New Insights II Inc – Lemoyne Detox and Rehab Services
Recorded services at New Insights II Inc – Lemoyne are intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

New Insights II Inc – Lemoyne Reviews and Ratings
Personal accounts of New Insights II Inc sit in this section. Patterns across several reviews, such as repeated comments about communication or waiting times, are a better guide than any single account.
Do not go here if you are court ordered for a drug and alcohol evaluation. They preceded to recommend me treatment for 600 dollars on no real basis. Go to Gaudenzia, they did a proper evaluation and care about your well… being and not your wallet.
This program saved my life. The staff here is amazing especially the counselors. I highly recommend it. Most inpatient recovery places are strictly after 1 thing but not here. They actually care about everybody that… comes through the door. They also allow you to work to get established for your next destination. What more can anybody ask for.
New Insights II cares about treating the individual from inside of their facility and beyond. With comprehensive treatment programs and setting up aftercare plans for individuals, they are empowering every person as… they prepare for each next step in life. Also addiction impacts families as well and New Insights II hosts events which bring everyone together to prove recovery is possible for all. We can not give them a higher recommendation as we continue to see the impacts they are making in the lives of others!
Was deceived into thinking this was a mental health care facility that happened to have experience with patients with a history of drug and alcohol use, only to show up for my appointment to learn that wasn't the case… at all and this was a full-blown rehab program. I would have been content with paying my copay and going our separate ways, but months later they send me a bill that is outrageous and something I should not be forced to pay when I was deceived on the nature of the program to begin with. Absolutely unacceptable.
I have been practicing DUI defense for 38 years and highly recommend New Insights for drug/alcohol treatment services. Brady Maxton has done a fantastic job with New Insights.
I owe a great deal of gratitude to New Insights II. They helped save my life. I tried several treatment centers before New Insights II . Their approach to addiction resonated with me. They helped me with everything,… even helped me find a safe living environment after treatment. I'll always be thankful for all their help.
Came directly from a rehab facility. Very welcoming. Easy payments, including most insurances. Started in the partial hospitalization program, where I was connected with community meetings and tons of information. Also… gave me a chance to get a new job and transition into Invision recovery house. The counselors where very professional, yet fun at the same time. Helped me turn my life around.
The staff from front to back are so kind, non-judgmental, and i felt that they genuinely cared about my well being, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate to my living situation and financial situation and still… made it work out for me the best they could. My counselor Scott was incredibly kindhearted, down to earth, and not only helped me with my substance issues, but he also wanted to help boost my overall morale for my life in general. I felt that he deeply cared about the well being of his clients and wanted to help us as much as he could. It is a good feeling to have someone behind you pushing you to become a better person when you make mistakes in life, and Scott had my back. Id recommend Scott and the entire New Insights II to anyone searching for an alcohol or chemical abuse program, they will make you feel at home and part of the team and genuinely care about your quality of life and how to make it better, thank all of you and especially Scott!
I had a very good experience at new insight 2. The staff is friendly and understanding and the new supervisor is the truth!!!
I loved this place because it gave me the best opportunity to save and change my life. The staff in general are all great friendly people. They make it easy for you to want to continue with the treatment you are… receiving, never judging you for the problems you are going through in life. The counselors they are very knowledgeable on what they are teaching and all specialize in something different to give you the tools to fight recovery. They will push you to bring the best out of your recovery. New Insights 2 is the only partial hospitalization program in the area that allows you to work 40 hours a week at your job and still be able to go to classes and meeting to aid in your recovery. To me this was the only place I considered after reviewing my options because of what they offered and that I could still provide for my family and get my life together at the same time. Providing you with the balance an structure that all addicts need to lead a clean and productive recovery.
