to me. The compliment side is that she listened to me when I said I did not want to go and I did not feel in crisis. I really appreciated that I was listened to and not forced against my will. Though, I did contain myself from running to my room anymore because I was worried that I would be sent inpatient due to that misunderstanding of autism elopement + the fact that I didn't know how to properly explain it, and that added to my stress, which caused a different autism meltdown altogether where they allowed me into what I believe was the courtyard for a break after I finally opened up about the issue, not in the best way, which I really appreciated. They gave me a tiny portable game player, but the games were boring. I didn't ask if they would allow it, but if I ever go there again, I would try to bring my switch and/or 3ds for my own gaming. They don't allow people to use their phones, apparently they used to but there was an issue with some people ruining it by invading other patients privacy. I wish they (the people who ruined it) did not do that because I read a lot on my phone and did not bring a way to read manga/manhwa. At home, one of my regular things I do is pacing back and forth or around a table, something I do to stim. I didn't feel comfortable doing that or other stims around strangers, and I didn't have anywhere closed off where I couldn't be seen to do that, which is a common stress whenever I go inpatient, voluntarily or involuntarily, which I don't feel is staff's fault as they do need a way to keep an eye on you, but it is something to keep in mind if you are autistic and tend to be wary about stimming/masking. The food was good for me personally with a rigid, restrictive amount of safe foods. I was concerned that I would not be able to eat anything, because in actual inpatient stays they served food that I could not force myself to eat frequently (and one time at Columbus Springs East they served me raw chicken--it was on accident but it made it hard to trust the food after that). The fridge and pantry are open for any time for everybody, and there is not a cafeteria. When I was there, it was stocked with uncrustables, pancakes, cheese sticks, apple juice, orange juice, and other things I cannot remember. Essentially, they are very kind people who genuinely seem to want the best for you, but you need to be able to communicate what you want/need, because they aren't mind readers and they can't help you without knowing what the issue is. They allowed me to leave when I wanted to, which I appreciated.
This place will steal your money out of your personal belongs if you don’t say you have money in your bag, it was only $5 but it’s more about the principal and respect! This place is a joke!!!
Staff were rude and disrespectful. I was lied to about how they would help me get my meds so now i have none of the meds they put me on. The whole thing was a waste of my time. Im not sure why a crisis center treats… people in crisis like they dont matter. Dont go here if your actually in a crisis, they will make you feel bad for being in one
🚨 Netcare Access 🚨 The following review underscores distressing situations inflicted by this organization's unsanctioned abuse of clinical process, gross misuse of power, & tactics leveraged to hide their own misdeeds.… **The Crux of the Problem** Netcare Access has long been marred by operational inefficiencies leading to the unauthorized creation, retention, and disclosure of clinical records. This institution's actions—and/or, inactions—have had devastating impacts on myself and on countless others. What I witnessed, & am still being unlawfully subjected to, violates our civil rights & personal well-being. My lived experience with Netcare reveals disregard for law & regulation; recklessly handling sensitive patient records. It is a harrowing saga of incompetence, corruption, and blatant dismissal of patient privacy and well-being. This facility's obstruction of individual rights, not only breached HIPAA regulations, but also culminated in severe repercussions; including false imprisonment, loss of employment, injuries & discrimination. They have facilitated the misuse of my private health information by law enforcement, catapulting me into a nightmare of false allegations, risks of financial ruin, and ongoing legal battles. **A Denied Right** On April 18 2024, having requested my clinical records—a right supposedly protected under HIPAA—I was denied access by mail. The justification? A baseless claim that releasing these records might endanger someone's life or safety. However, on April 15th, 3 days prior, after months of persistent calls, I was emailed by the records office, and obtained my files. The contents? A litany of inaccuracies and defamatory statements that had directly led to my wrongful legal entanglement. These lies were not only malicious in intent; they'd ultimately be used as ammunition by law enforcement, cascading me deeper into pain, suffering & certain ruin. **Seeking Justice and Accountability** This isn't just my story; its a systemic issue, calling for collective action. If you've experienced similar misdeeds at the hands of Netcare Access, it's vital to recognize that legal recourse is available: 1. **Consult a Legal Professional**: Specializing in healthcare law, particularly those familiar with cases of HIPAA violations and defamation. 2. **File a Complaint**: Within the U.S., this can be done through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for HIPAA violations. For other grievances, local healthcare regulatory bodies or professional boards may be appropriate channels. 3. **Consider Collective Legal Action**: If numerous individuals are affected, a class-action lawsuit can provide a means to seek justice and potentially drive systemic changes within the offending institution. **Resources to Explore** - The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and The Health & Human Services (HHS) website offer guidance on patient rights under HIPAA. - ORC Section 5122.29 | Patients' Rights...❌ - ORC Section 5122.31 | Confidentiality...❌ - (5) That a patient shall be granted access to the patient's own psychiatric and medical records, unless access specifically is restricted in a patient's treatment plan for clear treatment reasons...❌ - Legal aid organizations or associations dedicated to patient rights can provide initial advice or direct you to a lawyer with the necessary expertise. Or Email me! - Online forums and support groups may offer additional insights and emotional support from others who have navigated similar challenges. This organization has made itself a common enemy to many who have been forfeited the right to autonomy, advocacy & deserved representation. **A Closing Note** Netcare Access’s disregard for lawful and ethical conduct has irreparably altered the life courses of many, myself included. By coming forward with our experiences and seeking the appropriate legal avenues, there's hope for not only personal vindication but also systemic reform. Help demand transparency, accountability, dignity in care, empathy & respect!
