I really enjoy being there. I'm currently getting help with mental health and finding jobs
My experience here was great! I was guided by a therapist by the name of Caleb Green. This gentleman was very understanding and knowledgeable. We set a goal, accomplished the goal and I’ve been on track ever since.
completed my required assessment quickly in and out called before appointments to confirm incase i forgot caleb green checked in and monitored my wellness
I spent a while looking for a therapist that understood why I think the way I do. Caleb Green had the time and an open mind to see it.
The Link and Option Center made a huge difference for me. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and heard. The team was compassionate, professional, and genuinely wanted to help. They provided resources and… guidance that I really needed, and I’m thankful for everything they did
The Link & Option Center is the Best non profit organization for mental health that I have ever experienced. They have an outstanding team who works endlessly to help you obtain every resource you need to get to where… you are going. They provide Mental assessments, resources for the homeless and as well resources for rental assistance and basic necessity needs. When I met the Link & Option center as well as The Living room staff I was homeless with no job. The living room opened there center for me as a place to lay my head and get myself together. They allowed me to use there computers to fill out for job applications and rental units and as well they fed me every night. Within a day or two I was able to find a job. From there they connected me with beds plus who is helping me find shelter until I find an apartment on my own . Dr.Green and her team not only did all of those things for me they also out the kindness of there hearts booked me a hotel stay for one week with all expenses paid and breakfast included. Not only that they bought me brand new clothing as well as a beautiful duffle bag to transport my things. This staff has really touched my heart. For a person who was just sleeping on the cta redline I now have a job and weeks away from obtaining an apartment on top money for hotel & food and plenty of new clothes from the linking option center. Thank you so much Link & Option Center for everything you've done for me I truly love and appreciate you all. Thank you Dr.Green for building such a prestigious organization and staff. I pray that GOD blesses you all. Love, Alesha James
Larissa is the best, I really recommend new mothers to sign up.
I had the pleasure of using the doula services and Larissa was such a great addition to my support system during my first pregnancy. Larissa followed my lead and stepped in when necessary. During the early part of the… pregnancy we checked in here and there but as I got further along the check-ins were more frequent (my preference). She provided me with resources to get some items for my baby. During my labor she provided additional support and comfort that was and still is very much appreciated especially since my delivery didn’t go as planned. I am very grateful to have had Larissa’s support and if you get the chance to work with her you won’t be disappointed.
This is such a great service to provide women for pre and post pregnancy!! Just when I thought I would have a lonely start to having another baby, dad has a full time job so more of the parenting falls on me… traditionally, I was set up with my doula Larissa who has been a great help not only during delivery but also it has been nice to just have someone to talk to. She helped with some donations and checks on me often. It’s nice to know you have support when you need it the most!!
Great people. Great care.
So far so good
It's okay. This community is being used. We have to be greatful to have resources in our communty. They are changing more and we are getting less. And if you wonder whu your favorite staff member left...The CEO. I don't… feel like she really cares about our well being, or the community just how to make more money. I don't think it started that was but greed gets the best.
Look, I am never one to leave a bad review. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. But I gotta say, the lady over the phone (has a deep accent), was very rude and bad-mannered. To begin, I was taking my assessment… test over the phone, the lady asked a question about suicide and laughed over the phone when I answered. I was honestly so taken back and shocked that she found that funny and it then made me question myself. When someone is trying to get therapy for mental health, who the hell laughs about suicide? The second thing that happened was, she has a very deep accent (I’m not sure what kind of accent it was). Yes, there were a few times that I had to ask her again what the question was because I did not understand her. At some point, I heard complain to whoever was next to her that I could not understand her. I come from a Hispanic background so it was nothing to do w the accent. I get it, some people do not speak perfect English. My dad has an accent too. But It’s the fact that she complained in front of me, over the phone about it to whoever was next to her. Someone who is trying to get mental help, you really think people are going to go to this place to get therapy? Who knows, maybe the therapist are excellent. But whoever that lady was over the phone (I actually have her name because she emailed me paperwork but out of respect, I will not be publicizing it) left a really bad taste in my mouth and I am most definitely not interested in coming into a place that did not make me feel like I could get mental support here. Please let this lady go as she does not deserve to have people speak to her because of her bad manners. I will be going somewhere else. Please do better for the sake of peoples mental wellbeing.
They don't seem to understand anything you say to them, don't waste your time here go somewhere else
Save your mental health and find a more professional place. The unprofessional behavior of the therapist, the nurses, the psychiatrist and staff is a clown show !!!! Includes the director who upruptly ended our 5-minute… conversation to say she had a meeting will call me back weeks later and still never called back. I filed a grievance and had to ask 10 times for the information!!! Had to visit the office 50 times no exaggerating for documentation to be sent to my employer!! Nurse Stacy is very unprofessional and gaslighting !!!
For those that do not know, contact the office of inspector General and Board of health to file complaints on services that you are not happy with from medical facilities especially mental health! This location is… terrible. Every time a representative from this facility calls me they have no clue exactly what's going on or what they are talking about. They mispronounce my daughter's name over and over and call her a boy. We have been waiting since April for her therapist appointment. At this point I just want to complain and reach cooperate about the issue no longer interested in services here. My DAUGHTER TRIED TO UNALIVE herself. And this matter isn't taken seriously. It sucks because we don't have many options for help where we live at least not good ones. I will be informing the insurance companies as well. Mary the receptionist or person who answers the phone and the therapist Erica are very unprofessional unpleasant unhelpful aggressive if you aren't happy with the service they are offering or checking them on the way they are speaking to you. They both need help with being coached in customer service and being reminded that their job is to help patients to the best of their abilities. They make the patients mental health worse and this is sad! I want to speak to the director of this place.
This facility does not obtain therapist that has an impact. My teenage child went there and she said she felt like she was in preschool being babysat. I went back got a different therapist and it was terrible, the… therapist over stepped boundaries, I dint feel a connection with her I didn’t feel heard and she made assumptions. As a company they are not on one accord and make promises they don’t tend to keep. N that 1 star is a long shot I would tazhet rate a 0.
Love my son’s therapist Ms. Williams she is amazing. However, whoever is in charge of answer the phone really isnt polite and quite honestly very rude . Accused me of keep calling the phone which I thought was rude… especially when I called only once. We are all looking for help and I just think a kinder tone while working for mental health services should be given.. very disappointed.
I have been trying to get an appointment here for 4 weeks. I have called 4/5 times. Each time, I spoke to someone in reception who took my info or transferred me to the voicemail. The lack of professionalism is… unnerving. To not even get a call back, or when I did, the lady said she couldn't help me and told me to contact a different person. I contacted the person she suggested and still haven't heard anything. I was directed here via referral, I am not even going to waste anymore of my time.
"GREAT" FOR LIMITED INCOME POCKETS . 🌟
The counselors are terrible I been going here with my son for a year and been through 3 already they don’t do their jobs keep or give appointments and they don’t have a main line to reach one and it’s no need to make… complaints it’s the samething these folks just getting a check my son have had counseling for 10yrs and I have never experienced such unprofessional folks in my life it’s a shame this place is allowed to be open smfh and helpful resources they never know nothing it’s seem to me only Mrs Stacy and dr corody the physician is the best thing there.
I've been looking for quality behavioral services for my family for some time now. I'm happy I found this place
