Living at Solstice was absolutely fundamental to my recovery. It was the perfect safe space to help me get my feet back under me and get myself back into the swing of normal life while also having the accountability and… opportunity to stay sober! Eric is a great owner and an even better guy! Highly recommend to all looking for sober living in the LA area!
Great place for recovery! Eric is a great leader and very compassionate. As long as you stay the course and do the right things you will have a great time!
I am incredibly grateful for this sober living home and the support it provides. It is a safe, structured, and positive environment for anyone working on recovery from substance abuse or focusing on mental health… treatment. The staff truly care about the residents and create an atmosphere of accountability, respect, and encouragement. Living here has helped me stay focused on my goals, build healthier habits, and surround myself with people who genuinely want to improve their lives. The home is clean, supportive, and promotes growth, healing, and stability. I would highly recommend this sober living to anyone looking for a safe place to continue their recovery journey while receiving treatment and rebuilding their life.
I am incredibly thankful for this sober living home my son stayed in during his recovery journey. The environment there truly promotes accountability, structure, and brotherhood. The residents held each other… accountable in a way that encouraged his growth and responsibility. Erick led with care making sure the house ran with clear expectations while still offering support. That accountability made a real difference in my son’s recovery journey. I’m deeply grateful for the role this sober living played in helping him continue on the ride to recovery. Forever thankful, Signed, A Grateful Mother
This is an amazing place, where people understand and care about you. Highly recommend!!
The BEST sober living in LA. Eric the owner is one of the kindest and most respectful people I have ever met in my recovery. Definitely a very solid environment, only the best!
I got there they have twin beds for grown men! There's was no food for clients so out of the kindness of my heart I fed a client for two days!! The house manager is in IOP which truly affects the program!! Its not a… safe place to be and I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to this hell hole if your truly seeking recovery its a distraction!! There's no cewfue so this one guy was running in and out the house slamming doors and getting high and who allegedly tried to sleep with another guy who eventually left the program because he didn't feel safe!!
This house is awful. There were rats in this house when I got here. The house manager Eric Bornstein lies and contacts people’s parents without having a consent form signed which is a huge red flag. This place is the… worst sober living I’ve ever been to. It’s dirty, they say they buy groceries but never actually do, and Eric leaves the house dirty. I regret ever going to this house if this review can save someone else from making the same mistake I did, that’s why I’m posting it!
I can’t say enough good things about this sober living home. From the moment I arrived, I felt a genuine sense of support and community. The house itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained — easily one of the… nicest environments I’ve seen in recovery housing. What really sets this place apart is Eric, the owner. He’s not just hands-on — he’s genuinely invested in every resident’s success. He’s attentive, responsive, and treats everyone with respect and compassion. The recovery-focused atmosphere here is strong. The residents are serious about their sobriety and support one another. Whether it’s 12 step meetings, shared responsibilities, or just daily encouragement, this is a place to build a foundation in sobriety. If you’re looking for a safe, structured, and supportive space to continue your recovery journey, this home is the real deal. Highly recommended.
This sober living gave my step son exactly what he needed: structure, accountability, and a strong sense of community. From day one, he told me he felt welcomed and supported by both staff and peers. The house is… well-run, clean, and full of people who are serious about their recovery. The routines, check-ins, and encouragement helped him build healthy habits and stay focused on his goals. We have supported him on his journey as he has lived in a few sober livings before, and this one stands out. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a place to grow.
Solstice Recovery is easily the best sober living I've ever been to. I am given the grace to be completely responsible for my sobriety while also being provided with many opportunities to build community. The owner… checks in with me frequently and often goes above and beyond making sure my needs are met. He does a great job making sure the environment in the house is calm and geared toward a lasting recovery.
We are very glad our son found this sober living. He’s felt a good balance between freedom, boundaries and structure favorable for his recovery. We are grateful that the owner cares about his clients and offers them an… opportunity to be in a safe home where they can focus on sobriety. Our son has been at over 5 homes and this is the first time he has felt a good fit. He has been able to form a community within and voluntarily goes to meetings. Solstice has been a positive experience.
What a great environment for RECOVERY. Treated extremely well. A relaxed environment. Great housemates to top it off. The owner really looks out for the well-being of the clients, which allows for Complete concentration… on transitioning into a new life of sobriety.
I spent over a year here after being homeless for 7 years. Eric and I had some philosophical differences. That being said Eric is great and owns a great house. The house managers were great as well. Solstice helped me… to get my life back together. I would definitely recommend it.
Really wonderful ethos
they were accommodating of my needs🫡
Good place for recovery. The owner genuinely cares about helping people to recover.
This is a really great program. A friend of mine went through Solstice and his life completely changed for the better! They do so many activities with the guys and show them how to have fun in sobriety. Highly recommend… this program to any one trying to get sober and create a better life.
One of the thing I love about solstice recovery is the individual attention you get there. They care about your personal success and making sure that what you need to get there is there upmost concern
I give the owners of Solstice House 5 STARS for the professionalism and compassion. In all the years that my son has been in and out of Sober Living homes, and various programs, no experience has ever compelled me to… write a review until now. This time I am writing to commend Eric and Brian at Solstice for their tireless, efforts to save my son when my family was in crisis. They went over and beyond to provide the help and support my son needed. He is still alive today because of them. Thank you, Eric and Brian!
My friend had a positive experience staying here. The staff's support was exceptional, and the living conditions were clean and stable. The sense of community among residents provided much-needed support. Highly… recommended for anyone seeking a supportive environment for their recovery experience! Thank you to the hosts and the community built around Solstice Recovery!
I’ve been in and around recovery for a long time. Solstice is truly helping men make a long lasting transformation. They are making a noticeable difference in people’s lives, restoring hope and meaning to their clients… lives. Thanks for being a reliable source of recovery!
We brought our family member to Solstice and he has since been sober for 4 months! The owners Brian and Eric were extremely helpful, and always there to answer any of our questions. The house is a great size with an… outdoor space. All in all a great experience.
Great sober living!!! With an amazing hands on owner. The place is very clean and organized and has central AC. The rooms aren’t too crowded and there’s a huge backyard with a big garage converted into a… music/meeting/lounge space. I’d give it six stars if it were an option.
Had an amazing time here! Great staff and super tidy! I’m clean 10 months now - thanks Eric