Honestly I am one of the lucky ones and had a good experience here. I was never alone during the check in process besides like a 2-3 minutes at a time, so no long waiting time to make me anxious. Everyone was very nice… and understanding. They offered to wash my clothes and to give me a meal even though it was 2am even take a shower. They said more than once YOU ARE FREE TO LEAVE ANY TIME so no I was not trapped there. They offered me the remote to watch whatever I wanted on Hulu in the main area. There were books and coloring supplies readily available in the main area. I was able to use the phone even at 2am and any time I asked. The only couple minor issues I have is the staff is VERY LOUD at night so its hard to sleep and they didnt offer me breakfast even though they did give me 2 bags of chips when I asked for a snack in the morning. They called an uber to pick up my boyfriend so he could come get my car. I honestly had a great experience. I was out of there by 9:15am. Good staff from my experience. I say Good luck to you if you come here. From what it sounds like its the luck of the draw.
I'm not sure where to start. From the moment I arrived at CSU everyone was sooooo.... kind. The best facility in Columbus for mental health care. These folks operate from the heart, not from a position of greed. From… the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU NETCARE FAMILY!!!!!!!!
This place saved my life. Got me into treatment for heroin addiction in May 2015. I now have 6 months clean and i can enjoy the little things in life. If you are struggling with addiction or mental health issues get… help its hard but if u really want to change you can. Edit 11/2023- I now have over 8 YEARS 😊
This place has a bad reputation. I am so heartbroken for my friends who were traumatized here, and this makes me angry. Be warned if you sign and give Netcare your personal items, they get to decide when you leave.… (They will lie and say they need your phone for the privacy of the other patients.) Netcare should be ashamed because they trap people and undermine the trust patients need to have in their care providers. I am very concerned about the future of mental health care when providers like Netcare are allowed to use such deceptive, heavy-handed arbitrary methods.
I was sent here from hospital and I am glad. I found answers and highly recommend this place for answers. They did not treat me poorly and I will definitely utilize this service in the future if need be. The staff was… nice and the psychiatrist knew exactly what was going on with me. Highly recommend 👌
This place is horrible! They purposely pink slip you and don’t let you leave. Even the Columbus police say it’s bad!! Watch video of poor guy leaving 5 different times on youtube.
I'm not even sure where to begin. I don't want to leave anyone out. Everyone on my son's care team and that I encountered at the facility was BEYOND wonderful and helpful. So thoughtful and caring they could teach other… medical professionals a thing or two about patient care. The world needs more folks like those incredibly talented, special people at Netcare. My family will forever be grateful for everything they did for us.
I’m reading these 1 star reviews and I’m like what? I feel bad for anyone that had a bad experience but I didn’t. Only thing I would say is the food trays is gross but they let me door dash or my family members brought… me food. Once I got to Miles House and got my car I could go get my own food. I got the help I needed and I’m thankful for Allison, Alicia, Victoria, Wendy, Kim, Anthony, Brii & Lauren. Those ppl really care. Thank you for the talks, the laughs, the cries. I appreciate everything. I’m doing better than I did when I first came in & it’s really because of you guys and helping me see how strong I really am. Thank you again Felicia Brown
This place is like a prison. Locked up, left vomiting, with no one checking on me. And in the end, no help. Don't go here!!