I am writing as a family member of someone who was treated at New Insights in Lemoyne. Having a loved one struggling with an addiction is scary and you feel alone. Ed was always willing to speak to me and help me with… any questions or concerns that I had along the way. He also encouraged the family sessions on Sunday, which I found to be very helpful to both my son and I. Ed helped me understand addiction in a way I had not before. New Insights took the time and energy to really help and not just treat you like you were just a number. Ed has continued his support even afterwards which really says a lot.
Before enlisting in the Partial Hospitalization Program offered at New Insights I was unable to recognize that I was an addict. Having attended other treatment facilities I should have realized this long ago. I had no… problem admitting to an "addictive personality", but that was as far as I was willing to go. I'm not exactly sure why after so many years I was finally able to recognize and admit - I AM AN ADDICT. One thing I am sure of is this: the staff at New Insights (particularly my counselor) played a major role in helping me come to this realization. I found the entire staff at the clinic to be friendly and caring. And although I don't feel every one of the counselors would have been a good fit for me, I do feel all of them are capable counselors and have their expertise.
I have to admit that that is the first place I have been to like that in my experience there was awesome they make you feel like a person and I have learned so much from them that even though I did not drink a whole lot… it's what I was doing when I drink that was the biggest problem and made me an alcoholic I can honestly say that they have changed my whole way of thinking about a lot of stuff whether it be about myself or who I'm hanging out with Iowa huge huge thank you to Ed helping me because he put it all in ways that I would understand and most people in his position speak straight from the book and he doesn't he does it in ways that that individual would understand I want to thank all the staff there for helping me and are still helping me
I would like to start by saying that new insights II has been a very good experience in helping me with my addiction. The staff at new insights 2 in Lemoyne is very knowledgeable and caring. And My counselor has been… very instrumental in helping me how to use all the tools to continue in my recovery. he cares about the patient as a person one-on-one basis.
This place really doesn't care about your well-being, especially if you live in an invisions recovery house. If you don't do their IOP program or want to do a different one, they will evict you a.s.a.p. Rude… receptionist and condescension is the norm.
The counseling staff is fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. 3 hour group meeting are held each evening as well as on the weekends. Topics include: daily check ins, identification of alcoholism and… addiction as a disease, art therapy, fun with recovery, and the family in recovery. In my 45 days in the program I was able to have all of the counseling staff for evening group meetings as well as personal 1 on 1 meetings. I have the utmost respect for the job they do. They do what they do because they love it and want you to succeed. I look forward to remaining in contact with and love all of them.
Never stay at this facility.if you think staying at a old row home is partial hospitalization then enjoy i had several medical needs that where not addressed and had me leave the facility. The retreat in lancaster is… nice.new insights is fine for iop and thats it. dont put your self through something like this if you want to be clean.
Wean yourself from dependence. Stand on your own two feet. Honesty Openmindedness Willingness Humility Patience If you were sent there accept the blessing. Find the positive. Fix your part in the situation. Trudge the… road as it turns, inclines or descends, becomes bumpy and embrace the sufferings to enjoy the blessings. Works if you work it
At first this place seems like a great place, however that feeling will change over the next 30 to 45 days. The counselors seem knowledgeable and the front desk staff is pretty friendly. Once inside the program you… realize they treat you like children but expect you to act like adults. Here is an example, if you oversleep even by a few minutes they will make you write a 500 word essay. If you put a plastic bottle in the garbage instead of the recyclable bin they will make you write a 500 word essay. The house you stay in has basic rules and even though you or your insurance is paying for you to stay there, they still expect you to do chores, cook the food, wash the dishes etc. However if the house "Parent" doesn't feel you did a good enough job he can make you do the chores over and over again until he is satisfied. As part of their rules it states "Negligence in performing chores will result in privilege suspension and/or expulsion from the house" Seriously I thought the entire reason for this program was to help addicts learn how to deal with their addictions and help them get onto the path of recovery. Not lets make these addicts cook and clean and write essays and if they don't like it we can kick them out, after all their insurance has already paid their bills. Bottom line is this partial hospitalization program is a joke and needs to be investigated to see if the way they are treating their patients is legal.
